Does anyone use the HP 25xi or 27xi monitors? If so, how good are they? I can't decide which size to get since they're both 1920x1080 and I've heard that's a pretty iffy resolution for 27 inch monitors.

I have the unbranded version of the 27xi. When sat next to my 27" 1080 HannsG (I know, not the greatest panel out there), the color depth of the IPS vs TN panel is night and day. Colors pop so much more and not in an unrealistic way, it just makes the TN panel seem washed out. Loved it when I got it. However, now that I have a 1440 27" IPS (Korean cheapy), I can't see going back to 27"/1080. I have the 27xi sitting next to my 1440 monitor and everything now looks grainy on the 1080 display.
 
I also own a 27" 1440p monitor and I can't imagine a 25/27" 1080p version of it. I used to have a 23" @ 1080p, and I even think it's bad now. Can't stand the lower resolution and just thinking of a bigger size with the same 1920x1080 resolution would be very blurry.

By the way, Gurumin cards are now available for drops. Start collecting.

I'd love to go 1440 if I can find a good enough deal. I'm on a single 24" Asus 1920x1080 right now and I'm finding the space to be pretty limited in regards to productivity. Ideally I'd love the 34" LG Ultrawide but that's a little out of my price range.

Fwiw, this is what I bought. I bought it on more of a whim and didn't really do much research, but have been pleased. It took 2 days to arrive.

Edit: When I bought it there were no reviews, but the current 1 egg reviews are hilarious.

Pretty much the same like all the other ones that came from ebay. I heard the Crossover have a slightly better stand. I got mine back in mid 2012 when the 27/30" 1440p monitor was all the talk. If I waited longer I would have bought one with a better stand. Fortunately, mine came with no backlight bleed, and just 1 dead pixel on the top far right which I actually forgot about.

 
I like The Coral Bundle, but you'd probably get sued for using Rick's or Carl's likeness in the graphic.

Unless you pull off a Jonny and draw them really badly.
