When you remote play from the Vita to the PS4 it asks you what account you are logging into on the PS4.  I have only ever used the same account on both, but I could also see them making it so it would not matter what account is logged into the Vita.  It is the PS4 account popping trophies and storing the game save.  It is not the PSTV.

If they added that limitation, it was not a good idea.

How difficult could it be to remove the account it's set up for an add a different one?
It takes about five minutes. You have to go into settings, choose to wipe the Vita, let it reboot, enter the credentials for the account to use, and then get past the introductory crap. Once it's done you're at the Vita home screen and any folders and organization you had for the built-in apps has disappeared. It's a very poor and annoying approach.

Interesting. I was under the impression from comments I'd seen elsewhere that it was locked to the logged-in account. This is better (though of course the inability to use other accounts natively on the Vita still exists, which sucks terribly.)

This. The "one account" limitation is due to the memory card, which does not come into play when remote play is being used.

Hey Pharm, the nightfall strike is crazy super easy this week. I just did it solo and got a cool helmet for my warlock. Just sit back with that Ice Breaker and go to town.

Update coming tomorrow:

http://www.bungie.net/7_Hotfix---10142014/en/News/News?aid=12283

Auto rifle and other weapons are getting a big nerf. It really, really sucks in my opinion that Bungie will ruin weapons for PVE just because they're overpowered in PVP. How about we just nerf everything and make all guns super unstable and only do 1 damage?

Oh and the Templar fight is apparently fixed in the raid. Not entirely sure what it means by increased kill volume, but I guess we'll find out.
Hey Stotch, after the update you should put your sweet helmet on and come be jealous of my full auto elemental scout rifle with its 6% more base damage.

With a PS TV, can i just swap out the memory card I use on my vita, or is it too much of a hassle? And by hassle, I mean does it do that 15 second thing that it does when you swap cards on the vita that people seem to act like it takes 45 minutes and is a huge fucking deal for some reason.

It possibly is, but I dont think the Vita works that way now. I usually only use it for my own account, but I just remembered I did use it for a guest account once when I needed a 4th controller for Sports Friends. I had to end up changing it so that it was logged into my main account, but it was working as a guest account for a brief period.

I would assume if you are using the same account on both, it would work just like swapping cards on a Vita console. I just do not see them spending time making changes to how the SW works for this product.

I agree, though this isn't the first time NG+ has worked this way (e.g., Dead Space, The Last of Us).

And in typical Best Buy fashion, you'd probably receive the $10 GC in your mail a few days later.
it seems like bestbuy are sending gift card in title less evenlopes. all it had was my name on it. it doesn't even say where it is from

I received mine in one of those gray/white-ish bubble mailers, and it listed both my name/address and the Best Buy return address.

$20 BB error in my favor with Reward Zone and it looks like they finally got my account fixed. I'm considering grabbing an eshop card to get Shovel Knight. I don't like spending $$$ on Nintendo stuff anymore so the freebie might be a good time for this. Man I wish that game was on the Vita at this point.

Its coming to vita at some point right?

After Shadow of Mordor, can The Evil Within fill its void? I'll wait for you guys to post your thoughts about it, since it seems like about 4-5 people here are getting it.

Other than the 3rd-person perspective, they're entirely different games, so I'm definitely not looking for a replacement to SoM, just the next fun game to play.

I wouldn't invest any money into GCU. I got the 2 years cheap deal, but I won't be surprised if they go belly up before my 2 years are done. For example when a game is released you can go to their store and think that they have no copies left, and then you leave, but really all the copies are up front locked in a cage. So bizarre.

Ok, did my lunch trip to best buy.  Since you all care, I got Evil Within, Minecraft (dat GCU), the new OK Go cd, X-Men DOFP blu-ray, and an electric toothbrush.  And I used a triple reward zone points coupon.  I'm going to be rolling in all the points.

Not comparing them straight up, just curious if it is the same fun, compelling kind of game that just sucks me in. I really wish the SoM DLC brings trophies...

Too bad Sony sucks too much at advertising to put this anywhere people will see it:

getting quite thoroughly cockblocked by xbox customer service re: refund of microsoft points. at least the gal is being nice about it. I told her that I lost my thumbs in the war diffusing a car bomb so I'm no longer able to use a controller so she should ask her boss if she can refund the money to an american hero. Did I go too far?
Knowing M$ they'll tell you to learn to game with your feet. Hopefully they thank you for your service.

I think I'm done buying Taco Bell Big Boxes (after two of them). Going to just wait for the free online entry time and try then. I'll still go to Taco Bell probably once a week, though.
