I have never played a Diablo either but may give it a shot. I wish the game looked like the commercial doe. Dey are SWEET. Even my wife looked at me and said "are you going to get that game"? I told her to relax the game doesnt really look like that. Its cool, but not THAT cool.

damn, that takes some serious nuts to make a multi-platform sequel to a successful title exclusive for a year. maybe it'll land in november of 2015 for x1 and januaray of 2016 for ps4, but still. square droppin bombs up in here.
 
I like how velo finishes his night when I'm driving in to work. and we're in the same time zone.

If it is a permanent exclusive, good on microsoft for snagging such a big fish. That game was definitely not a system seller for me (hell Killer Instinct is closer for me) so I'll just watch snakey stream it.

Lots and lots of money must have thrown into that. And yeah I'm sure it won't be a long wait.

 
I forgot about quantum break - the gameplay footage from the conference is doing the rounds. 3rd person cover shooter with a time freezing mechanic that seems to encourage moving around the battlefield constantly. looks pretty sweet and alan wake was awesome.

Oh podcast stuff...

We did one podcast for GameGravy a few years back.  Not sure if it still exists on the site, but if you really wanna hear my golden tones, I'm sure you can find it on there somewhere.  I don't recall it actually being funny; just a recap of new.  I do remember gushing about the Runner 2 trailer.

WE used a decent USB mic that I think was for music recording (no idea what kind) and just used the podcasting software that came on our work MacBooks.  Seemed pretty simple to be able to record and pause and go back to re-record.

sorry for the late reply. It was very odd, but I found his Obol at a statue before I beat the final boss. On my next playthrough I went to an already closed door and it opened for the fight.

If you don't believe me, look at my psnprofiles. You will see that I got Katagelasticism (mock the traitor, 8/4 9:55pm) BEFORE I got Paterphobia (beat the last boss, 8/4 10:10pm)

Not sure if anyone mentioned this yet, but I saw on Reddit this morning that the devs plan on patching the ps4 version as frequently as the pc version.

BTW.

My new 40" Sony Bravia TV with the PS4 is AWESOME.  Yeah its only 60 hz, but it doesnt matter.  Resogun and Killzone look fantastic.  I did a test last night and put the PS4 on with my 3 year old 43" 720p Samsung plasma.  Everything was dull and of course less bright (plasma vs LED after all).  I got my 4 free games and will look at getting the 5 free movies this weekend.  Check the listing at Best Buy for the details of those deals in case your interested.

Wow. We still have better stuff coming from Sony from last year's Gamescom. =P~

 
While we wait for King’s Quest, we can all shoot some shapes in Geometry Wars 3: Dimensions. Studio Lucid Games, which has produced a small number of mobile games, is taking on the latest entry in the popular shooter franchise. Dimensions will feature a single-player campaign with 50 different challenges in addition to 10 different battle modes. The game is due out this holiday, but Sierra once again didn’t mention any release platforms by name — but it is coming to “more platforms than ever before.”

they also announce dlna and the such... but I am sure we will hear about Sony doing the same at their conference soon.  can't wait for Sony's, I love them going second, it gives MS lovers about two hours where they get a chance to think they won... and then Sony comes out and crushes them.... by the end of the day, MS lovers will be saying.... but.... Tomb Raider.....  :oops:

Don't remember who was trying to get through online with Madden 13, but I have the game and will be playing tonight if someone wants to knock out 600 online points?

i didn't realize the Platinum is a .36 in rarity, it's not a hard plat, just a grind as far as the legacy score trophies go.  once you get the online ones you are good to go!  Almost have all the Ultimate team ones, have an 83 overall team, and played a few games.

I love football and yet I would never get a plat in any sports game because of the online trophies. So I can beleive it when you say that plat is so rare.

 
The good thing about spending way too much money on games and having both consoles is that I get to be excited about all announcements at these types of events. Quantum Break looks gnarly. Can't wait to get my hands on it. 

 
I only mentioned my love for eggs benedict last night because that was the last thing I ate the last time I ate breakfast.  I normally dont eat breakfast because its early in the morning and I am usually only thirsty.  Then I eat a small lunch because I am at work and buy cheap frozen dinners that are quick.  Then I go home or go out at night and gorge on dinner. 

Sometimes the wife likes making breakfast for dinner though.  She makes a great frittata. She can eat breakfast at any time of the day, all day.  She is cray cray.

I can too. One of my favorite meals for dinner is grits, bacon, and eggs over easy.

Like for the bacon and eggs. fuck grits.

I also like corn beef and hash mixed with some eggs over easy. This place we went to the other day had that and my wife had it while I had the benedict. The corn beef is cut in house daily or something. Damn thats good.

That was me, add me..PippInMR2...I'm at 80 in MUT...usually only on at night, if you see me signed in during the day, probably not me

I take the eggs over easy and chop them up real good with a fork, and mix it in with the grits. Tastes even better with farm fresh eggs. Crumble up the bacon and mix it in if you want. So good.

will do, i will be on tonight playing online madden for the points. I want to get all the online trophies done before moving on to the grinding CC trophies. that way if Iw ant to take a break I don't have to worry about the servers.
