Humble Bundle Thread

I guess that BTA tier is never going below 6.76. I think that's what it opened at.

Edit: I think this is good enough to get the $10 tier, especially with no repeats for me. Bought.

That goddamn $10 tier! Argh!

I paid a buck at the $5 6.77 average. Once that PayPal coupon hits, the BTA games are mine.

(Edit: Paid 6.77, sorry.)

Finally, the bundle I've been waiting for.  Steamworld Dig and Gunpoint will be mine...and Papers Please and Gone Home, I suppose.  If the average doesn't go lower than $7 I might as well pony up the extra $3 for Prison Architect, but for now I'm hoping for a sub-$5 bta.

Aw poop, Gunpoint is the base game only, no DLC is included (Director's Cut, etc.)

... And they didn't include the Gunpoint OST either. The hell?

If only more people practiced the fine art of penny locking to increase payment later, we'd all enjoy much lower averages on these bundles.

I have just two of the games in the bundle -- both lower tier -- and the high BTA makes the $10 tier look "not as bad"

If only you a-holes would stop buying your high-tier bundles and focus on the $1 tier long enough for the average to go down!

Wow, I tried refreshing right at 1 but it took forever to load for me, that's a big jump in 30 or so seconds!

$6.64. Lowest in this thread, but still seems to be unreasonable high. I guess I'm in for $1 tier.
5.77!

It has a vinyl record and a 3.5" floppy. Of course it's selling. (And no, I did not mean that last sentence to be in yellow comic sans.)
I really feel like it should be, though. I guess I expect too much of my fellow humans not to pay $65 for a T-shirt, a 3.5" floppy they can't possibly use, and a record (?!).

In fairness, that's how Gunpoint has always been sold. The second tier nets you the soundtrack and commentary and the third tier gets you some other goofy extras (video and prototype games). I bought in at the second tier during a sale and did not regret it.

The soundtrack has also been in one or two game soundtrack bundles. It is some pretty great music.

Purchases less than $1 don't affect the average.
Ah, you're right. I forgot about that. Still, even if people bought at $1 then decided on their tier later it'd be great! :p

Foxhack managed to get $5.77. All I saw was $6.76 for about 3 minutes before it started changing.

I'd be happy with an average < $6, but this one will probably stabilize around $7.

so i bit at 7.20, with a bitter scowl on my face and gave it all to Child's Play saying over and over... "It's for charity..."

Bah,stupid ~$7 average is making me want to just go for the $10 tier. I don't have anything in here and want all of it. Still feels like an ok deal, but I want to cheapass it.

No weekly? Next week has to be HIB 12!

$1 tier:

Spelunky

Gunpoint

Don't Starve

Gone Home

BTA:

Papers, Please

Rogue Legacy

Outlast

Other candidates:

The Stanley Parable

Steamworld Dig

Knock-Knock
Should have figured Gone Home would be in the BTA tier. Otherwise, not bad. Maybe Rogue Legacy will be added next week.

I refreshed five seconds before the clock hit 11, managed to get in around 20 seconds after it began.

Oh I have the soundtrack, I just thought it was weird that they didn't include it since they usually include soundtracks if available. Other games have popped up without soundtracks recently so it's kinda weird.

I'm okay with paying for the higher tiers of the game when it goes on sale in the winter.

Paypal 'killed' those coupons with change of terms of service, so I doubt they are sending them to anyone.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO ;_;

I doubt he has it locked for 5.77, he probably meant $5.77 after paying a dollar.. which means $6.77.
Yep, typo. I meant 6.77. My apologies.

C'mon guys.. HB almost never has good bonuses. I can't remember the last time they did.
This. Both Rogue Legacy and Stanley Parable can be a great core of HiB 13 with another $7+ BTA. Tossing them away isn't smart and 'humble'.

Hmmm,  figured more people would be readily getting the $10 tier.  That's the one I'm getting.  The value, even at $10 is pretty awesome for the number and caliber of the games in it.

So Newegg bought AMD coupons from you at a low price?
I assume that he meant that it was too hard to pass up the ludicrously good deals available for the $1 AMD codes so he had to give his hard-earned pseuodcurrency to Newegg.

I'd like to sympathize but some of us didn't get any AMD codes (cough, cough).

I assumed that he meant he spent $3 worth of bitcoins on AMD codes and Newegg took his "money" but did not give him the codes.

Note to Madjoki: Do not frown after making positive statements. This adds confusion to interpretation.

This is what I originally thought, my second post was a joke though.
