Older CE's are in the 2nd post!

FAQ's:

 • Amazon & Gamestop do not have a pre-authorization charge.
 • Bethesda Store and any of the Treehouse Brand Stores do not have a pre-authorization charge either.
 • Best Buy, NISA Store, Square-Enix Store all have a pre-authorization that goes away after 3-4 days or so, 7-10 days max.
 • All pre-orders with Paypal, you pay the full amount when the order is placed NOT when it is shipped.  This goes for every retailer that takes Paypal as a form of payment
 • Be cautious when going for free shipping from any Exclusive Store since they all use Digital River.  Say you order 2 CE's from S/E Store and they have different release dates, DR will wait till the last item comes out to ship yours.  Meaning (since Digital River sucks donkey balls), they could end up selling your pre-order on the first item to release and you could be SOL.  Also be careful ordering something to get your free shipping threshold as well because if the item goes OOS, then you have to wait for it to come back in stock.  This happened to many CAGs ordering the Lightning Returns CE from the S/E store because they ordered key chains that went OOS.
 • ^TL;DR Version:  If something goes out of stock or is not out yet, it will delay your order.

Lol if it sold out that fast, I'll just take it as a sign it was meant for me not to buy it.

I was already sort of hesitant, especially with that credit at Amazon

Well apparently this has already sold out for PS4, PS3, and Vita...that didn't last long.
That's kinda nuts. I wonder if there is something weird going on there behind the scenes due to this CE looking like it's the same for all versions with the game tossed in next to it instead of packed inside? Maybe they have some challenges there related to the store software counting the number available?

If they did genuinely sell out that fast.. then that is pretty amazing. Low production run or a huge demand coming from some mysterious place. Very odd indeed.

It wasn't even below 50% stock when I checked yesterday. It's probably a glitch.
Unlikely. Their store is run by a person working for NIS, not some outside automated entity. They would have likely caught it by now if it was a glitch. I just think they didn't make a whole lot of these to begin with and given the initial flurry of bitching about it not being a real CE or not something people wanted, they probably hit demand pretty right on.

I agree. Plus, I saw it go down to less than 50% stock yesterday and then down to less than 25% stock last night. Pretty sure it's gone unless they get more in.

They probably just made so little for each system because it's such a shitty Limited Edition therefore it looks like it has high demand and it's selling out fast when it's actually not. I'm fairly certain people aren't flooding the listing for a purse sized satchel and a flimsy poster. They could have taken this the normal LE route and made tons more sales, especially from people like me who tend to buy all their LE's (except this one obviously).

the page still shows 25% stock but then at the bottom it's out of stock. is that normal? I'm surprised all three systems are gone.
I'm pretty sure quantities were really limited on this one which is why it sold out so fast. Because it's definitely not as desirable of a package as most of their LEs IMO.

Also, I'm pretty sure that this LE is a pack-in so when one format sells out, they all do, kinda like the DA:I LE.

I personally think it's a neat package and the fact that they apparently only made a small amount makes it that much cooler IMHO. Frankly, I was starting to get tired of the standard NIS LEs that they have been pumping out for literally every game in the past few years.

I just preordered Persona Q Premium at Best Buy today. Now I see that it may just be t he regular edition. Does this mean I have to repreorder it? The recipe says its Premium Wild Card edition but it was only 49.99

What's the SKU number?

When I preordered it it said I would be unable to cancel it after I placed the order so I doubt it will come back up, I hope it does a buddy of mine wants one!
Guess I'll have to hope that some people have credit card info that don't go through around the time then...

There was never a boxed CE version, they literally were separate interchangeable extras for all 3 platforms taking orders from the same pool of however many backpacks/artbooks/posters they ordered.

I'm sure the people who are liking it are liking it because they either are fans of NIS/franchise, like cheaply made "backpacks/purses" or because it appears it was limited. It is safe to say it was "limited" because I doubt there was a lot of demand for this game. And as others mentioned it's not an exclusive collector's edition---you're getting the standard game, regardless of platform, and a few extra things thrown in what I'm assuming will be a standard shipping box.

It's like what the WBShop did with "The Dark Knight Rises" store exclusive edition. They threw the standard blu-ray in a plain brown shipping box with three cheaply made Chinese toys of the main characters.

So basically---you're buying the game and some swag under the guise that it's a CE.

At least with THBS you cant buy the swag separate and the game later on down the road when it goes on sale.

Edit: Not trying to poke fun at anyone who preordered this (Kind of wish I knew from the get go that this was how it was set up as I would have put an order in---even cheaply made items (think ZE:VLR watch) are neat for collector's).

