I was afraid thats what they were aiming for when they announced the restrictions on trading or gifting a couple weeks back...came to see if there were any good winter sale deals and appears they cracked down on all cross region stuff, lame.

Couple of questions to throw into the room:

1.Can you still receive gifts from across the border without VPN?

2.Can you activate the gifts with a VPN?

3.Do you have to depend on the VPN in order to start the games after activation?

We can still work this out as long as they only thing that's locked is the activation.

Honestly, I think it's the best way to learn. I tried to have friends teach me many times, but the auto-tuning and playing along is pretty sick.

That being said, there was some frame lag and it isn't as arcadey as Rock Band guitar hero. I played it for a few days with some family, never thought about it again.

Not sure how much the cable goes for, but Amazon has the pc version available with the cable for $40. I wouldn't think a simple cable would cost $20, but figured I'd point this out anyways.

EDIT - E-bay actually has a few copies available for $35.

So I discovered WTF Is... by TotalBiscuit and realized I missed out on a few bundle games I'd really like to try. I have an *extremely* limited budget, so I figured this would be the place to ask (not to mention I haven't been active in quite). Lastly, I'm hoping to get at least 2 games per transaction, as I'm charged $0.37 from PayPal every time I have to use my credit card (which is always).

I have a much more reasonable Steam Wallet balance, so I would prefer that...

The Square bundle was before the FFXIII games started coming to PC.

SE has a sale going on their website right now. FFXIII is like $6. Not sure on XIII-2.
