If you commute a lot, I think the Vita version offers you nice, shorts bursts of good fun. If you have buddies and like playing couch/online, go for the PS3 version. I liked the Vita Version and actually got decent enough with it so that I could use it as a controller when playing couch with friends. Hope this helps.

The games that you claimed before the prices went up... do you still have access to them or are they gone?

I'm going to be pissed if I have to pay to finish the last couple of levels on Stranger's Wrath. I kept looking for a date when the beta would end so I would know how fast I needed to finish these games and couldn't find shit.

 
I don't think it ended, they just changed the selection up and are apparantly experimenting with a pricing structure...which will never work. That shit is crazy. I'd let you know but I deleted the two games I tried out already.

I, too, will be playing some free Order Up.

Just wrapped up Castlestorm.  I enjoyed the main campaign quite a bit (much more than Therm) but the DLC felt rather unnecessary and added nothing more to the game besides a few more of the exact same type of levels.

 
I know it's not technically over, but I kept looking for any information on any changes that would be made. I chose the 30 day option on all the games I claimed so I'm hoping that holds, but it's a beta so I'm kind of at their mercy.

What were your thoughts on the controls? That's where my main issue was.

Also the castle building felt pretty pointless to me.

 
Well that's weird, went to check on the PSNow changes myself and found it was completely deleted from my system and I hadn't do that.  Anyone else experience that?  A little creepy if Sony's sticking their fingers into my PS4 and touching it when it's off, enough so that I would consider disconnecting it from the internet when I'm not using it.

Edit- I see there's a 90 day option now that I don't recall being there when I checked it out last time.

Ya know, I never really had any issues with the controls. I played through the game on Normal and besides a couple end levels I never thought it was too hard. Therefore I never felt like time was absolutely of the essence so when I accidentally hit square instead of triangle it never really bothered me. I definitely mispressed buttons or accidentally fired a shot here or there, but it was never enough to annoy me.

Haha the castle building. I have no idea why that was included. I messed around with it for about 10 seconds and got the hell out of there.

Order Up is actually fantastic compared to cooking mama. Its addictive and fun. I've only played the Wii version but it wouldn't be any different.

Wii retail copy also came with a paper chef hat!

Whoever was looking at Tearaway earlier, BB has the physical on sale 19.99 (15.99GCU) as opposed to $17.50 digital. Also for PS4 people, Killzone at 15.99 (pretty close to my buy point, may have to get it)

Tried some Hardline beta. That game is terrible.

Caved on KZ myself. I wouldn't touch another Battlefield game with a ten foot pole. They'd have to give it to me (and they did on + with 3, still havent played it)

God damn I hate Journey. At least Flower had some sort of challenge. I literally never "died" while playing through Journey. There was absolutely no challenge. Zero. Zilch. It was a piece of shit game. Waste of a few hours and a few dollars. Good thing i got it in the collection and was able to almost get my money back. Garbage. Did you unlock some sort of hardcore difficulty in Flower that I don't know about?

I think both of them are "games" only in the loosest sense of the word. They're more of an "experience". Some people just aren't into that and, even though I enjoyed them, I understand why others feel that way. (I did think Journey was overrated though)

But does the PS3 version's included DLC then become available for the Vita version? (I wouldn't think so, which does me no good).

To be clear, I really don't much care for the PS3 version. I'm mostly wanting the DLC for the Vita version. I only mentioned the PS3 version because I would think about getting it if I knew I had all of the content for the Vita game (preferably discounted, didn't grab it when it first came out and was on sale for the first week) but maybe wanted to play some couch multiplayer from time to time.

Journey was a joke to me. There wasn't one thing that was special about it. There was no challenge. It was like playing pandemonium on the PS1. I haven't figured out why it got the critical acclaim that it did. Because it had seamless online drop in and drop out? Okay, so it's tech is good, that doesn't make the game fun, that just means it has a great online system. I don't get why people circle jerked the shit out of it. Flower I actually had trouble a few times navigating around some of the power lines or whatever it was. Literally I never had to stop in Journey. Everyone brings up the dumbass shark thing. Really was it that difficult? There wasn't a single difficult part in the entire "game." To even call Journey a game is a joke to me. It's an "art" experience. Bullshit. It's a fuck ing gimmick and all the reviewers got on their knees and opened their fuck ing mouths. #Banned.

Alright, Stranger's Wrath still works on PSNow for me.  I was totally prepared to make you guys listen to me bitch about it all day long so I'm a little disappointed in that respect.

I saw comments like yours from a ton of people long ago and knew right away I would never attempt crushing in Uncharted. It and the plat are the only trophies I need to finish it yet I stopped. Same thing with 2 and I didnt even bother going that far in 3. Some times I think about going back and trying it, then see another person like you saying this and think better of it. Again.

I know someone here mentioned the follow-up to Boy Meets World (Girl Meets World). Doesn't premiere until next week but the first episode is on Disney's website (w/ compatible ISP or cable). I thought it was absolutely dreadful - like something built purely around a focus group of 9-year-old girls. Topanga is still fine, though, so there's that.
