I didn't find the menus all that burdensome at all. I just found the gameplay rather boring. I've determined that isometric dungeon crawlers just aren't me thing, I need a tad bit more variety in the combat.

I won't say it's for everyone, but I really liked it. If you can get past the visuals, you have great characters, music, and story. Gameplay won't blow you away but gets the job done. I liked it enough to see all four endings, and I can count the number of games I've played through more than once on one hand.

 
You know what isn't an awesome story? "Oh I have to hire someone at my job."

It's almost as bad as "Oh I broke my fridge, guys."

yeah, I have a job interview at a company whose name rhymes with poogle coming up and you sure as fuck better believe that if I get it that's all you'll hear about for a few months.

I'm trying to decide whether it's a good idea to upgrade the "Get more gold" and "Charon takes less of your shit" skills. I think long-term it's probably worthwhile at least to do the first rather than constantly finding myself short on enough cash to upgrade a skill when I die. Doing it relatively early seems like it'd be the best bang-for-buck as opposed to buying one of every skill like I've been trying to do up to now.

Bugles? I used to put them on my fingers and eat them off when I was a kid! That's pretty exciting. I hope you're going to be a product tester.

think you could try to find a bigger picture of a bag of bugles for me please? I couldn't quite make out the fingerprints of the person who did the assembly line qa.

Bugles are the best. I did the same thing eating them of my fingers. I also used to try to play them like an actual bugle.

But falconcrest is wrong. Original flavor is where it's at.

So what's the verdict on Hyperdimenion Neptunia, btw? I think I'm going to just sell my copy off before the Vita version comes out and tanks the value.
