This thread will maintain a list of all current and upcoming sales and markdowns on the Xbox Live Marketplace / Xbox Games Store for the USA.  YMMV in other regions.  If non-US sales are listed, they will be marked with their applicable region(s).

Please note:

  • You cannot currently buy any Xbox 360 content on xbox.com using your account balance, you can only use an active credit card or PayPal. To use your balance, you must make purchases on your console.  Unfortunately, even "purchasing" free content through the web site like trials requires an alternative method of payment tied to your account, though adding an empty MasterCard / Visa gift card that is registered for online purchases will work.  Xbox One games can be purchased on the web site with your account balance, but DLC cannot.
  • Some sales are intended for Gold subscribers only, as noted within each section.  This requires being a paid subscriber or within a console-activated "1 month complimentary Gold trial" account.  Neither 48 hour trials, 14 day trials nor free weekends qualify.
  • All known sales and information on sales should make their way into the OP. Major Nelson usually updates his blog with new sales information every other Tuesday.
  • ALL OFFERS ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE! No information within this thread can or should be construed as accurate (or still valid), therefore ...
  • Always verify Xbox Live Marketplace prices before your purchase!
  • Spend wisely, have fun, and enjoy!

Played the Deadfall demo, it was pretty interesting.

Will probably end up getting it but will wait until we know what next week's deals are

Will probably get Midnight Club as well, can't really beat 4 bucks

Also tried the trial for mutant blobs or whatever it was called, it was pretty fun but probably not worth the $8

My goodness the credits for Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon are so long. I don't think Ubisoft knows how to make a game with less than 1000 people anymore.
Now just imagine how much you must suck to get left out.

Seriously though I bet they had to include nearly everyone that worked on FC3 because it was basically a standalone campaign.

Outlast is up for purchase on Xbox One now for $20. RBI Baseball is coming to Xbox One next tuesday also
I almost bought PC for $5 today. Glad I waited. I'd rather play it on X1 even if is more expensive.

EDIT: Xbox.com says "Release date: 6/24/2014" for Outlast, but you can buy it now. Might have released early.

EDIT2: For achievement people like me. From The Pants Party at XA

"Main game: 11 achievements, 1000 Gamerscore. $19.99:

https://store.xbox.com/en-US/Xbox-One/Games/Outlast/e30cee6d-748d-4356-98bb-3471ed257ade

Whistleblower DLC: 6 achievements, 0 Gamerscore. $8.99:

[Have to download add-ons via the console]"

It is safe to say that I'll be skipping the DLC

Glad to see Outlast coming to X1.

I'm quite impressed with the indies Microsoft has lined up. Ori and the Blind Forest, Cuphead, Below... All looking awesome.

If only No Man's Sky will come....

The Outlast Whistleblower dlc is actually one of the best dlcs I played in a while, its def worth it, I got Outlast for free on PS4, so I think I got the better deal :)

This achievement sounds fun.
ENERGISER 200G
Finished the game in Insane Mode without reloading camera batteries

Completely blind statement here, but could you just play the game with the brightness turned to the max and not even need the camera?
Probably but I want to give it a shot first. I'll probably break something since insane mode is perma death and you have to beat it in one sitting. I'll give it a shot or two before I try that. Seems like a good challenge.

edit- I've never actually played the game so I don't know if it is even hard or not. I downloaded on PS4 but never played it. It might not even be hard even with brightness at regular.

How do you do that split payment thing again on Xbox One? I thought when I bought BF4 I selected my Microsoft account then it asked if I'd like to pay the rest with CC. The only card I have on my Xbox is from school and I haven't been putting money into it for awhile. I'd really rather not risk it charging the whole thing onto the card and pay most of it with Bing credit.

Yeah. NMS could very well be a system seller for me if Sony winds up with exclusivity. Ori is probably the #2 exclusive I'm most excited for.
No Man's Sky will be a timed exclusive for Sony. That's why every time they mention it they say "console debut". Even when IGN asked them about xbox one they just said "uhhh...well...we're not really gonna talk about other platforms for now i guess..."

