If I include multiplayer, and could only have one game... it might be TLOU because I absolutely love the MP.   But... it might be D*Souls or Xcom.  Hard call.

 
The last of us PS4 should be $39.99. I don't care how many awards it won or how great it is...a $60 price tag is too much for an Hd remake of an HD game that is less than a few years old.

At $60 its the same as current PS3 MSRP + Season Pass. They'd be pissing all over PS3 owners if they launched Remastered at the same price as on PS3 but all the content.

More seriously, $60 is a totally normal price for a GOTY / Ultimate / Legendary / whatever edition. They're switching platforms and putting work into the graphics, so it's actually a bigger and better package than most GOTY releases.

Would you feel burned if they released GOTY for PS3 at $60? They're not compelling you to rebuy if you're happy with it on PS3. It's priced for and targeted at new owners.

TBH I'm not a huge fan of the sidescrolling brawlers that have vertical movement. You invariably end up missing attacks because your character is slightly up or down from the enemy. It's a really annoying approach to side-scrollers; either make them locked onto the same height level or make it a different game type, IMO.

I love brawlers and the game just never clicked for me. The gameplay was just never as soon as something like Castle Crashers and I would constantly be just swinging away at nothing or doing things I didn't want to while trying to move because they shoved too many inputs onto one button.

It's not pissing all over PS3 owners because the game's been out long enough that they should release the PS4 version cheaper.

$40 is an absolutely reasonable pricepoint. The only GotYs I can think of that launch at $60 are the Borderlands series and they only do that because fuck Gearbox.

So, I just got Diablo 3 for $3.77 with my $10 coupons from gamefly, and now to trade it in for $17 at gstop. Money!

It's ok. I've never played a Rune Factory/Harvest Moon game before. At first I was super confused about what I was supposed to be doing, so I literally ended up following a guide the entire time. The game gives you almost 0 direction in terms of what you're supposed to do next. It has a lot of grindy trophies...kill 5000 monsters, catch 2000 fish...that take forever. I just caught my 1000th fish today, and I've been doing it forever. I'm almost done with the main story, and I only have the trophy for killing 500 monsters. The trophy guide said he was at 3000+, so I don't know what I did so differently.

But I'm currently sitting at 60 hours played and a lot of grinding left.

 
If somebody praises TLOU based on how it controls, they are devoid of reason. Same for the online. It has potential, the PS3 just didn't live up to it.
