[customspoiler='more Heavenly Sword spoiler']There are a lot of people that don't see it, but there has definitely been some discussion about it out there after the game came out. At first I thought I was just seeing things, but one scene in particular further into the game cemented my opinion. There's nothing dirty in the slightest... more like subtle sexual tension.
[/customspoiler]
Ah lesbian subtext. To be honest I kind of got that vibe while playing the latest Tomb Raider game between Lara and Sam. But then I found a collectable that stated how guy crazy they were and it killed it. Must have been wishful thinking.

I did awesome on that destiny beta. lol. I ended up with all the green armors and weapons I wanted exactly. wootwoot. hopefully some of the progress goes into the real game but whatever.

also I was working hard this week. 4 new girls. they aren't all hot, but hey, whatever...

*snip*
I'd like to think we don't have any psychos in this thread but anyone has access to it. I'd suggest blurring out their personal info in the pics if you post them. I'm sure no one wants their Driver's License info posted on the internet.

And holy shit at that BBY 360 trade-in glitch haha. Now that's how you flip. Guess it's lame of me to mention it now since it appears to be dead but I didn't see until just now. Wonder if Vigilante or Eldritch got in on it since they always luck out with these things.

I'm sure both bought/sold at least 10 units. Possibly in multiple states. If I had one laying around I def would have taken it up there, for sure. But piss on all that driving around, looking, and hoping shit.

How so? Just a different perspective. If I counted every game I owned it'd be well over 300 as well. Or if I counted Netflix I'd have a gazillion movies to watch, too. Just my opinion, of course.

Haha, just read Rogue Legacy description on the drop...

A procedurally generated castle means every run is different in Rogue Legacy. Your character dies, but with each passing your lineage grows and becomes stronger. Experience tons of unique traits making every play through special. Want to be dyslexic? Now you can! Also, all wizards have beards. Regardless of sex.

Since I had to stop GTA to play Bioshock, I also queued up the LBP Karting download. It won't download while I'm playing any MP games, but hopefully I'll be done with GTA by Tuesday.

$303 is for a specific 360 console only.  The 4GB Slim.  Not the E or any other model.  Of coarse that is the one I did trade in a couple months ago for $108 or so to GS.  I did trade them a 250GB HD to get that value.

Yeah, I hardly ever check the main page, you should know this by now. How many times have you talked about a deal and I've said "Wtf are you talking about?" To me the main page is like RPG with time zones. I just can't be bothered.
Haha, yeah, I wasn't for sure. I would have posted this a lot earlier but I figured as big and fast as that thread moved, most have heard by now. 800 replies overnight lol. I have to admit, I only check the main page like once a day now, maybe twice. This thread saves me a ton of money (and the GS thread)

Or rather than torture people with having to do math to figure out the time of the event based on their time zone, the person running that event could just simply make one of these and post the link above the open slots.

I see, I assumed since people were having difficulty figuring out the correct time you must have only been posting times, my mistake.

Speaking of Spec Ops the Line, there is actually a secret fifth ending, spoilers obviously.

The wife's leaving for the in laws and staying the night there. So once I'm done with Bioshock I'm going to be playing the hell out of Ys. Really want to finish it before Tuesday.

Well, bout to hop on and knock these maps out so I won't be "that guy". I may be slower and level 35, but I refuse to be "that guy".

These poll results. How in the hell does someone have 300+ "backlogged" games? People must be including PS+ (which I don't) and steam sales or some shit. I mean, come on. Should it count if you had no intention of playing it, lol? I also don't measure completion by trophies so I suppose that's another difference.
I have around 200 before counting Steam... so yeah. Granted some of it is crap, but since I have around 550 backlogged games, I think it's legitimate to say I want to play 300 of them.

I consider a backlog to be the list of things I would get to if I had infinite time and money. My book backlog is in the thousands. Am I realistically going to read them all? Of course not. But having a larger backlog gives me more options to choose from when it's time to pick the next book.

Same concept with games. I said earlier in this thread that I still have games from the Apple II era I want to play. I wasn't joking. Games like Deadline, Witness, Starcross and A Mind Forever Voyaging to name a few. I also have tons of CRPGs in the backlog that I'll never realistically get to, because they're all 100+ hour games. But I like having the option.

I do, so there.  If I have it to play it, and it's a possibility to play next?  It's backlog.

I probably have more than 300, all physical, but I didn't count them since some of them are from retro/classic systems.

I only included from Playstation and up for my backlog.