Also, don't forget about Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime. Another good looking indie game.

I'm really hoping that's the case. I mean, you've got to figure the "console debut" is a deliberate phrase and that it's only a matter of time before it heads to X1. Right? Right?!?

I dunno... I guess I won't let myself get excited for :xb1: NMS until it's actually announced. If at all.

No man's sky has been the only game of the whole E3 that truly has impressed me. A group of few people has come with the most ambitious and genuine concept for a videogame. Well, maybe "a game that creates itself" isnt a brand new idea but those generated worlds look so appealing to me, a huge universe to explore. I wish the core gameplay and story/quest structure will be at the level of the engine. If not, lets hope at least big companies get interested and prostitute explore and expand this revolutionary way of creating a gaming world.

Didn't know about Outlast coming to Xbox One, definitely gonna have to get that one, been a long time since I've played some sort of scary/creepy game.

Sixty Second Shooter Prime is up on Xbox One now, its $4.99. I might check it out.

I'm disappointed. I just discovered that high moon studios isn't behind this new transformers game that is coming out soon. I preordered it for xbox one, and now I'm not so sure.

Maybe I wait for it to go bargain bin while I get something else now like UFC or wait until the good crop of games in fall. Hmmm hmmm..

Plus it also doesn't have versus online, so they took that and co-op campaign out now. All it has is campaign and escalation, pretty disappointing, and yeah the company making it are the guys behind that F2P game Loadout that came out not that long ago.

The new developer also made The Incredible Hulk game, so I give them the benefit of a doubt. That game was licensed but still ended up a lot of fun. If they had to cut either versus or Escalation, I'm glad they cut the versus. I'm sure they'll bring it back for the next sequel that isn't timed to a film release.

It's probably pretty safe to assume that most quality indie games will be on both platforms from here on out unless console exclusivity is specifically stated (like that Ori Blind Forest game).

Timed exclusivity still sucks ass for gamers though.  Inside, Below, Cuphead, and I think Woolfe all look like timed X1 exclusives.  :whistle2:(

Oh, never said Loadout was bad (only played a little) but just figured I would point that out since it's their newest game I believe. Didn't know those guys made the Hulk game though.

Personally, I didn't buy the last one after they took out co-op, and I was planning on getting this one since the versus in the other games has always been incredibly fun IMO (T2, Cybertron, Moon, etc) and I'm not really a fan of modes where enemies are in waves and didn't care for escalation much in the first one. So for me having no versus OR co-op is definitely a deal breaker unfortunately since I don't play these for solo campaign (Transformers are always in a group, come on!).

That said, I'm not saying it will be a bad game and for those who enjoy the campaigns/escalation I'm sure this will still be an enjoyable experience.

lol. I bought the Titanfall season pass and my friends says I need to stop whining. There's no achievements there either, and we hardly play the maps.

Reading on GAF theres also supposedly a Thief demo and Trials Fusion demo. They might not be up on the dash yet, so you'll have to search for them via bing.

"Xbox, download my game faster" I wish I could tell Kinect. 56% of Street Fighter is downloaded so far.

Going through the games I haven't bought yet, I noticed most of them are currently $9.99. Guess I really am a cheap ass gamer.

I'm sure you can find ways to speed up your downloads using IE on Xbox One.

Rockstar delaying GTA heists again...this is ridiculous. After seeing the new Battlefield videos I could care less about even re-buying GTA on XBone now. Screw Rockstar.

Just think if it was a Nintendo product you'd have to blow into the mic to accomplish that.

My wife was able to get a second code for me. I haven't redeemed the second code yet, anyone think I run the risk of being banned if I redeem two of these?

I remember they were banning for some other promotion that people were abusing. I was going to have family members sign up, but I am a little worried to ask.

Yeah that netflix promo I think it was where you could get a free month of live, weren't people banned for using multiple codes from that promo? I can't remember.
