My wife just texted me. She set us up for a double date tonight. Applebees and dumb and dumber...

Just picture a duel to the death saying double date, applebees, and dumb and dumber. That was exactly my reaction. Except I added in the delee-eete part.

Why can't Gamestop hurry up and leak their BF ad...?
I'm still hoping for some Vita news. Nobody else has Vita anything for some reason.

Also I was just thinking about the GS rental policy; does that apply just to games? If not I could just rent an XB1 next year, play through MCC and any of the other 1-2 interesting exclusives the system has, then return everything before 1/15. :D/

I actually took a screenshot of me coming across my own fake ghost and it saying I died on spikes. The pic is on the PS4. I'll post it at some point tonight.

Alright, Spelunky leaderboards are still screwed up.  We're going to have to abandon the challenge.  And this thread.  And CAG.  I guess I'll see you all on twitch.

I really don't feel like working today. Every Friday should be a national holiday. And then after that is set up, Thursday should become a national holiday too. Etc.

I remember my last Applebee's outing being fair, as well. I don't remember what I ate, but I do remember that it was nothing special. Maybe they're better as a lunch option.
Not really, fair is the perfect word to describe Applebee's options any time of day. It is serviceable if there is no other real restaurant nearby. With that said, I am not surprised they can make a decent salad it would be the sandwich part of Tyler's meal I would be more skeptical about.

I think all the time how much better life would be with standard 4 day work weeks. That seems fair. Instead of 8 hours a day, work 10 and have an extra day off. Of course this wouldn't work for places that operate 24 hours, but it'd be a good start.

For some reason, I think of Ruby Tuesday at the same time as Applebee's. Are they any good?

Their Caesar steak salad is decent. And their long island ice teas.

I'm not sure if I've ever eaten anything else there. I usually just get the same thing at a particular restaurant every time I go. If I want something else, I go somewhere else.  :whistle2:

No, they are much worse. They usually have an incredible salad bar but that is it. I have never been to another national chain that could make a hamburger with absolutely no taste. I guess I can say it was not disgusting. It had no taste whatsoever. I am still amazed by that.

A friend gave my wife a $50 gift card for Ruby Tuesday's for helping her out with something. We have not bothered to go because I dislike the place. Yes... I am avoiding free food.

Eh. They put one near me, but it only lasted a few years. First time I went, I got a turkey sandwich and the tomatoes were frozen. Second time, i got the Macho Nacho burger and it was completely raw in the middle. Third time, I got the buffalo chicken sandwich and it was decent.

What amazes me is that after the first two experiences you still chose to go a third time.

Applebee's does a decent cheap steak. Ruby Tuesday I havnt been impressed with, and they were dicks to my wife about her gluten free order last time we were there so fuck them. Havnt been to Friday's in awhile, but they had some good shit. One thing that's not on the menu anymore that was the shazboomdigidy was the Peppironi Pizzadilla. Basically a quesadilla, but with Peppironi & mozz in the tortilla instead of Mexican stuff.

This was pretty interesting, though hard to listen to:

I would be very careful doing that, because the official policy is that you can't return an opened console.

TGI Fridays is my favorite restaurant like that, but theyre a little pricier. Then Applebee, then Chili's. Never been to ruby tuesday.

I had the chicken artichoke ciababta sandwich at applebees and it was really good.

Last time I went to applebees me and 4 of my friends got food poisoning :/

I haven't been to an applebees... or texas since.

Chipotle has a new chain of southeast Asian restaurants. Shophouse. Anyone been there?
Yeah, I actually mentioned this place the last time there was a big food conversation, but no one noticed. I went to the one in Bethesda a while ago soon after it opened. What I got was good, but I feel like if you put together certain things that clash you might make a bowl that isn't that great which I don't think is an issue with chipotle. I saw on the website that the one outside columbia mall is open now and I've been meaning to go, but I keep ending up at mission bbq when I'm in columbia.

You are abbreviating appetizer as "apps"???
Apps and zerts, fool.
