Fatality has graciously provided me with a copy of Bad Rats.

Now we just need Spoder to cough up his end and we'll have ourselves a good time.

So, ESO: Tamriel Unlimited is giving a Free Weekend to former Beta Testers like myself.

The game already took up (In Beta) some 40-something GB or so.

Now, it's downloading another 35 GB or so.

The splash page for ESO:TU is recommending 80 GB of open-space.
Are you telling me you beta tested a game months ago and didn't uninstall it?

just beat bloodborne. have to say minus the graphics it is actually the worse (relatively speaking) souls game.* there is just too much stripped away as far builds are concerned. they took away SO much of the meta. your leveling is almost irrelevant outside health and stamina(first impression, i am experimenting this playthough). eventhough From absolutely nailed the atmosphere the art direction gets kind of boring after awhile as this game suffers from 'darksiders 2 dungeon syndrome', meaning create an interesting asset and repeat it ad-nauseum (tombstones, statues etc...) taking away the impact of it. its difficultly is way overstated. if you already play the souls games without a shield you'll have no problems here and you can actually button mash a bit because of the heal mechanic. don't even get me started on the stuttery 30fps, it sucks period. literally makes my eyes hurt/boodshot (wonk). the load times are an embarassment to modern gaming even WITH A SSD. that said i still had a blast and am currently working through my second playtrough. i really hate that this gem is shackled to that limited hardware. but this game gives me great hope for dark souls 3 pc.

*vanilla DS2=8.8, BB=9, DS2+dlc=9.2 (i actually count off for performance issues as it affects my enjoyment of the game)

ps: sorry i'm late to the bloodborne discusion

pps: hardees=carls jr

ppps: have 2 hp laptops, both still work flawlessly. lucky>good.

Correct - I'm quite lazy.

If I do have a feeling that I will eventually buy the game sometime down the line - I won't uninstall it.
6 years from now when its 75% off.....smart

i get it though..downloading on dial up is a pain in the ass...

might be a good idea to use your 6 cd burners to copy it to those and install it when you buy it

I remember my confusion upon learning that there was an identical fast food chain to Hardee's back in 98 during a school trip with students about an hour and a half Northwest of where I lived. I couldn't figure out why you would call them by different names in such a close area. The company must have agreed because those locations became Hardee's.

<ycs> In other news there's a deal somewhere I dare not post :) <ycs>
What the fuck does "Carl's Jr." even mean, anyway? Doesn't Carl's son deserve his own identity? Jesus Christ Magoo, what the fuck does it all mean!?

Actually, I didn't expect the current Free Weekend trial - so, there's that too.

Keeping it installed saves me from doing a reinstall of 40-plus GB + then having to afterwards do the additional 35 GB download it's doing now.

Right now, just gotta continue w/ the 35GB download.

Surprised you didn't put another 6 in there.

Anyways, it's 2 DVD burners. You could at least get it right, for once.

Likely, if I do back it up way later - it won't go on DVD's. I have no interest of putting a 80GB game on a ridiculous number of DVD's. It'll go on my external.

yeah that 45 minutes while you eat dinner is precious

Five Guys is solid but too bland; Hardee's is surprisingly good; I can't remember if it was Carls or Jack in the Box when I was in El Paso but it was passable; and McDonald's is experimenting with all-day breakfast in San Diego and if it goes nationwide it's all over for me.

Word up. Any of my Steam bros played AC Unity, and do you think it runs okay? It seems most of the 2014 Ubisoft games have serious texture streaming issues on PC. Watch Dogs and FC4 for example.

Also, since we're on the subject of grease-induced comas, I moved to NM from CA in recent years, and I must say, this Whataburger chain is fantastic.
Whataburger can be really good. I like their fries too. Plus they were the first to use those cool little dip/squeeze ketchup packs. Bonus points.

It's the only thing I'll eat at McDonald's. As far as fast food goes, it's not the worst breakfast out there. I'm all in favor of 24/7 McDonald's breakfast availability.

The only McDonalds breakfast "food" I actually like are the McGriddle cakes (not the sandwich, just the little pancakes).

It might be that I just like pancakes though and any version of them are ok with me... well, that and the fact that they're the only type of pancake I can reliably eat  while driving (ie: not get all over myself since the "syrup" is built-in).

No joke, they always give so many fries that the bag is greasy as hell. I take it home for later even though reheated fries are pretty bad and the refrigerator shelf is always covered in grease when I pick up the bag.
Remember the first time I tried it (it was the first location they had nearby, might have been first in the state but can't remember), after about a five minute walk to the car the bottom of the bag was almost totally grease soaked. Did find out another time that if you are tipsy Five Guys taste 10x more amazing (probably even more if you actually get drunk).

Ugh, I can't eat anything from Jack in the Box. Some of the food is pretty decent, but walking into that place is a bit like walking into a Pizza Hut: I feel my heart constricting and my arteries hardening just from the airborne grease in the local atmosphere. I can't afford a gym membership to offset the consequences of that food.
The real artery hardening doesn't start til you've had a few tacos, pretty sure my habit of going there when craving fake tacos has already knocked about 20 years off my life.

Are you saying that their "tacos" aren't the most delicious thing in the world?? Cuz... well...um...I didn't think it was possible to have meat more fake than Taco Bell. But they did it.
Pfft they can use the fakest meat they want as long as they keep those bastards 2 for $1, and not taco bell's stupid $1.19 a taco or whatever BS.

McDonald's breakfast is half decent, used to get (now and then) a sausage mcmuffin and a hash brown, put the hash brown on the sausage and add ketchup.

Forgot the only other good thing on McD's menu: take a McDouble and a Hot n' Spicy chicken, put the Hot n' Spicy between the two patties and add ketchup to the top bun of the burger. That bastard could be a real colon cleanser some days, and pretty sure destroys your heart but damn it it tastes good! (and yes, know it has a name, figured err on the side of caution in actually using said name in case some report happy bastard is hanging around)

Yo!
There's weekly sale on G2A. :p Already bought sum games. Totally worth it!
{a link to garbage and false hope omitted}

Including: Dying Light, CS:GO, Pillars of Eternity and even more!
Of course steam keys. :)
Um, no. Pass.

No one in their right mind should click on that link. Your first three posts as a brand new member don't make this solicitation attempt to post a deal look any less sketchy. Nice job, good effort.

In case newbies are wondering why we're warning against G2A and similar sites on a regular basis, they're effectively re-sellers. Sure, you might well get a key that activates on your account without a hitch. But if it's been bought through dodgy channels (hello stolen credit card info!) then you can and will have the game removed from your account.

TL;DR - stay clear of re-seller sites. It's not worth the risk. Buy from a trusted vendor.

Five Guys is one of the better fast-food burger chains.

I think their fries are better than their actual burgers.

As far as actual burgers, there's plenty of worthwhile places in Massachusetts (which ain't fast food places, BTW) - such as RF O'Sullivan's; Boston Tavern; Fat Cat; and Stockholder's.

And that's just for starters.

I don't know where you live for the fries to be better than their burgers, but it must be faaaaaaaaaaar away from me. Around here, their fries are worse than most other fast food chains, but their burgers are great.
