The developers aren't still here, are they? Cuz I don't like this game. Just not clicking for me (not that I've spent a lot if time with it). The wonky DS4 controls Stotch mentioned aren't helping.

fwiw, I'm on vita and haven't had any problems with controls. Hopefully it's just a small issue with PS4 that they can patch

Yeah, hopefully. This feels kind of like Pac Man DX, and I never had issues with that on DS3. I'll spend some more time with Pix, but it might just be one of those games that's not for me. Will definitely keep an eye out for future games from this developer, though, as I dig the art style and generally goofy presentation. Not to mention how awesome it is that the developer has taken a good chunk of time today chatting with us (kinda).
 
Pix is fun and it has cool music. Was playing that Styx and its a pretty good stealth game where u kill humans as a goblin.

Spent about 2 hours with Pix on PS4.  I'm liking it so far.  I'm getting a little better with the controls but I'm still missing turns from time to time.  Spent almost all my time on Arcade, did about 10 Nostalgia levels and just a couple lab levels.  Good stuff.  More Pix and some Dust later.

I think it's ok from what little I've played so far. I think it's a bit too frantic for my tastes.

I'm the same way. I have a monthly BBY bill that I pay online and every time I pay it they ask me to switch to paperless. My options to click are "No thanks", "Remind me later", and "fuck yeah! Paperless! Woo!". I click "No thanks" every fucking time and every fucking time I go back they ask me again.

So basically clicking "No thanks" is the same as clicking "Remind me later". And why not? They pretty much mean the same thing.

 
awesome got the top 10/100 leaderboard, that wasn't very hard at all. and who keeps updating my trophy card before I get a chance to get the trophies? lol

I tried jumping into Pix when it went live, but I kept literally nodding off while playing it.  No offense to you PixDev... I had been up for over 24 hours. 

It seems really cool and I'll probably finish it.  I can see that having the larger screen playing it on PS4 would help in seeing which entrance to use for new areas, but it sounds like there's a trade-off with the controls.  Looks like vita is the way to go since you'll eventually memorize which doors to go in.

The Arcade levels aren't always the same--I've seen a couple different egg layouts that may mess with trying to memorize doors.

I was gonna play some Pix the Cat tonight but its taking forever to download from the store.  Oh well...

Gotta figure out what to start next now that SoM is done.  Thinking of Metro Last Light or Bioshock Infinite on PS3 at this point I guess...

Also, anyone still grinding out Wheel or Jeopardy let me know, I bought both in the last sale and would be down to play with some CAGS.

 
So long, ICO. Back to the shelf for you for now. We might've been good friends 10 years ago.

I recognize that it might be a good game, but I don't look forward to playing it each time I sit down. So time to look for something else that I'll have more fun with.

man I'm not good at this game. have yet to get much past a million after about an hour. haven't even tried the other games yet. still awesome though.

Dude, when has gaming ever been about having fun? You're in it for the wrong reasons.

 
I am happy to report that Costume Quest 2 is basically a reskinned version of the first one with some slight dialogue changes. Like I said earlier, I am cool with this, I just want to play more in the world, so I am happy.

One thing that is beyond irritating is that I can't customize the keyboard controls. Seriously? These guys are PC centric devs and they don't even give some basic customization to their users? It's a good thing that this game massively appeals to my child like intellect so much that I will overlook slights like this, refusals to give us release dates for console versions and it not having the word Madden anywhere in the title.
