I voted no because it wouldn't be nearly as fun to sleep with her if she wasnt married to pharm. Oh and I also think they should work things out...that'd be nice too.

Yeah I had no problems playing with randoms. Always better with a least one person you know though. The guys were all level 26-29 I played with and were tearing it up so it went pretty quickly. I need a bunch of Crucible marks at this point and haven't really felt like playing Control too much though.

I was/am in a similar position. I took the FWC cloak off long enough to hit level 2 Vangard so I could buy some armor (which I dismantled for shards). I put the FWC back on though since I believe you get some big reward when you hit level 4. I will probably then take it off for good and then max out the Vangard rep. The rewards are better from the FWC guy.

Last night I played 4 or 5 Vanguard Tiger strikes which give 6 marks each and some decent engrams and a decent amount of rep. Seems a pretty easy way to level up your rep.

As far as I know, you just get legendary packages when you upgrade the factions to new levels and that's why I'm sticking with Vanguard because I like their weapons more. Let me know if it's something more than that.
 
fuck the Darklurker in Dark Souls 2. I had him down to 1 hit left and when we both died at the same time. Figured if I come here to bitch than I should beat him sooner than later. I only got 1 human effigie left so I hope to be victorious soon.
 
I voted the third option to be a buzzkill and I thought it'd be funny only to see that's the option that's winning so far. Bunch of wet blankets up in here.

Heroic difficulty -  There are no checkpoints or saves so you must beat all 18 levels completely without dying.

If you end up running out, do some effigy farming, get up a decent stack. Then (if you have PS+) upload your save to the cloud. It will be locked up there for 24 hours. Try again until you run out of effigies, then 24 hours after upload you can download and overwrite your save and try again without farming for more effigies.

I didn't see any heavy weapons with the Vanguard. Did I miss them or maybe it doesn't show at level 2? I needed a legendary heavy to get the trophy Kilik was talking about. FWC had one I was working towards but ended up getting one dropped in the actual game during a strike. I wouldn't mind working towards a legendary rocket launcher but it doesn't seem to be offered by the Titan Vanguard guy or the FWC guy. At this point I am just trying to level up my armor and needed shards for that. I was sitting the max of 200 Vanguard marks and not getting any more. So I had to level up so I could spend them.

Did you talk to the Vanguard guy next to the ship girl? That's who has the weapons for sale.

Ah no. I was talking to the one by the table with the two other class leader guys. Thanks for the tip. I will have to see what he has for sale. I have 72 Vanguard marks so I am roughly half way there.

I did some farming yesterday and only got 3 effigies. Do you have a recommendation for a weapon that high poise to stunlock the Darklurker? I wish I beat this before they nerfed all the spells that killed him in 3 or 4 hits.

Actually played a round of clash last night, wasnt too bad really. Goes about as quick as control, play to 10k on it though.

Ya, and unfortunately around 1.07, characters saved after that patch don't work if you delete the patch data and play vanilla. Otherwise I would tell you to just delete the patch data and beat him that way with un-nerfed lightning. I think it's a lightning claymore in that video I gave you but I can't be sure.

Someone in it's comments also recommends Flame Swathe + Great Fireball + Wilted Dusk Herb to replenish spell casts if needed. The AoE is large enough on Swathe that if the two are next to each other it will damage both of them for 2X damage.

Hell yeah disc only. I think it was $21.75 + 3.99 shipping on Amazon. Whatever that translates into. Was gonna trade it into Best Buy if it didn't sell by the time Evil Within goes up, but it already dropped a buck at Best Buy unfortunately.

I'm actually pretty happy with it. I like the traps a lot, makes it feel like a different game than i expected. It's definitely tough though. I don't know how the speed run trophy is going to work since I'm just finishing chapter 5 and I'm already at 5 hours.

Also, are you using the ring of life protection so that you can have a full HP bar when facing Darklurker without having to use an effigy to unhollow each time? It breaks when you die (you don't go hollow and don't drop your souls) and then it just costs 3K souls to repair each time.

Nevermind, I did not order it because it didnt have the pick up in store option. I guess I was still waiting! Woops.

I think BB had another game recently where people were reporting they bought the game on release date and got a GC in store with purchase? Would Shadow Warrior be the same?

I was using Forbidden Sun + Flame Swathe + Wilted Dusk Herb but just got unlucky at the end of the fight. I'll add Great Fireball and see if that helps.

Yeah I've been using that ring and I have plenty of souls to repair it. I got 3 of them so it saves on trips to the blacksmith.

Translation: Oh, you guys figured out a way to beat the boss? We're patching it out, try again.
 
Bungie: We discovered that players who were able to score all critical hits were able to kill enemies far too quickly. This is not what we intended so we have removed all critical hit points.

Yeah, last week with Evil Within. It was in the digital version of the ad. I may wait til Sunday to pre-order in case they do the same thing with Shadow Warrior. I really don't know at this point what to do...
