Pretty much the only arguments for a digital purchase are cheaper price (which takes a while for most games), hording, and cross-buy. Cross-buy is a legitimate reason to go digital, but most of those don't get physical releases anyway.

My only problem with the Vita carts is they're way too small for my tastes. I'm way too prone to swapping out games and not immediately putting away the one I'm not playing ending in a lost or misplaced for several months game. Its ridiculous that it keeps happening, but at this point I know that between me and the people I let play my system, its much easier to just download vita and ds games.

That said, I'm probably picking this one up physical. I just wish they had done some sort of limited edition for it.

Beat the first major boss last night. Really starting to get addicted. There's so much to the game, and I've barely unlocked anything. Interesting how the game can be played as a tps quite well. There's a lot going on in the story, too.

I'm actually going to miss the political ads. How will I know who wants to kill my children or who is the best politician to smoke marijuana with at a party?

 
It is inconceivable to me that you guys bought Call of Duty day 1 and don't want to play the competitive multiplayer. That is THE reason why the franchise is the juggernaut that it is. The gameplay is fast and fun and you don't really need a lot of skill enjoy it. You're just constantly leveling up and unlocking new stuff to play around with. I'm sure you'll die a lot at first but you improve with time (and not that much time). You also don't need to be in a party. I play with randoms 99% of the time and it's all good.

I guess you miss the point of cheap gaming and this thread... we love our trophies, have tons of games, and love getting paid by Best Buy to try out games... So no I cannot bother with the MP that has no trophies tied to it, I have played it before and it's ok, but not something I want to waste the little bit of gaming time I get.

I can get a game, experience everything it has, get some trophies trade it in, make a couple of bucks, and then get the next game.

This wounds me. Ignoring the best part of a game because there aren't trophies. FWIW, the exo suit shakes up the multiplayer in a significant way and I'm enjoying it immensely. I'd encourage you guys to give it a go while you have the game in your possession (I can't imagine you're having tons of fun in the campaign...).

did you also ignore the part where I said I have played it.... Again I will play it and get to try out each parts of games, but I won't sink my teeth into it and spend a ton of time as it doesn't call to me. I am glad you like the MP, but I don't, never have been an online gamer, prefer playing alone.

And yes I am having fun with the single player, and even exo survival.

If you have IOS and haven't played Run Sackboy Run than download it today. It feels odd playing Sony game on a iPhone but it's a lot of fun.

I might actually use the first-person mode in GTA V some. I just hope there is a seperate setting for driving so you don't have to constantly switch back and forth. I hate first-person driving.

I was thinking the same thing. I'll absolutely do combat in first person, driving no thanks. And I don't want to constantly have to adjust a setting to switch.

Part of that could also be because of how buggy the steam achievements are (I've played up to the first boss and none of the achievements I ought to have gotten have popped).

Nah, I think it will simply be like before, I hope, that one button changes the camera. You always had first person driving in the games, just glad it's an option on foot.

I know they had a mod for GTA IV to do first person on PC and it looked awesome!!! so glad they worked on getting that in

Well your post said "I've played it before", which implied to me that you weren't going to bother playing it this time because you've played past CoD games. Carry on.

I did get all of the achievements but one problem was like MrNinjaSquirrel said about them not popping, and there were some that you would have to do different requirements of a different achievement for it to unlock and it gets confusing without actually looking it up. I don't normally care about steam related achievements but I liked how each one actually unlocked something in the game

There's a file that you can delete that's something like "FlashAchievements" in the isaac folder that will unlock the achievements that you have earned up to that point after loading up the game, although they will all have the same timestamp since they will pop when you load it back up and future achievements will pop as normal.

Some people don't enjoy the competitive aspect of shooters, I don't really, particularly on consoles since I am far more precise with a mouse and keyboard. Most all my console gaming is single player based.

Love Playstation, loved Plus in the past but this is becoming a continual disappointment. Certainly a “Why even bother?” sort of month. You guys could’ve just said, “Hey, since there are so many new games to play this month, we won’t be releasing anything free for Plus this month.” and that would’ve been better than this.
