It is a good game/experience with the hint of a story as the imagery becomes progressively darker. It is slightly marred that you are often fighting against the sixaxis controls instead of it complementing the experience. Hard to beat $3.50 for all 3 iterations (and 3 separate trophy sets).

I really enjoyed Flower.  There isn't much to it in terms of gameplay, but when I had been online for hours blowing peoples heads off or if I just had a long day, it was a nice game to chill out and relax to.  

And I'll echo what has already been stated; getting opinions is nice but watching some vids is the best way to know if you'd be into it without actually playing it.

-Bulletstorm (I know about the online servers shutting down 6/30, but I'm not sure I want to go for the online trophies + plat)

-Catherine (that Ultra Rare plat is taunting me...)

-Darksiders II (liked the first, all-but-certain I'll love this one due to the additional RPG elements)

-Final Fantasy XIII-2 (I already started this and made a few hours' progress)

Those are all really different.... you can always start on Bulletstorm to get a taste for what it would take to plat since it will be dead soon.

You could knock out a few games while going for the MGS2 platinum. Those VR missions with MGS1 Snake will be delicious.

I dont care about the others really, but Bulletstorm was a lot of fun. Its mindless entertainment and not a really long game. Kill with skill!

Bulletstorm is the only one of those I would consider to be remotely worth playing. To be fair, I've only played the first Darksiders and FF13, but I have low expectations for the sequels. Point is, Bulletstorm is a lot of fun and a breezy playthorugh. Not a slog like the others.

Yeah Bulletstorm is actually my favorite of those 4 games as well.  Darksiders 2 was ok but pales in comparison to the original.  I hated Catherine.

Thanks for reminding me I have Darksiders 2 sitting at home towards the bottom of my stack of games waiting to be played. Asshole.

I really did enjoy the first as well. I would rank it as the 6th best Zelda game. I'm surprised I haven't played the sequel yet.

I have a feeling that started out as DLC and, for better or worse, they decided to make it into a full game. The stuff i've seen looks like it has some cool ideas, so I am cautiously optimistic. I'm sure it will probably be viewed like Arkham Origins or other similar titles that are generally competent but looked down on because they are mostly more of the same. Since I am a pretty big Borderlands fan, more of the same doesn't sound too bad to me.

I've never played any of those 4, but I'll say Darksiders II since I loved the first one so much.

It most likely did, with the realization that it was too large for that. I'm a huge fan as well, so I'll be playing day one. I was really hoping they wouldn't carry over the same weaponry though, as that was half the fun in BL1 and BL2, finding and using all the crazy ass guns, etc.

 
Just wait until the half-assed-and-once-was-DLC game gets ported in HDer to PS4 instead of making a new HDer game.

The PS3 version is crossbuy, the vita version is not so they pulled the sale price on the vita version so people wouldn't buy it by mistake. If you've been collecting all the characters while they were temporarily free you can get the last 2 (issac, zeus, and a medieval level) for $2 if you buy the vita version of the DLC (the vita DLC is crossbuy with the PS3), the PS3 version of the bundle is $10.

I would only be surprised if the opposite was true. It's been pretty clear that Sony has been moving away from bigger Vita game development and hoping it catches on as an indie or remote play device. I think the PS Now strategy could be pretty successful, though.

It looks like the distinction may be more on the environment than the guns in this one. The abilities also look promising. Hopefully, they're holding back on some of the exciting stuff. Regardless, it's a pre-order for me and then another buy when it goes next gen (unless it's pretty disappointing). Unless they foolishly do a shared trophy list like the Vita version.

Bulletstorm is awesome.

Darksiders is awesome, but some missed potential.

Darksiders 2 didn't understand what was good about the first, and sucked the fun out of everything.

Catherine is nearly unplayable imo. I know some loved it, I just disliked the main puzzle mechanic. Oh, and if there's one thing I never, ever, need it's plot nonsense slowing down a puzzle game.

Depends what platform you're playing on. I love the game, but the PS3 controls are atrocious. Vita and PS4 (so I hear) are much better.

Bulletstorm is awesome and by far the shortest of all of those.

The gravity mechanics and skilltrees look insanely fun. Think it'll port to next gen? I dont think it will. I think GB is already working on BL3 for next gen, with the purpose of this game to keep hungry fans fed. And so that they can get the moon aspect outta the way and go a different route on 3.

I think if we're getting a next gen port of Sleeping Dogs, any next gen port is possible. Especially if they're making a PC version of the game.

Don't get me wrong, I'm going to play Catherine eventually. I'm just more open to a shorter game like Bulletstorm right now.
