This thread will attempt to provide a place to discuss past/present/future PC gaming deals. While mainly focusing on Steam games, any standout sales may also be presented. I will not be updating every Daily/Weekly/etc. sale. The tools to help individuals become a smarter shopper will be provided below.

Mine took about 15 minutes but eventually gave me a key.

Its always pending until the order is fulfilled. I just got my code 5 mins ago and Paypal is STILL pending. That wont switch for a while.

If your order history shows "Download Code" but has a blank white space, you're getting it.

Has anyone here actually tried WarMachine Tactics? It has been on my wishlist for a while, but the negative reviews have always scared me off. Has it gotten any better lately or is it still a mess?

Hmm... I had my GRID Autosport key by Friday. I'd seen "steve" the FSD rep on reddit saying for people to contact him if they still hadn't received their key. I haven't checked up on this since Friday. You need to login to FSD and check your order... they didn't email notify me.

 
So with all the talk about Gat Outta Hell, are we going to have another spirited discussion on the moral and ethical ramifications of taking advantage of glitched prices? I mean, GameStop just got "robbed" of millions of dollars of revenue because some evil criminals decided to take advantage of them in their moment (well actually 3-4 days) of weakness. Where is the justice?!?

I hope you weren't taking me seriously. No, I am not expecting anyone to buy the key from me. I mean, y'all are WELCOME to, but my post was in jest of the usual people trying to sell glitched games far over what they paid.

Try playing the game and switching your wings from the hub menu. It sounds like even people who pre-ordered on Steam aren't seeing the DLC in their library, but are reporting it in-game.

This is DLC. It's standalone because they'll get more people to buy it if it doesn't require the base game (SRIV) to purchase it. People expecting this to be the next full Saints Row need to tone their expectations down.

Like pretty much everyone else got Gat. Considering how long this ran and how widespread it was it makes Gamersgate sure look like cheap fucks. Of course they probably barely have two nickels or whatever the hell Swedish use to rub together whereas Gamestop has a shitton of console idiot money.

Oh and someone on reddit complained the code doesn't work in Europe, well no shit. People told them that from the beginning.

I saw a post where someone said they bitched to GS cs about having to wait and got a 20 off 20 coupon, but they also said they were on hold for 2 hours with escalation. Meh.

 
I love how there is a discussion a the steam group page and this guy called gamestop and said this i will also note that i told gamestop that this has been very stressful on me and is there any way she can compensate me for this situation.in return she gave me a 20 off 20 dollars or more coupon for gamestop , com

Thanks for the info! I might just have to contact this "steve" guy.

Yeah, I've been checking my order page at least once a day. Going straight to the source rather than waiting for something to be delivered is usually the best bet given my unfamiliarity with FSD.

I seriously have no idea how people get "compensated" like this when talking to customer support and I've had my share of butting heads with idiotic companies. Like do you have to be uncontrollably angry or seem suicidal or something?

I still haven't gotten my key and so I called up and they simply said they had to reprocess it with no level of sympathy whatsoever and definitely no "compensation" offered. And here I am, still waiting for them to "reprocess" it. What are these people doing differently?

You should ask Idiotekque, he was always claiming Amazon reps would throw money at him for no reason every time he had an issue. I'm with you, it never happens unless I outright ask for it. I guess I can try being like super bitchy and whiny and sounding like I might start crying, but usually it's not worth the time and effort.

I'm happy GS seems to be honoring these things. I haven't even touched SRIV or finished SRIII so I did the responsible thing and didn't order this. (I actually just assumed it was going to be canceled and didn't order it because of that, but it sounds better if I tell myself I was being responsible and I can also tell myself GooH might not be worthy of my Steam rose. You have to be special for me to open my legs add you to my Game Library).

My brother in law is apparently really good at getting free stuff and talking prices down, it definitely seems like there's an art to it. He prides himself on it. He also majored in business in college and works in some type of high range sales and has extreme economic views so it seems like he just gets off on that crap. To me it's not worth the hassle.
