"Coupon has already been redeemed/used" is what I was just told as I tried to use it on the TRU exclusive Avengers Ultron set. I forgot to bring along my weekly ad that had a print version of the coupon, so I'll try again with that one tomorrow. Will the register automatically allow a pricematch plus the coupon plus the free Joker bumper car promo, or does the combination require a manual manager override?

Price match and coupon will require an override. Price match and the Joker bumper car will also require an override.

I agree. License sets normally aren't hard to find in the long run but it's better safe than sorry. The price is a little high for me.

Well it sold out pretty quick it seems...I have to get this, missed the preorder.

*EDIT* : Its back in stock for preorder as of 7:50 eastern time. And it sold out again minutes later...looks like theyve now removed it from the website.

I went to get it after it sold out, gone....I'm sure I'll be able to get somehow. TRU seems to be MSRP also at least.

*EDIT* Does Disney World have any deals ever on LEGO? I'll actually be there on the 1st.

Yeah, I'm not playing around with the Wall E set, preordered it as soon as I saw it on Amazon. One of my favorite Pixar movies and fell instantly in love with the set. Instant purchase.
 
Yeah, no messing with Wall-e.  I'll pre-order from whomever I can get one in with.  Unfortunately he's not even on amazon anymore.

Did Amazon show a release date?

Not in the stores operated by Disney in the parks and resorts. The 'deal' is sometimes not being marked up over MSRP.

The LEGO Store in Downtown Disney operates like a normal LEGO store, though, so any sales/specials/VIP perks would apply there. They also have a small section of clearance/damaged product. I have not been there in a while, because the parking situation has gotten beyond ridiculous - getting to the movie theater used to be simple, now it adds at least 30 minutes to travel time on a good day. It's crazy how long it is taking to get a parking garage functional.
 
My walmart totally took all lego sets off the shelves.  I found them on a different isle in large, unmarked cardboard boxes.  It was really weird.  Maybe inventory or something.  There was hardly anything left and it made me wonder if they marked down a bunch of them really cheap and I missed it.  I price-checked a couple of the sets I found and they were 50% off. 

Also, I got an email from Kmart saying that I had surprise points ($30 off a $45 purchase) and lego sets were not excluded so...thats what I used them on hah.

My Walmart was reorganizing everything. Found some decent deals.

If your an annual pass member to Disneyland you get 10% off, excludes exclusive/high dollar sets.

 
Just picked up the LEGO Spiderman Green Goblin set for $20 at WalMart....not bad.  It was $35 like 2 days ago on clearance.  

They had some Call of Duty Megabloks cheap also. A Zombie set for like $15 and another small/medium for like $5....some dog looking robot walker thing.  

Still had some LEGO Chima for average prices also.  Mammoth was $45.....some other Chima Lion roller thing was $30

Spiderman Green Goblin set - do you mean the Ultimate Spiderman Chopper Showdown, or the Lego Juniors Spiderman vs. Green Goblin (the one in the little plastic suitcase)? Because the latter is a brand new set, would love to get that at a discount for the classic Green Goblin fig.

 
Walmart is completely redoing their toy section so LEGO is being moved. Too much to list here besides 30 Creator Cafe and bike shops and that Ghost ship from SW was 55. I'd degustation going now. All the prices at my store were updated yesterday. The LEGO section was oddly set up and now a third of it is gone.

But I've noticed that JW sets have been restocked at both target and walmart but only the smallest ones.

I would like a Creator Bike Set for the kids...I have a bunch of sets in a box, just need a bigger place.

My Walmart is having their big summer toy clearance. Prices are terrible right now, so hopefully they drop a little more before they disappear.

Prices terrible at Walmart you say? I don't believe it. Who doesn't love saving a whole 2-5¢ off MSRP on most things, and don't get me started on those incredible rollbacks! Then again, I've seen Target "clearance" mark offs of a whole 1¢, or mark offs based off the "new" regular price above MSRP (take the recent Milano pricing shenanigans for example).
 
Amazon. Target. S@H. All have the Exo suit on sale for 20% off. I bought mine from Target for $28.75 or something after tax.

And Wall-e will only be $50.

Debating about getting a second one. I picked up one from the Warehouse in pretty bad condition a while back. Might be good to stash one away for a while....seems like the CUUSO always appreciate in value.

 
Exo-suit has been listed as retiring soon for almost 6 months (it listed on the site that is was to be "decommissioned on 2-28-15). The date came and went and it stayed. I love the set personally, but it is not one I expect to grow very much. Of course now that I said it, it will be grow big time.

 
The Buckhead TRU is closing in Atlanta but was picked clean when I was there. Apparently people were happy to buy things at 20% off which I was told was when everything was getting scooped up. Only thing left was the Fire Temple but at 129.99 was going to have to be more than 50% off to be a good deal imo.

Should I get Emmet's mech for $40? I don't own a single Lego movie set, I always thought this was the second best right behind the spaceship.
 
I didn't get it since I never picked up the theme. I saw the big fairy set for $60 at Walmart, my daughter doesn't show much interest in the that theme.

I'd switch the order of the Sea Cow and Benny's. The Sea Cow may be the best set I own. It has the best mix of playability, detail, and build fun of all the modular buildings with the haunted house as a close second.

I like the mech but was disappointed in it's lack of posability and stability. I bet there is a great mod out there if you have the right pieces but out of the box it has issues.

I had mostly Lego space pieces growing up, and no Pirates sets, so I might be biased towards Benny's Spaceship. I still have about 15 of those old space minifigs.

I should have sent you a PM--I got in on it last week and bought a couple of Technics sets that were decent deals because they don't have a TRU Tax on the prices. I bought the Arctic Truck + the CITY Space Starter Set at 20% off and the Technics Bulldozer at 30% off.

Is it pretty much cleaned out now?

This was at a Walmart, this walmart is going to relocate to a newer store soon, they had some wierd clearance going on.

 
I picked up arctic base camp 60036 for 45 at Walmart in Lockport NY.
They also had ariels magical kiss for 15.
A lot of others toys were on Clearance. I haven't seen the aisle that full in a while.

I still have them thanks to my grandmother who put them all in old bed comforter bags. I have a box of a hundred spacemen and a few Galaxy Explorers, space stations, and a dozen other random 80's space stuff. Then I have a few stranglers from the 90's (space police, blacktron, etc.) . Benny was very personal to me for sure and the homage was huge I just ultimately thought the seacow was a real flagship set for Lego as a whole.

Yep, it looks like a Goodwill now. There's a decent amount of games and infinity at 30% off (matching Best Buy's infinity sale lol) but otherwise the place is 3/4 empty.
