2 ties in ff this week, thats terrible. I wish id set it up to get partial points to help avoid that. Its as if im running some amateur spelunky tournament.

The golden idol and an arrow both landed in the same square a wall away from the exit. fucking asshole would only grab the arrow even though I threw that shit away and it kept bouncing back. Then the asshole fucking ghost shows up right in front of the door and there's no good way to jump over his asshole ass.
 
I'm just rolling in money in Rogue, but have run out of things to spend it on. I've got all the character upgrades (Swords, Guns, and Outfits) that don't require special unlocking. The amount of money I have coming in from random stuff, renovated buildings, and the fleet thing is ridiculous...but I'm constantly out of everything else. Is there really no way to buy wood and such for upgrading the ship or buildings? Seems very misbalanced, but maybe I'm just missing something.  :whistle2:k

There wasn't in Black Flag. You had to defeat other ships and either board them for full cargo, or sink them for half of what they had.

 
I was about to waste my ankh to get the hedjet, but I haven't even beaten olmec yet and this is my best run ever. Hella money. I'ma just go for olmec.

I'm addicted to this game now. It's dope. Just wasted the ankh, but it was worth it cuz I blew a queen bee the fuck up and brought a shotgun to the tunnel man so I think I'll have the ice cave short cut up soon. Also got a free cape from the vampire.

Wow the ice caves were fuckin' trivial with the cape.

...10 HP wasted because I got crusehd by those things from mario.

Jesus these hard forts are annoying. So many damn ships just keep popping up and if you die all the ammo you had is lost but the fort and the ships come back at full health. Pretty damn cheap.

 
Yo what does it mean in Spelunky when the music is different at the start of a level? I looked around the whole level but didn't see anything different. It changed to like a slower paced song. Hope I didn't miss out on some secret by moving to the next level.

 
I tried downloading the Advanced Warfare patch a few hours ago, but nothing popped up when starting the game. Hopefully it'll be there with the Tuesday update.

 
So this was weird...had a story-related assassination mission. The target fell completely unaided off a cliff and into the freezing water below, but it didn't register that he died. He's just sinking into a bottomless pit, apparently, and I can see the distance to target getting higher as time goes by. I had to jump in the water and freeze to death to reset it. Not nice since there were like a million guys that respawned after the reload.

There are a couple different tracks for each area, but a music change doesn't indicate anything's different unless there's some flavor text at the beginning too: "I can't see a thing!" signals (albeit obviously) a dark level, "I hate snakes!" signals a dedicated snake pit, etc.

At the very least the location of the locked chest was different for me and there were probably other layout differences - the location of the chest is easiest to spot. Similarly on that day I killed the shopkeeper in 1-2 and Vig didn't, so it seems like that is the trigger.

This sucks and it's definitely going to need a game update to fix if they've even noticed it. I did just report it in the official forums and on twitter (not easy given character limitation). Hopefully they take note.

I'm not sure what to do about the tournament. Maybe this is how it's supposed to work, but I doubt it.

Most of us actually finish with a game and move on within a couple of weeks at most. Talking about a game a bit over that brief period is pretty different from talking about a game for what is literally months now.

 
Got new BF4 DLC on downloading while playing some Killzone MP.. Damn its so fun online. That icon in the top right telling you what challenge you're close to finishing is awesome. I played for hours yesterday trying to get challenges done.

 
FC4 (PC) apparently has some pretty bad framerate issues and doesn't load-balance on CPU cores well at all. Curious as to whether the console versions will have that same issue.

I think it was Tyler who said that the PC versions of Ubisoft games tend to be inferior to the console versions.

I was saying that it gave a small glimmer of hope that an HD remake is what the ESRB rating was for. But I was thinking of Suikoden 3 anyway, the one on PS2.

Novel idea, but people should skip/ignore what they don't want to read. I'll continue to say it, but the posts about other people's posts are easily the most insufferable. Go figure. And, yes, I still hate fucking Spelunky.

Headsup. GTAO profiles that have not logged in since 2013 are unable to transfer to current-gen at the moment. They're aware and looking into it. Haha, thankfully cap invited me to play ONCE earlier this year so I'm spared from this glitch. I'd be super annoyed right now otherwise.

Apparently it really is that bad on PS3/360. It doesn't help that the guy playing in that video doesn't appear to be very good at the game, either.
