Not my fault the quality of your posts isn't on par. I have quantity AND quality. You don't even understand the difference between breaking a record and taking a championship. A lot of people say I only got that title because Tyler is on a leave of absence, but I assure you I'm the real deal. I am the single greatest PSN Thread Champion to ever live. Tyler can come at me when he gets back, and I'll just squash him back, because I can't be stopped. The people asked for this...they wanted it, and I've finally given them what they wanted. And this Monday, at the E3 2014 pay per view, I will prove to the world, once again, why I deserve to be the champion.

I need advice on Infamous 2.

I'm playing Good Cole and I'm maxed heroic and get no additional positive karma notification after a mission.

I guess I'm maybe halfway through the game.  (I've only opened up one unpowered area and there seems  to be two other landmasses I haven't made it to yet).  My most recent main mission was Nix's family backstory. The upcoming mission I have to pick Good or Evil.

Is it worth staying the Good course the rest of the game or should I go full Evil?  Can I make it to full Evil? Do I want to? 

I probably won't play the game twice (backlog and all).  

Oh, and sorry for actually going somewhat on topic here.

Not bad, it's just its narrative inconsistency betray its gritty, "realistic" aesthetic. For no reason you murder a dozen people for a huckster you've JUST met, it's gamey things like that which betray the reality they are trying to create. It's just like those completely motion captured animated movies (like Polar Express), eerily human like movements but their eyes are dead and lifeless so it comes off incredibly creepy. The closer one shoots to portray reality, the more off it feels when the mark is missed.

I'm assuming you're playing Rainbow Moon on Vita, so my response is geared towards that.

Check out Disgaea: Afternoon of Darkness. It's a PSP game but playable on Vita. It's the first in the series. It's a very silly game, but has a fun story, and the gameplay is a lot of fun. It's quite a bit deeper as far as the gameplay goes, but still very straightforward. Disgaea 3 has a Vita port, but I don't recommend that at all--the story is crap, the leveling system is stupid, and the maps in the campaign are horrendous.

Disgaea: AoD is available at gamestop.com for $9.99. They price-matched a PSN sale at one point and then forgot to put the price back to $14.99 (which is what PSN has it at.) If you want to pick it up, grab it there.

After Disgaea I'd recommend Jeanne D'Arc, though you do need a PS3 to transfer it to your Vita.

If you end up getting into sRPGs you'll eventually want to look into Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions (an enhanced PSP port of the original PS1 game) and Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together (same). They're both much harder and have very serious stories. Play TO before FFT, as they're by the same development team and they made the games in that order. They're extremely similar in gameplay, but FFT is more polished and it's hard to step back from FFT to TO because of it.

If you're playing Rainbow Moon on PS3 and don't have a Vita, then most of these titles are still available though not as great. There's a PS2 version of Disagea 1 (called Hour of Darkness for that version) that goes on sale for $4.99 quite often. Final Fantasy Tactics (PS1 version) is available as well. You'd also want to look at Valkyria Chronicles, though it's a very different style. Offhand I can't think of any others that would be a good fit for PS3.

You won't make it to full evil karma. Plus if you're going for trophies there are story related ones for good and evil that you'll miss if you don't do two playthroughs anyway. Either way you go you'll be sacrificing something. And if you're interested in playing the third one, the good playthrough is considered canon.

Well, I suppose technically you could get full evil if you went around beating the piss out of everybody for a year.

I've been gone from the thread for ages and finally changed my display name to match my PSN one. Whoa, Tyler and Jay are gone? Maybe I shouldn't ask.

Pretty awesome deal on the Rainbow Moon cross-buy thing. $2. Anyone else jump on this? I kind of got burned out early on that game but this will make me come back.

Too bad they didn't put Sly Vita up as individual titles like GOW to get them for free.

I'm not up with streaming these days and I probably won't be able to watch E3 stuff as it's happening so I want to do my usual DVR stuff on my good old TV. I only see Spike doing half of the first day now? Is that true? Any other sources for the rest on TV? G4 is gone, obviously.

I'm buying as soon as it goes on sale. It's a bit too rich for me if it's a Ragnarok Ace style upgrade. It's not getting any real reviews. If folks were raving about the new content Id probably cave and buy at full price.

i haven't even opened my copy of ace yet, but delta is a huge upgrade from the first game. a few of us were talking about it right after release. there's several new campaigns, an alternate route of the magusar storyline, and a multi-floor "dungeon". lots of new archfiends, offerings, and costumes. ability to combo offerings in battle to create even more varied attacks. you can also "prestige" to gain permanent sigils. they also did a massive amount of balancing to the game with the ai, offerings, and the alignment. divine is no longer useless, and chaos is no longer all powerful. there's rumors that can be used to alter pacts, or change the amount of rewards received. a shop for costumes and more rumors. you also get 3 blank pages that you can trade in offerings to make new pacts, you're able to choose difficulty for them, and you earn accessories as rewards for completing them.

Someone else will have to comment on the TV situation, but typically Sony always has their conference uploaded to the store to watch whenever you want and also uploads videos for most third party games that are coming to their system.

True, thanks. I kind of like the grandeur of the press conferences so I will definitely grab that if Spike doesn't show it. I get excited for E3 week and those are the highlights, because I'm a geek.

If anyone else wants it on cable Spike has Monday morning for 4 or 5 hours, which is Microsoft and EA I think?

I was Jaskull, not too active but been here for years.

About the Now beta, yes, I can confirm you do earn trophies that sync up with your games list. At least on PS3. I haven't tried my PS4 app yet.

Yeah, the list of games is pretty big, although I was surprised there wasn't more first-party stuff. I've tried a platforming game and there was a little perceptible lag, even though it says I have the highest quality connection. I'm curious to do an action game next to see if it's still tolerable.

Others have answered, but to fill in a few minor blanks -- the PS4 is doing all the heavy lifting, converting and transmitting video to the vita. The vita is transferring your commands to the ps4. I can play 'twitch' games like Resogun just fine, and that's moving from 60fps to 30fps. Is it as good as on tv? I'm not sure that matters while I'm rocking out having a blast playing anywhere in my house.

It's really impressive.

I'd say Jeanne D'Arc should be your first stop. you need to transfer it from a ps3 to your vita, though. It's a beginner friendly srpg with very similar mechanics, though like most srpgs it's more 'map based' (ie, you go from major battle to major battle) not exploration based like Rainbow Moon. Really solid game.

The closest jrpg (not srpg) to it that I can think of would be Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky also on psp (not sure if it's vita off hand, I own it on a different account). Like Rainbow moon, you run around doing things like in a traditional jrpg, and also like RM combat puts you on a map to fight sort of srpg stye with various spells having different ranges, etc. Combat is a bit simpler than RM but still more srpg than your typical turn based rpgs.

Then there's all the standard SRPG suggestions. But... I think for what you're asking for, Jeanne D'Arc might just be perfect. Or if you want to veer away from SPRG into something closer to JRPG, then LoHTitS.

Thanks. I guess I'll be good all the way. I'm not that invested in trophies but I feel like being a hero.

Plus it's easier not having to explain to my kids why I'm murdering innocent bystanders.

Since I didn't get one and probably won't get one from the PS@E3 app, screw you. :p

Horror Chicken: Lone Survivor is live for those that missed. I'd appreciate feedback on how the webcam looks. I'll also probably make two test videos to see which method of audio recording you guys like best since this new headset has two means of hooking it up to my PC and I'm not sure which one sounds better.
