Oh yea and I beat every AC game including Bloodlines on psp. Dont ask me how i do it. Its a gift from god.

Man, all I'm gonna say is I hate how some girls try to start shit at work. All I know is after having a kid I ain't (yes ain't) putting up with no ones crap anymore. :grumbles:
 
Haven't updated my medical issues in a while because the docs have had me on various diets testing stuff out. Looks like it was a combination of reflux (which I am now on Omeprazole for) and being allergic to lactose. I had to go on a no lactose diet for 7 days, and add it back in for 3. Adding it back in definitely caused some problems that I won't go into detail about, but I have to call the gastro Monday and see where they want to go from here.

All in all it seems like this will be a very minor thing compared to what it could have been, so I'm very happy about that

My cousin went through something that sounds very similar to the above. She's a lot better now, she eats boring as hell food, but no issues for her for past couple of years. Granted every now and then she eats and has like pizza or something and then gets sick, but as long as she stays to her dietary needs she's good

Yeah, the missions might not have had much variety but at least they took awhile to get through. Some were better than others, but I think each playset from the first game took us on average around 10 hours each. This one we pretty much completed in 4-5 hours.

The toy box does seem to have improved quite a bit from the first, but we're just now starting to mess with it so it's nothing more than a first impression.

And yeah, what rpg said as far as leveling characters goes.

Stacked against other games I have to say no. So many other games with more content at a fraction of the cost. Only worth it if you're in love with the source material (which I imagine most of us are fans of to one degree or another) and even then there are other options. The statues are actually a pretty decent quality though if you like the art style.

If Star Wars Infinity is this bad we might pass, or at least pick it up on the cheap after it's run it's course.

Yeah, we beat it on our second try today and that was it... game over. We still have some pick ups we can grab but there's nowhere near the same amount from the first game. I think we might be able to do a few missions with Rocket still and I assume also with Nova when my son gets that playset for Christmas. Those are the only two characters that crossover to the Avengers set.

Thanks! I'm not too worried about the diet change, although I'm going to miss cheese a lot. My fiancee is allergic to gluten, so luckily we already know out way around some food allergy stuff. It kind of sucks that it took some many tests to get here, but at least it seems like it's finally coming to an end!

Well, I have to talk to the gastro about it on Monday, but I was not having symptoms of IBS. If going off lactose didn't show anything they were considering just blindly treating for ibs. The only thing they aren't sure about is why treating the reflux stopped my pain, which is why they wanted to start checking some allergy stuff

Ya, they never figured out the problem with my cousin til like 7 years or so after she started acting up. You should of seen all the crazy shit she had to try

That sounds awful. I'm glad my problems did not get dragged out for very long. Stomach issues seem like they always take a while to diagnose

Ya they do which sucks

My hubby's been having issues, but our insurance sort of sucks so he hasn't really had as much tests done as he should have, but just to get them to acknowledge it and start trying to diagnose it was a pain in the ass (no pin intended). I was literally yelling at people.
 
I assume Tyler is watching the UFC fights since there is one tonight and he is not posting at all.  I look forward to his description of the woman's ear pretty much exploding in one fight.

Anyway, it's crazy looking. I didn't see it in the prelims, they just re-showed it after the main event. It was hilarious because most the fight fans were gone from BWW and it was just people grabbing a late bite. Looks on their faces were hilarious.

Great card. All 5 main card fights ended in either the 1st or 2nd round.

I have to agree with Snakey. I only played the first Skylanders but the gameplay is really dull and the game became grating after just a few levels.

It'll be fine to play with casual gamers but it's certainly not worth the investment if you looking for anything engrossing or even the tiniest bit challenging.

The maps change every day. Are you struggling with today's map? (They change at either 6pm or 7pm eastern) Today's is super easy, pretty sure I beat 4 straight runs today. Before that I had only ever completed one run before.

I'm so glad we didn't blindly choose this game. Altho it probably still would have gone more smoothly than stupid ass Spelunky.

 
Anybody on here plat New Vegas and know of a good guide? Played it on 360 but never did any of the DLC and recently picked up the ultimate edition. I know how easy it is for a game like Fallout to suck away the time so I just want to stay focused so I can do everything but not waste too much time doing it.

I haven't played today yet, but I played 3 days straight earlier this week, and it was always the same. Just figured I wasn't getting far enough to see a different area. But it was the map where you start on the beach, then move to an area that looks like there's radioactive waste, then into a more residential area. That's as far as I got.

They didn't stop it immediately. It happened in the 1st and in between rounds they worked on it. I didn't stay to watch the second but it looks like they let her come out for the second round, fight for 90 seconds, and then the ref stopped it.

You should play today. It's a good setup with a lot of generous time-addition checkpoints.

Play the game on hardcore, play until the crossroads in the storyline, create a save, and follow each branch from there to clean up the ending trophies.

I didn't use a trophy guide to plat it, though, so I'm not sure which one is best for that.

About every three hours, my phone notifies me about a high wind alert that will last until tomorrow. I don't give a fuck about high wind. Unless it's a hurricane that's gonna blow me out to sea, stop telling me about this stupid fucking high wind.

Yeah, after looking at the trophy guide there isn't nearly as many missable trophies as I thought so a walkthrough probably isn't necessary. It's just as well; I don't like looking back and forth from the tv to a guide.
 
We should have a pinball tourney in lieu of the Spekunky one. We can use the four original Pinball Arcade ones most of us got for free. Or the three original Star Wars ones we got for free. Or if enough peeps have the seasons, we can pick 5-10 in there to use. Same kind of scoring as Spelunky where the highest score for that table gets 15 points (or however many people enter) and the lowest gets 0. Add up the points for the tables and there's your winner. Give everyone a week or a month to get the highest score they can.

I'm glad you're finally getting answers. I know how much of a relief that can be. When my Dr. said to go for the blood transfusion I was worried and scared, but I also felt relieved that they were finally helping me. I cried. No shame.

Chris and I tried Ryse multiplayer and it's pretty fun. It's a lot more of the same and basically just Horde mode with minor objectives thrown in, but still fun.
 
Whoops. I finished Black Flag on accident. I finished the next to last sequence and was going to save the last one for tomorrow, but it wasn't really anything playable. It ended pretty abruptly. Still a great game, though.

I opened the gamefly tab to buy that for 8.99 this week and then waited a few hours and then went back to purchase it and it was already sold out. doh

I ended up buying ac blackflag, nfs rivals and skylanders swap force last bf at bestbuy for some crazy 20% gcu + bf price + b2g1free and then played rivals, gave swap force to my kids and traded black flag so the others were free. I know gamefly always has it on sale for cheap, I was just foolish for not buying it when I saw it. I even opened the link, but then got busy, then when I went back sold out. Oh wells, hopefully they have it on sale again next month ;)
