Reading past the headline...

"The footage is posted in 720p, although developer CD Projekt Red has assured that the final Xbox One version of the game will run in 900p and 30 frames-per-second. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will run in 1080p and 30 frames-per-second on the PlayStation 4. If you're looking to grab the game on PC, check out its minimum requirements first."

How reliable are pre-orders at Gamestop.com for shipping bonus items? I went ahead and put in a pre-order for J-Stars since I had a giftcard and chose the free home delivery. Not worried about speed, just about actually getting the physical art book. GS pretty good about PO bonus items being shipped?

 
Personally, I've had better luck getting pre-order bonuses on my online orders than my in-store orders with GameStop. I don't recall ever not getting a pre-order bonus packed in with my shipment from .com.

I'm not meant to get this one.. Had one in the cart, submitted.. got the "please wait while we load the `verified by visa` page to confirm your purchase. It sat there for a minute and never loaded so I chose "choose another payment method" .. Go back and try to submit again and it's sold out.

If it anyone feels like selling for cost... Let me know
 
Anyone know how limited the FFX LE with steelbook would be? I thought about waiting for it to restock and wait for a price drop but neither are likely to happen
 
Wondering if Disney will try releasing another $180 CE for Infinity this year.  They didn't seem to do too hot with the Marvel ones, but I could see people wanting a stand of the Millennium Falcon or something more than an Ice Giant stand.

I'm also amazed that EA isnt going to try to do some moneygrubbing for Star Wars fans.  I'd think a $150 Battlefront has more pull than a $150 MMORPG CE.

didn't know about this. i've never participated in kickstarter before but this may be my 1st time. definitely want a traditional castlevania game. SOTN and COTM were 2 of my fav. side scroller game.

That's how I interpreted it, as well. They don't use the phrase "Backer-Exclusive Physical Copy", but "Backer Edition Physical Copy", so there should (hopefully) be regular physical copies sold at retail.

I was reading the FAQ on the Bloodstained Kickstarter and found this:

WHY IS THE DISC $60?

The Kickstarter edition of Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night won't be sold at retail. It comes in an exclusive slipcase and it's preloaded with backer-exclusive content—the Swordwhip, the only weapon powerful enough to unite Teams Sword and Whip, and a super-secret boss who you'll have to foil to earn it.

We know the Kickstarter edition won't be sold at retail, but that doesn't mean standard, bonus-less physical copies won't be available at retail.

True, It was early in the morning when I read it. Wouldn't make sense to not sell it at retail. Hopefully you guys will be able to snag it at a lesser price.

 
Some of the Bloodstained extras are pretty nice in the upper tiers though, that lapel pin really speaks to me. But the prices are a little steep, especially considering how far out the release will be.

It's an investment after-all, so that is the "catch" of it all. I'm sure these items will be super rare when it's all said and done, and if the game gets killer reviews, that will only boost there rarity. If I decide to pledge, this will for sure be my longest KS to date. The wait time isn't my issue, but if I actually want this game. I really just want the art book, but I may bite, I'm undecided currently.

I find it really painful to pre-order things that are a year out or more. The wait seems unbearable after you've already paid for something and you keep checking in on the status updates.  Kickstarter isn't even a pre-order either so KS def isn't for me.

The people investing in KS aren't doing it out of good will. It's just collectors trying to score some rare collectable shit that they think will be valuable down the road.  They aren't pledging out of the goodness of their hearts.

If you just want the game that is fine, but it sounds like there are a few Collector's Edition options through Kickstarter and I doubt this game will get a retail release of a CE. I may be wrong about this but it looks like if you want a physical CE copy of this game, you will likely have to get it through Kickstarter.

Same here. Best Buy currently has it up for preorder across various platforms, but has the developer acknowledged yet they are working on a physical copy? When BB first listed them I remember the developer saying that it wasn't in the works yet.

It's up on Ubisoft's store for pre-order and it's $120. Basically $20 more than the gold edition which is just the game and season pass.

 
Ubisoft puts about as much thought and originality into their Assassin's Creed CEs as as they do their game catalog itself.  

Every Ubisoft game: Tower climbing + Map Unfogging + Side Missions.  

Every AC CE: 9" statue + mini art book.

Which is really dumb. I have gone all digital this gen and so now I have to get a physical copy to get that content? Bogus.

 
Is it sad I like the base of the AC Syndicate statue more than the statue itself? Using railroad ties to make the AC logo is just outstanding.

the statue looks cheap, it seems like the statue with each assasin creed games that has came out has gotten worst.

 
For those (like me) who always want the "BEST" AC CE, here's what the Brits and EU get as the top-tier (so far) CE:

The futurepak and #'d lithograph are of particular noteworthiness
