So that when the sun blows up and the end of the world comes and PSN is down but you still have electricity you can play games until the light fades.

So at the end of the world the sun will blow up but we'll still have daylight? And when it fades, even though we have electricity we won't be able to see our TVs in the dark? And even if the TV didn't have a backlight, couldn't I just flick on a light switch since we still have electricity?

So now I understand... you didn't like the show Lost because it made too much sense.

This is so frustrating. I can see the CoD: AW save data on the PS4, but the game never seems to load it. :headache:

So much for platting it over the weekend, as I very much doubt any patch will be released before next week.
Maybe try uploading the save to the cloud and then download it back to the system?

Once the sun runs out of hydrogen in its core it will begin to retract which will cause the outer edge of the sun to begin to expand out. Eventually it will expand to engulf Mercury and Venus. Close proximity to the outer edge of the sun will cause a drag on the Earth's orbit, pulling it steadily closer until it too is likely engulfed by the Sun, but we'll all be long dead by that point.

You suck at this.

Can't I just poke holes in his logic while attacking his hatred of Lost?

The big event that makes him go traitor happens quite a chunk into the game. I just hit it last night. I'm really surprised they stretched out that part of the story so much.

Wait, the spelunky leaderboards are broken? Why didn't anyone say anything? I had a great run last night!

Also, ac unity coop missions with randoms are utter chaos. I did accidentally get a sync kill, so 9 more to go!

Tyler: Hey, guys, the leaderboards are broken!

Everybody else: Shows fine for me...though you had a really shitty run, looks like.

Tyler: That wasn't my run! My run was glorious and endless!

I know this isnt the right thread to say it but damn playing through the Halo campaigns in MCC is pretty damn fun.  Sucks that the multiplayer is still broken, though.

I got to the super secret spelunky boss hellmec. he just stands there and hands you diamonds until you hit hoop + box. my score was so high that the leaderboards crashed.

I finished off the Pac-Man game this morning.  There were a LOT of levels but the level design stayed better through on this one compared to the last one.  The biggest issue with the game is the lack of camera control.  It is similar to Ratchet All 4 One where it kind of just shows you the angle it wants to show you.  With that said, there are very few points where it is really frustrating.  It is by no means the best 3D platformer, but I enjoyed my time with it.

I surprising got Lego Batman 3 in the mail yesterday, I assumed I would not get it until later today at the earliest.  My kid will be excited when he gets home and I pull that game out to play.

Hopefully, I get the usual Fast Return on Tuesday morning and get GTA 5 from Gamefly next.  I wont hold my breath though.  Getting 2 new releases in back to back weeks would be shocking.

PS4? It's still low availability for me.
Yeah, it was magically Available Now for 2 days after release and I managed to get it. I am still not sure how that happened, but I assume it was because of so many releases lately that people just did not have it at the top like I did. The PS3 version was Available Now for a couple days as well.

I assume you mean ASM2 on PS4? I never played that, but if you mean ASM on PS3, then I never encountered any save glitch.

I did. See below.

*sigh* I did. It didn't work.
ASM on PS3. The game would stop recognizing the save which was great when you had collected hundreds of those comic book issues.

So what exactly is the difference between AC Rogue and AC Unity?  One's solo vs multiplayer?  Setting?

Unity is PS4 only, right?

The biggest difference seems to be that one is good (Rogue) and the other is shit (Unity).

Unity is the PS4/X1 and Rogue is for PS3/360. They are two completely different games with different characters and settings (or so I understand). Rogue got a lot of pre release pub for the main character being an assassin turned templar, so we get to see the series from a different POV potentially.

rogue - no mp, 6GB, ps3/360, set between 1752 and 1761 during the French and Indian War

unity - coop, 38GB, ps4/x1/pc, set in Paris on the eve of the French Revolution
Somebody posted it in here last week? I guess I need to stop skipping so many posts. Stupid work.
I posted it last week. I want it , but can't justify it right now.

Is Amazon doing a Black Friday week thing this year? Or are they at least going to post their calendar of expected lightning deals?
Their deals keep getting worse and worse each year. At this point, they will probably offer an Ouya bundle for 89.99 and just do a limited stock match of the other vendors for the products that people actually want.

They can't offer as good discounts now because they have to pay so much more in OT & holiday pay and other overhead to open at 5pm on Thanksgiving like assholes.

Amazon is "opening" at 5pm on Thanksgiving? I thought they just sucked in general now.

Yeah, I thought the deals calendar is usually posted by this time. Maybe they'll do it tomorrow. Even if they're just matching other retailers, that's fine with me since I'm working on Friday and Amazon is the best option for me.

This is going to be ac3 all over again, isn't it.

Unity is fine, looks awesome and plays well enough. No pirate stuff. Coop has potential and is playable with randoms even if it is a little hard to follow. The whole game has been converted to have a variation on the previous games' mp progression where you buy skills and upgrades and advance in levels. It's cheesy, but it's nice. The city also feels the most alive out of any of the games so far. The main problem? Performance. It drags in the fps department sometimes (randomly, 10% of the time or less) and load screens are probably the worst I've seen. Second biggest problem? Real world plot is dumber than usual. It has several interesting additions to the series and it's worth the price of admission just to be able to pop in and out of buildings.

Don't listen to all the stupid press who are butthurt because of their late embargo (poor choice, ubi) and the fact that it isn't 1080p 60fps (at this point it'd be easier to count the retail games that -are- 1080/60). So far unity is pretty cool.

tyler tryin to sell his lame pre-order bonuses for a dollar lol. just give it away bro, i mean do u really need that dollar?
