Humble Bundle Thread

Don't worry. You will be so bogged down in convolution by the end of the series you will forget to question the validity of his statement.
Well at least don't tell me whether or not the sexual tension gets broken by the end of the series. He hits that, right? RIGHT? Wait, I don't want to know. :speaktothehand:

all i can tell you is if you havent reached the point where it's obvious mulder has a porn addiction then...yeah
I haven't started Californication yet. I have the rest of the x files series, two movies, some comic books, and a PS2 game of X-Files before I move on to the next chapter of my David Duchovny obsession.

i've actually never seen twin peaks...it's on my queue for netflix

well excuUuUussse me. i only have so much time to watch tv, play video games, talk about video games, go to work, and do school work.

im in the last season of ds9 right now...maybe i'll get into twin peaks after that.
That gif is a matter of significance. Also, love or hate it, everyone should watch Twin Peaks. At least the first season and into the second. By the end of the second they already knew they were canceled and things got weird.

Christ, just where are you in the show? Because if you are asking these questions then you can't be that far in.

And for the record, no, that tension never gets broken. There's an episode very early in the show's run episode where they run into a legitimate psychic (I think he's played by that guy that plays the father on Everybody Tolerates Raymond), and his particular specialty is forseeing people's deaths. And he says Mulder dies by autoerotic asphixiation.

He also says Scully doesn't die..... ever. They've actually followed up on that premise with a couple more episodes as well, seasons 6 and 7 I think. It's the closest thing to a coherent plot the show as a whole had, but was still criminally underutilized.

Thinking about X-Files always makes me sad.... the show had so much damn potential if only somebody had taken the time to sit down and plan out those mythology episodes instead of pulling it out of their ass the way they did. I know it was never gonna be a DS9, but it sucks to see that potential wasted all the same.

.....Anyways, anybody here reading the comics? I haven't because I don't see how they could possibly continue a coherent story out of that mess, but I know they are about to have an X-Files/Ghostbusters crossover.

Aren't you forgetting this?

They pulled a Deadpool way before Deadpool did and it's only available in physical form now.

Even though the price isn't that good Cook, Serve, Delicious is a fun cooking simulator game. I have many, many hours in it and still have challenges and things to buy. Just good fun!

I'm really tempted by Age of Empire 3 Complete for $4. I've got a copy of it somewhere (?) from GFWL for .10, but who knows to where and when that might disappear.

I had a great time playing Age of Mythology (best in series imo) for Playfire rewards and kind of have that AOE bug re-kindled.

Oh that is a very good price and the lowest according to ITAD, I passed on it before and got tempted before at 10. At 4 it's an obvious buy for me! Also agree Age of Mythology was awesome (I only had the original but it was fun...never got to play the expansion). How is the re-make? I will get when it goes down to 4-5 at Steam so...I'll play it in like 2 years maybe next summer sale haha...

im debating it as well. always had fun w/AOE games.

Age of Mythology HD isn't really HD. It looks mostly the same to me (though there are a few small improvements), but it does play nicely with new PCs and they've integrated Steam stuff like achievements, leaderboards, cloud save, workshop, and multiplayer.

$15 isn't the highest they've gone. They went with $125 for the top tier of that Paradox humble weekly.
Jeez, you made me realized this one makes the $25 Yoggscast one look like a proper bundle.

I know most people in this thread think the daily bundle right now is the most offensive thing they've ever seen, but I'm really tempted to get it. I enjoyed the f2p multi quite a bit when it first came out and I doubt the base game will get much cheaper than 12.50 until the end of the year. I guess the game will be in a proper bundle one day. I'm not dying to buy any more games right now, but Banner Saga is pretty much #1 on my list of games to buy.

Ugh, can't decide, but I'll take these types of deals over repeats any day.
You're wrong, heretic.

You could have gotten Banner Saga on Kickstarter for $10, so it seems absurd to pay more than $10 for it now.

I have that for PS2. I kinda wish I had a better version of it. I'd buy it if they put it on Steam or GOG or something. :whistle2:(
I snagged it for $0.90 on PS2, and later snagged a GOG copy. Supposedly the PC version is much better (trying to remember exactly why).

$0.10 GFWL sale.

Grr... $4 is tempting, even though I have doubts about when I'd get around to it. (I only played the original AoE.)

I can tell you this... if you liked the original, AOE II HD and AO Mythology HD faithfully follow that formula and make many improvements. Both come with the expansions and there's an absolute boatload of singleplayer gaming in them.

Funny enough... I have still not gotten around to playing my .10 version of AOE 3.

10 cents? I did the 10 MSP option. That's 12.5 cents. 13 calls to Microsoft later and I still can't get this obvious ripoff resolved. Those greedy bastards are always trying to screw dedicated customers like myself. Hopefully we can get it worked out and I can end this boycott because Windows XP is no longer supported.

really good in terms of quality, terrible in terms of re run. might be in for a buck for awesomenauts, which i somehow don't have. but probably won't

Humble Indie Bundle 8 was individual keys (last numbered bundle with actual keys), so I expect these are at least individual links (I'd be curious to hear if they are keys or links.)
