They usually do an Ultimate Sale in July. Prices are no where near Steam Summer Sale but I usually buy a couple things from it.

My X360 has a 2TB Passport Ultra drive on it and that has also been working great.

 
I spent the last few months wishing for a decent Pneuma sale, and I finally got it. But the game fucking sucked. What a waste of $10. I didn't even bother getting the full 1000G. Got 950 and deleted that shit off my HD.

 
Was hoping that Sniper Elite III ultimate edition was like SR3 game of the year where you could install the dlc and it would work with the vanilla copies of the game, but unfortunately the vanilla Sniper III doesn't recognize the Ultmate DLC.

I have a question, although it may have been answered before: Is it possible to use a HD with my computer and the 360? I need to back up and reformat my laptop so it doesn't run like poop anymore, and I was looking at some of the externals that are a great price. If I were to format it to the 360 first, would it still be recognized on the laptop? And could I essentially partition the hard-drive so the 360 gets a certain amount of space and the rest is left for me to use with computers?

I know when I tried it with some 32 GB flash drives it didn't work. I'm not 100% sure on the larger hds but I world think not.

That's how i use my external drive...just make a separate 360 partition, format it to fat32 on your pc, and then plug it into the xbox. The 360 will use it's partition and you can still use the rest of the drive on your PC.

 
Oculus partnering with Xbox is an odd choice, though an obvious one as far as money goes. There's no way Xbone has enough horsepower for the really high-res visuals needed to have the experience be not shit. Worse, it sounds like they're basically touting it as a screen option instead of a TV, which is pointless, especially on a third-person game like Sunset Overdrive. Halo could work better but I very highly doubt it will have a mode designed for it, and FPS aren't VR's strong suit anyways. Forza is the only one I see working well with an in car view and probably with that car inspection mode, but I don't see them actually modifying the game to do so.

Really they seem to be brushing off the PC stuff like it's not the main focus. Stupid.

And I don't think many people asked for Darksiders 2.1. I don't think it tanked, but who cares at this point? 

As for E3, Spencer has said it's very game focused with a ton of first-party. I'd say these are good bets.

-Halo 5 campaign. Possibly more free DLC apology for MCC
-Gears 1 HD coming this year, teaser of new Gears game

-CoD bullshit

-Killer Instinct season 3

-Scalebound gameplay

Don't hold your breath, Oculus is still mainly for PC. The Xbox One doesn't have nearly enough GPU horsepower to properly drive one, so you can be pretty sure that using an Xbox with a Rift is going to be subpar. The article mainly talks about them shipping Xbox One controllers with a PC adapter with the Rift, just to use as a controller while using the Rift with the PC.

Lack of Scalebound sucks, but no big deal. I know I'm probably going to get it eventually if I do get a Bone.

I just keep forgetting about Tomb Raider, but yeah, timed-exclusive is getting some time for sure, kind of expecting it to have it's big show at Squeenix's conference. Maybe not though with all the big stuff that we already now about for them that could use the time.

 
I still don't understand why Gears of War Remaster would be released this year, when it's 10 year anniversary is next year. 

 
More games for the holiday, internal beta somewhat recently. I won't be surprised if it's next year either though, especially with Halo 5 in October.

 
Pretty disappointed that in ESO you can only play with people in same faction/alliance. I thought it was just for pvp, but looks like you can't even invite them to a group. They can join your guild though.

From what I gathered on reddit this is going to be more of a streaming from windows 10 version of the rift. When others brought up that you needed the GTX 980, someone said for streaming this won't be the case. A surface pro for instance would stream.

We'll see I guess.
 
I really really don't like ESO, I'm gonna trade it back in. The installation took forever and server issues marred the game (MMO launch day, I understand). The only MMOs I played before were Runescape and Phantasy Star Online when I was a kid. I would gladly play PSO right now than play this game. I found it, laggy, uninspiring, and boring. The story is uninteresting, the combat unsatisfying and the gameplay horrendous. I tried grouping up with a friend and the experience was horrible. We had trouble finding each other/teleporting to one another and completing missions together. When he accidentally hit a innocent, the guards demanded money. He didn't have enough so they killed him and each time he came back he still had his bounty, rinse and repeat. I came off of playing the Witcher 3, which is a masterpiece, to play this. I can't stand the game and will be glad to be rid of it. Looking forwarded to playing the port of Payday 2 next week though.

actually that is how the elder scroll skyrim game worked, ESO is basically skyrim multiplayer online.

I recommend this drive as well. I got one a few weeks ago, when the HD on my Xbox One was almost full, from Best Buy for $120. It was super easy to setup. Basically plug into your Xbox One, format, and go. I moved all of my games over to it. It has worked really well.

Updating or installing and updating? If just updating than disregard my post. But I had major issues installing and updating MCC. I had to delete multiple 50%+ installs and start over. I finally found out that disconnecting from the Internet, installing completely from the disc, and then reconnecting to the Internet to finish updating is the way to go for any new physical game installs. I had major issues with MKX at launch too until I remembered the above trick. Anyways like I said if this doesn't apply please disregard.

I somewhat enjoyed it, but by no means was I blown away. Without using a walkthrough, it's a few hours of entertainment. I felt OK about the $10 price point - at $20, though, it would have been a complete rip. Kind of a poor man's Portal, I guess. I would rather have a hit (and a bit of a miss) like this to shake things up than just be force fed endless remasters and regurgitated platformers.

Because Microsoft is aggressively trying to catch up to Sony. With a Gears remaster, Halo 5, Forza 6, and Tomb Raider all coming out this year, they should be able to make up some serious ground on their lag unless Sony shocks everyone with more exclusives this fall than expected (or significant other factors like aggressive pricing). It does, however, seem like Microsoft has a pretty strong lineup without Gears, so maybe it will be next year.

Can this be done with a Xbox 360 and Xbox One? I have them sitting next to each other and it would be nice to have additional HD space for both. Could I partition 2 GB worth of the drive for my 360 and have the remainder for my One with both plugged in at the same time?

I only have a Mac, no Windows PC, would that complicate the formatting process? I could probably borrow my GFs PC for the reformat if necessary though.

Installs on PS4 are really quick. Updates depends on the game, but you can at least pause them while the game downloads so you can prioritize the more important stuff first. I don't believe Xbox One offers that, so it tries to install/download the game and the update at the same time and that causes it to take way longer than it should.

As if better games would help selling more consoles in Europe/Japan... we all know that's Playstation land. Everytime I say I have an Xbox 360 they watch me like I just said i killed a baby or something like that :/

You have the option of updating while installing or after installing on the Xbox One.