Not odd at all. Looks like the ce stuff will ship outside the box and they probablly made the same amount of stuff they would if it were just on one system and are splitting it among the 3 systems pre orders till they run out instead of making thousands of them for 3 systems.

It isnt very hard to figure it out.

Best Buy messed up the listing for it. They've fixed it on the page so that listing now says it's the standard edition. An employee on the forums said that they ARE planning on carrying the premium edition and are working on getting the preorder page up for it.

So, ya, you might have to cancel your preorder for that and preorder again (at the correct $79.99 price) once they fix the listings. But it might be worthwhile to talk to customer service, tell them that the listing was wrong when you preordered, and see if they give you the premium edition for the $49.99 price you preordered for.

The Best Buy product page for Persona Q is also showing a picture of the Premium edition. Could confuse people into thinking that they are buying the premium edition, based on the picture provided. Best Buy is really screwing up the listing of this game.

That's actually crazy. They had it listed as the premium edition with the premium edition picture (but at the standard edition price). Then, I'm pretty sure they fixed it and changed the listing to standard with the standard edition picture. Now the picture is the premium edition picture again? Go Best Buy!

My preorder ticket says Persona Q Shadow of the labyrinth The wild cards Premium Edition SKU 7377002

My receipt from the ticket just says 3DS-Shadow of the Labyrinth EST REM Balance 48.48

That's interesting. The SKU from the site for the standard edition (or what appears to be the standard edition but has the photo up for the premium edition) is 7377002. So maybe you did get lucky.

Still probably best to talk to customer service, though. Things have been a mess there lately with preorder screw-ups, website listing errors, issues like them not knowing if they were getting the special edition of Final Fantasy X/X-2 until they actually opened the shipment boxes, and not stocking certain new releases at all (like Atelier Rorona Plus, which they actually took preorders for briefly and then decided not to carry and cancelled all the preorders). You'd think a company charging $120 gamers club unlocked memberships and trying to pimp themselves as a gaming store would at least make some sort of effort to not totally suck at it. *shrug*

sorry my bad was a typo on my part.

Just wish they carried the premium edition. Ohhh well this will do and I prefer the statue with this edition.

That's exactly how I feel, the Collector's statue looks better to me. I have both pre-ordered on Amazon, but I've been keeping my eye on bby to utilize my @Gamer membership. I'm sure the Premium will pop up soon.
Do Best buy charge my credit card when I preorder or when the item is shipped?
Rotating charge.

Thanks for the heads up, ordered 2!  One to keep sealed and maybe resell and one to open the extras.  $75 for both after using a $20 cert  :D/

Got 2 Persona Q.

Here's hoping they screw up on the Witcher 3 at some point.

Thanks for the heads up guys, put down 2 separate pre-orders - one for The Order & one for Persona Q.  Will see what happens - I wanted the CE of The Order anyway (I also like that statue better), and I was going to pass on the Persona Q LE because it was too pricey for me, but can't beat half price after GCU.  ;)

Does anybody have any experience with changing payment options for Best Buy pre-orders? My card will expire before The Order's release date, so I'll have to update the payment method at some point.

I'm just curious to if it's easy, like Amazon, or if it's a pain and they'll make me cancel my order and place a new one.

you pretty much can't change anything about an order - address, quantity, payment methods, etc - once its been placed.  even if you call them up they tell you that you have to cancel the order and place a new one.

every time i think best buy is starting to get their shit together they do something dumb like this.  or maybe their employees have grown to hate them so much they keep making mistakes putting new products in.

remember the order 1886 got pushed back to feb 20, 2015

heres two pdf files of the product pages for reference in case you get the regular versions (id also print out / PDF your order details page)

So as long as we ordered the Persona Q Premium Edition online for $49.99, they cant adjust the price, correct? Thats what we will be charged in the end?

Can't adjust the price, but can adjust the listing to match the sku. For example, I pre-ordered Tales of Xillia 2 when it was listed as Tales of Xilla 2, which has now been corrected. So as long as the pre-order sku matches the standard edition, you will probably get the standard edition.

Ordered the Order (say that fast) at that price even though I hate Steelbooks, I do like the statue.   Got a second order (in addition to my Amazon order) in for Persona Q with the 'standard' edition pricing.

Hopefully Best Buy honors both pre-orders.

Thanks for the heads up!

Whattttt. Hate steelbooks.

Yeah, the OCD display person in me hates that I don't have the game case displayed (on the shelf, spine out) with the other standard cases. I end up buying a case and making a cover for steel case games (which is a pain right now for the XB1 and PS4, cases are hard to come buy). I actually like showing off the steelcase in my tchotchke display, but hate working to get a case for the game.

I would love if publishers would let you buy a case/cover for games that don't come with a standard one.

Makes sense. I need to work on proper shelving for all my crap.