To be fair, I did get a lot of them last year when I was pregnant because stupid me thought I would play while on bed rest, that never happened

Ha, well I don't give Eldritch a hard time anymore since he helped me move stuff earlier this year but, yes, he's on another level with it. If Sundays weren't the one day I try to sleep-in I might have actually drove down to Gamestop and tried this shit, though.

Go look at my Steam account and you'll know. I don't intend to play all of them, but even just the ones I do exceed 300+. Then there's everything else...it piles up fast.
Fair enough. I make a distinction between what I eventually want to play and what I'm knocking out at the moment. It kind of makes a poll like this difficult since evidently we define "backlog" differently. If we're doing gaming bucket lists though I'll change my vote.

i forgot this is a totally public thread, lol, so yeah i deleted those id pix.

also just beat bioshock 2. awesome. i freakn missed the historian tho for 100 audio diaries out of 128. Guess I will try to get them on my hard playthrough.

I was wondering why you were posting license pictures

That's cool, didn't mean anything by the backlog comment. I'm just blown away by the results since I thought my 50+ would be on the high end. I really think it's a matter of semantics as I actually feel similar to some of you.

If you're usually perceptive about that sort of thing it'll be interesting to hear your thoughts on Transistor. It honestly all went over my head and I still don't see it, but others have made interesting theories. Not key to the plot (if you can call it that), btw, so not a spoiler.

Ahhh another game I'll have to bump up on my list. I'm hoping to pick it up on sale on PS4 in the future. I'll be sure to leave impressions when I do.

I watch a lot of gay stuff lol so I'm all about the subtext. Just not a fan of (mainly) shows pandering to the LGBT audience with teases but knowing they'll never follow through.

It's a fine line though since lots of women are touchy even with friends so it can be confusing. Heck, I avoided all spoilers and went blind into Gone Home and was pleasantly surprised when the story went that direction. Most times they don't.

My personal definition is, if I own it and I haven't at least played it, then it is in my backlog. If I have given it a try and it is not my cup of tea, then I wouldn't include it in my backlog total. You never know when a game you would think you would hate is one you really enjoy unless you try it.

To me a backlog should just be games you bought with the intent to play. If you bought one of those $1 humble bundles with six games or whatever but were only interested in one of the six games then that should count as one.

I forget sometimes how much hoarding people do. Then these back log discussions happen and I wonder when I will see some of you on tv. "he was a quiet guy. Rarely saw him outside. he kept to himself. Just a polite hello and goodbye. Then one day we realized we hadn't seen him in a while. And a smell started coming from his apartment. We finally called the cops after two weeks and when the smell got unbearable. When they broke down the door they found him. Under a pile of video games cases. They said there were thousands of boxes. All were meticulously stored on flimsy wood shelves throughout the studio apartment. But it appears he tried to add one too many games to his collection."

that episode will be titled "Eldritch"

I counted up all the audio diaries and im at 87 on the last level's auto save. 17 in that final level, so im just gonna redo it and scour the place so I don't have to worry about it at all on my hard/speed run.

also im at 36 or something, so if you guys are doing another non-dlc boost, hit me up. I have messages turned off so as not to distract me from my zen like gaming trance, but ill try to pay attention and check them. Just hard playthrough and then Minerva's den and ill be stuck at whatever % minus that rapture metro mp dlc. doh

I'm trying to be better with my backlog this generation. As a result I've already beaten DR3, Halo SA, Child of Light, Valiant Hearts, Guacamelee STCE and Contrast. Next I'm working on Max and Resogun achievements/trophies. The Trials Fusion and Titanfall DLC comes out this week so that'll keep me busy along with spurts of PvZGW. That game is awesome!

Disc wise I know I'm going to be fucked this fall. I got a copy of Borderlands The Pre-Sequel at PAX East at Gearbox's panel and with that MS Store deal and BBY GCU I've got Destiny, Halo MCC, Sunset Overdrive and Dragon Age Inquisition coming. And I just bought ACIV and COD Ghosts throughout Rakuten or whatever so I need to start those or probably trade in Ghosts. This is why backlogs exist.

Does anyone really give a shit on what anyone else here defines a 'backlog' as, or is anyone else going to really change how they view it? This is not the conversation that is going to take us to #1 guys.

Looking at my disc collection, what should I play next?

I also just realized that I completely forgot about friskys psn thread. I hadn't looked at it in over a week. I just caught up and remembered why I completely forgot about it.
