Also, i just found out something sweet. If i'm playing my Titan and find a purple armor engram, i can store it in the vault and pick it up with my Warlock. It will then turn into something for him instead of the Titan :) Did not know this.

I remember they had some on clearance a couple of weeks ago, I think no one here is buying them. I have to go to market Saturday so if they still have them I'll buy them and let you guys know.
 
K I think ESPN.com may have just topped themselves.

There have been multiple videos (even the front page one early today) and an article about Kobe Bryant being ranked 40th in ESPN's #RankNBA, whatever that is.  And now ESPN analysts are "outraged" that Kobe is ranked so low.  The current poll is even about the ESPN debate over ESPN's rankings of Kobe Bryant.

So ESPN has created some stupid ranking system, intentionally created controversy by ranking a star player so low, and is now reporting on said controversy.

That is LITERALLY manufacturing their own controversy.  That is fucking bullshit.

Are they talking about this at all on TV ESPN too?  Also, what's an good alternative website to get sports scores from?

I guess I should have expected it, but I seem to be running into that "Gift cards and savings codes cannot be used on orders containing Best Buy gift cards." problem again with Shadow Warrior. Plus bestbuy.com says expect to get the game on the 26th through the free shipping option? Yeah, screw them. Hopefully the $10 gift card deal is valid in store which will also give me a chance to see some reviews for the port.

Otherwise I'll be waiting for Far Cry 4 (or COD)

Shadow Warrior is way better than Serious Sam, its a different game bruh. Serious Sam is trash, Shadow Warrior is awesome.

 
I'm never affected too badly compared to others when it comes to PSN downtime. However its still very frustrating and unacceptable in this age.

 
Sony; you have an amazing system with the PS4. Its winning and outselling everything else in the "console war" but a signifiant margin, you have amazing first party games, a lot of third party "exclusive" support and great sales on the store.. 
 
HOWEVER you will lose progress and eventually be overtaken if PSN continues to go down for seemingly no reason on a weekly basis with no explanation from you. Especially when PSN is a requirement to play your games online as all your downloads and PS+ games are linked you have to be online..
 
This whole "go digital" and social future is pointless if your network is down every week. Xbox Live and PSN are basically the same price now, so how come you're not using that money to sort out your servers? When I had an Xbox 360 the network was literally never down.. and Xbox one seems to be the same.
 
Also your website store is so slow and clunky it looks like its straight up from 2001 - update it already!

Live was never down? That's crazy talk. It wasn't down as much as PSN has been lately, but I think you're choosing not to remember some things. It definitely had its share of random outages. Or times when basic online functionality worked but party chat didn't. That happened quite a bit, actually.

Tyler - PSN was down for a few hours last night, at least for me. Yup, annoying, and Nexus, I agree they need to improve, but saying Live never had problems is disingenuous.

Live was down quite a bit, but that was years prior. Live has been pretty stable for a while now. PSN is where live was, hopefully sony gets their shit together. Theres been stories floating around that plus has grown a LOT since launch of destiny, so might just be some growing pains.

PSN and Live are not the same price, psn is 10 cheaper, and if you are on cheapassgamer and pay retail price for either, you're doing it wrong.

I guess I'm the only one that really hasn't noticed PSN being down?  Other than one day last week for about an hour, I haven't noticed anything.

Anyone with a Titan, get that chest piece that Xur has. I've had it and it's amazing. Two grenades and 8 rockets I'm able to carry.

Should I get the Hunter helmet or the truth rocket launcher? Not sure what my coin situation is since I haven't logged on, but I think I only have like 27.

There is a Destiny app for Android (and I believe iPhone too) that you can look that stuff up on I find that handy.

I have Helmet of Saint-14 from Xur already which is a few shards away from being fully leveled up. Should I still grab the Titan chest piece? I was thinking of getting the Truth RL he is offering.

I mean it really depends on what perks that helmet gives, and if you'd prefer those. The chest piece is amazing for me, that extra grenade really comes in handy sometimes. Maxing things out isnt the big deal, you'll always get shards and energies.
