If you get New Glarus, I will be jealous.

I have never understood this. Wouldnt some bottle of cheap liquor work better for this purpose?
Well yeah, but sometimes I just wasn't in the mood for a $5 bottle of Gin. That stuff is pretty rough.

Either that or I was combining it with Xanax, which would then mean I would wake up forgetting what had happened after two 24 oz Icehouses anyway.

Completely drug-free now though, don't even use tobacco. Caffeine is as wild as it gets for me these days.

I started playing breakquest and lost all my balls. The only way to continue is to buy more from the store...what a crock of shit
It's free to play. Maybe you didn't know this ahead of time. But it's very very easy to beat the game with the free amount of balls if you're careful and realize there's a limited amount.

At least that tournament was actually going on when we were talking about it.
I think I was jealous that I hardly got to see any of the games unlike the last World Cup. As far as football..I don't usually talk about a specific game much after its been played, because its onto the next one. Unless there is shit talking to be had between the threads favorite teams, which I don't even know besides me and Zimm with the Packers.

There's still quite a few lurkers in this thread, that's crazy to me.  I didn't think any of us were interesting enough that other people would want to read our stupid shit.

All of you are weird. And probably drunk.

I think I've seen worse

Although I've seem to have pissed some people off / annoyed people today :(
I'm pretty sure everyone that's still standing in here has pretty thick skin. tyler tolerated the stalking like a goddamn champ. stotch is really the sensitive one in the group, he just masks it well with indolence.

I haven't liked anything in awhile even though there's plenty of potential out there. I bet you guys are all jealous of my like inventory I've got right now. I'll probably like anything Zimm days for awhile to make up for the Rodgers talk since I'm not going back.

I'm betting it's at 100, which is your 24 hour like limit.

Yeah, bunch of douchey beer drinkers here. My town has one of the largest liquor stores in the country (back me up Cainiac) and I worked there for a year or so sampling tons of different stuff. Is shock top/ blue moon the best belgian style witbier ever? No (those would be the ones that are legit Belgian), but to say it tastes significantly worse than what you get from your standard microbrew is stupid. I would say more often than not it tastes the same. People just know that it is made my Coors and turn their nose. I can't say too much, though. I enjoyed drinking a Landshark every now and again until I realized it was associated with Jimmy Buffet (*shudder*).

If you like the flavor of those beers, by all means drink and enjoy them. To say they taste the same as microbrews is a complete nonsensical statement. There is no way a Belgian White beer like those would taste anything like an IPA or a stout. Now, if you drink all your beer ice cold like Budweiser likes to teach and from a bottle so you can not smell it as you drink it, they may taste more similar.

I don't drink to get drunk. A good buzz is great, but my days of getting drunk drunk are long over. Left that back in my dorm room in college.

Are any of you guys good with Excel and can help me?

Say I have an Excel list of 5,000 names of people to call.  Then I get an email from another department, saying "Don't call these 500 people, we want to call them" and they send me another spreadsheet with 500 names.

How can I easily remove that list of 500 names from my list of 5000 names?

Delete the first 500 and call it a day.

Sounds like you are using the wrong tool for the job. It really should be a database for something like that instead of just an excel spreadsheet. With that said, I would not be shocked if someone knows how.

Ctrl + F to find the names. Then delete the row. Of course that can take some time...

Wut? You guys were going on about how Shock Top/Blue Moon are bad and I brought up that they taste comparable to what you would get from a microbrew for that style of beer. If you're actual complaint is that you don't like Belgian Witbiers, then that's just a personal preference thing and has nothing to do with Coors (not singling you out as I don't really know how much input you had to the original hipster-ness).

Google the "lookup" function. I haven't personally used it, but I believe it does stuff like that. Alternatively, you could add the names to the bottom of your list and then use conditional formatting to highlight duplicate names. Then just delete the highlighted cells.

Well that clarifies what you said a bit. You did not mention anything to do with styles in that last post I quoted. It sounded like you were essentially saying all beer tastes the same when I read that post.

I agree that some people assume a beer is bad because it is made by a certain brewer, and I think that is nuts. Many people will no longer drink Goose Island because it is owned by InBev now just like Budweiser is. I do not give a shit who makes it if it takes good and Bourbon County Stout is one of the best beers made, IMO. However, at the same time, I can drink Blue Moon and I really really hate Shock Top. So I do not think the two of them even though they are the same style taste similar.

Bring it into that Access program

K, my Access/Database knowledge is weak.

Right now I'm using a software program to make these calls, we're not calling using lists straight from Excel. But I import the lists using Excel. I asked my software rep and he couldn't comprehend what I was asking. Seems like it could possibly be a tool they have built in, maybe I need to dig a little more. But since my rep wasn't very helpful I thought maybe I could just handle it myself in Excel.

I did some google searches, and it sounded like the quickest method was to paste the second list into the same page as the first. Then use the remove duplicate function. Sounds easy enough...

you could do conditional formatting if it matches something in the other page of the workbook (like =MATCH(A1,'pagename'$E:$E,0), I dunno if that actually does something, I just dicked with it in excel here). Then they'd be highlighted and you could tell one of your peons to delete the highlighted fields manually as you put your $400 cigar out on the palm of their hand, laughing.
