Yall wanna hop on for some multiplayer? Trying to check the mode out and there's literaly no active rooms. At all. For any setting. Isn't this game only a week old?

To be fair, it's an actual live studio audience instead of a canned laugh track. I've inly watched the first episode and was pretty let down by it. So much obvious boring jokes. I had such high hopes for it because of the Stefon stuff he did.

It's a few weeks old now. From PSNP there's 700+ players so far and 1/4 of them have some of the MP trophies.

I'd be up for some tomorrow night or later this week. About to go to bed.

Yeah they said it's a live audience but it sounds so canned. Once the laughter even started a second before the joke was told.

Anyway, the show was pretty bad. Mulaney is not much of an actor, nor is most of the rest of the cast. The stiff acting and laugh track-esque audience just make it feel like you're watching a TV show.

About 15 shy of the 100 thanks to the flash sale. Hopefully we get one more good sale before the end. Was gonna use that 15 towards Dragon age. Otherwise I'll just pre-order it early, and use the 15 on a later sale. Treated myself to hyperdimension rebirth since I'm gonna be returning drive club. First game I've spent cash on since ffx hd.

Anyway, it's only really good if you've been following the series from the very beginning up to the current arc released here in the U.S. (Dressrosa), as there are lots of references to recent stuff. The plat won't exactly be a cakewalk, but I'm definitely gunning for it.

Nice man. We all know the best way to meet chicks is on the internet where they can't see us and are being spammed by 100's of thirsty dudes via text comments.

I've gotten laid so many times that way.

sure feels like there's lag, didn't know that was an option. everything feels just a bit off with the rhythm, but I assumed that was because I'm exhausted.

surprisingly (?) I'm having a hard time swiping the screen in time, seems like that should be pretty solid.

on a side note, surprised they didn't disable screenshots with the AR mode. on a whim I tried to take a screen of the girl dancing and singing on my lap next to my giant sized finger and sure enough. looks awfully lurid though and then I felt bad.
 
I grew up hunting but don't go that much now.

Going deer hunting in November on the family farm. Go opening day with my dad. Got a little buck last year. Canned the hams and made fried deer tenderloin with biscuits and gravy.

Strength of the Sword 3 is awesome so far.  First two levels were pretty simple but Ievel 3 was super tough.  Took about 10 tries, but the time I finally beat him I only lost about a quarter of my health.  Just learning good strategies and figuring out fighting patterns so far.  

For $1, nobody can go wrong.

 
I see what you mean re: Bloodrayne Betrayal, the combat at times is inartful, But it's not really just the long animations (which you could compensate for) but a combination of other things such as since the pallete is dark it is somewhat easy for the character to blend in with the background at times when there are a lot of enemies on the screen. Also since the maps often consist of a long corridor it can be difficult to keep track of the enemies, particularly when one of the most common has a hitscan weapon (as soon as it fires, it hits you, there is no projectile to attempt to dodge). I am also disappointed that there is no-midair grab, that seems like a missed opportunity for extending combos and would have made grabbing the flying leeches, setting up an enemy bomb, or as an alternate way to dodge damage in midair (you are invulnerable while sucking) more fluid.

One of the bosses relies on grabbing an enemy injecting them to turn them into a bomb, then detonating them near its joints to break the rock covering its weak points. You have to hit the enemy to stun it, then grab it. I don't know if because we were riding a falling boss enemy, but my blows kept knocked them to the floor instead, and you can't grab them if they are on the floor. Couple that with the attack the boss does knocks the enemies to the ground too and it can get a bit frustrating to get a grab on them when on solid ground there is no problem at all. I did figure out you could repeatedly pogo stomp the weak points for massive damage on the crab monster.
