What kind of Euro-hipster shit is that?

Also I can't purchase is because in 'Murica there's no 21st month. :p

At full price???
If you buy right now you get 2 for 1!

I was actually quite interested in Flock, even if it's just like an Evolve/Damned type rip off. But last time I bought one of those games that would only be playable for a certain amount of time (Missing and the Sequel) I never got around to finishing them so it was just wasted money.

Buying games at full price report:

Velocity2X: Sonybabbies (Again I wish we had THAT word filter back...) will remember this combo shmup/platforming game... but it's not really a shump or a platformer so much as it is a gotta go fast get all the things game that most of the time is played as though you're a ship but the rest as a girl platforming. Memorization and speedrunning are the key. It's beautiful, runs great, but... the appeal is speed. And the price is too damn high when you have Fractured Soul, a much more manageable game that manages to fill the speedy niche and provide interesting platforming at the same time even if you aren't into constant repetition. Still, the mechanics are solid and the sense of speed is great even if you aren't some speedrunning meth addict. But it's still memorization central.

Recommendation: Bundle that shit.

Super Mega Baseball Extra Innings Edition: One again the Sonyinjas are familiar with this. Look again at it if you passed it over for the goofy graphics. If there is any justice, this will be THE baseball game for the foreseeable future. It looks cartoony but this is real baseball, fun baseball. All the gameplay bits work extremely well and the 0-99 difficulty scale means it will scale to the level of just about any player. At 20, the batting crosshair tracks the ball almost automatically and fielders will handle the fiddly positioning more or less themselves. Plays like a dream.

Recommendation: Buy it for full re-- I mean bundle that shit.

Curses N Chaos: You'll all be sleeping on this cuz it don't look like anything special and, you're right, it isn't. You and maybe a bro leap around a screen punching things like you're in Bubble Bobble or some early one room arcade game. But even solo the gameplay is still addicting and quite tight.

Recommendation: Bundle that shit.

If anyone is missing Mafia 2 PC base-game and don't mind a retail box (game requires Steam on PC period anyways, so take key and activate it up on Steam) - go call your local GameStop anyways.

It might be very hard to find - i.e. Divinity OS hard find at WalMart.

Mafia 2 PC base-game retail box @ GameStop -> 97 cents:

TL;DR: BUNDLE THAT SHIT!.. i mean those shitS!

Here's what makes M2 work - atmosphere, character development, great storytelling, very cinematic experience, really good narrative, and good action.
I experienced none of that, except maybe the action.

EDIT: I'll recant a portion of the above. The actual missions were mostly enjoyable, but all the in-between bits just drug on and on, it felt like. Arduous is being too nice. It felt like a poor foreign interpretation of mafia films. If you could just fast forward to the gunplay or chases or stealthy stuff, I'd favor it much more.

And now for something completely different.  See if you can guess what these 3 games have in common:

Besiege
Cities: Skylines
Lego Worlds

Give up?  Gaben recommended them to me today:
Since you recently viewed Rocksmith® 2014 – Queensrÿche - “Silent Lucidity”

I seriously want to see the magic/logic/brainwave scanner they're using to come up with those connections I would have NEVER made on my own.  I feel like I don't even know myself anymore.  Get out of my head Gaben!

"If you open your mind to me, you won't rely on open eyes to see"
Queensrÿche (or was it really Gaben?)

Mafia 2 has been sitting in my backlog for..... However long it's been since it was bundled. I think I played the demo on PS3 and liked what I saw, but not enough to stop playing whichever online game was popular at the time on consoles. Maybe one of those Cowl of Doodie games. Blergh.

Even though you didn't finish M2 - you had to at least experience some of the plot, story, and character development...since this game does spend a decent amount of time on that stuff.

It also helps if you finish the first Mafia, since it does connect itself to it a little bit.

I figure most of us have Mafia II already since GreenManGaming gave away copies by the truckload during one of their Golden Joystick Award events.

At one point Gamefly (before they got sold and totally sucked) was giving it away too as a free with purchase sort of deal.

If only the first Mafia didn't have the single worst user interface I've had to deal with on a PC game, ever.

... And it was 80% off fairly recently on Steam, too. Wonder if they had the sale on purpose...

I'm only missing the Mafia 2 DLC's on Steam.

Seems like most digital stores pulled Mafia 2 + its DLC's already.

So does anyone actually play ARK: SE here?

If so, is it good?

oops, almost forgot.  INB4 "bundle fodder" in 2 years.

In other news I just bought an Arkham Knight NVidia code off someone at Reddit for $8.

I'm not sure why I couldn't resist at that price. Now to wait for the season pass to hit $5.

Waiting until October when Bethesda announces the PC specs for Fallout 4.  Tempted to pre order but I also have not heard if there is going to be a season pass.  We know how Bethesda loves DLC.

Because that's extremely cheap for a very recent title.

It's certainly worth that.

I have little to no intention of actually playing Payday 2, but I want it. Is now the time to buy the GoTY edition? BTW don't answer my question.
You can probably find my previous posts about Payday 2, but in a nutshell, only fun if you have 3 other people you can play with regularly. The GOTY doesn't include all the DLC, or the tons of future DLC to be released, but it contains enough content for 4 friends to have many hours of fun. If you stagger your re-leveling, you can pretty much plow through them in no time.

My friends or the DLC? Sicko

GMG is having an Indie Summer sale. One of the highlights of Day 1 is the Untold Legends DLC for Blackguards is 89c. The 20% off coupon most likely works with it too.

If you love Blackguards as much as I do, then you're a liar. If you love it half as much as I do then you'll probably want to pick it up.

... why didn't they just release this as DLC for the game, then? All they did with this is fragment the multiplayer community. :|
Because more money in a separate release. I guess this is why they bundled it?

I'll be damned. Shoprunner really know how to keep it's members.

Start a free 30 day membership.

Try to cancel and get offered an extended 90 days.

Use it just 3 times in those 90 days and get a year free...

And I thought this day was going to suck.
You missed out. A bunch of us just kept getting it free year after year. I am tempted to see if I can start another free membership and do this though.

This sounds like a great night so far.

Cheaplikeafox: Vote for Pedro

juanjava: chess, Pedro es el hombre!

Tomasety: dios mio

drabe: W...what the f- fuck...*hic*...are you sayin' *passes out*

*spoder spoders drabe's character*

Foxhack: jajajajaja

Basically, you guys will be playing a building simulator with a bunch of Hispanic people.
A Hispanic party? And I wasn't invited?? Thanks a lot spoder!

I can help spoderman I guess.

It was free for those who helped traders to open 4 packs, back before the big region locked around Novemeber 2014.

Obviously not GOTY, just base game, so at least you can feel better.
Yeah, I got in on this too. The only reason I don't mind that I didn't wait for the GotY.

This game is currently in Season/Year 2 of DLC (first season's wrapped up, got all their MSRPs discounted, and thrown in the GotY edition), and I expect the same thing will happen when they finish with this season. Iirc, they have at least another year of DLC planned after this one too.

If you have it already absolutely cannot wait for extra DLC to play, just get the heist and Gage bundles, and buy the Holiday and main soundtracks and Clover Character Pack separately (Clover was bundled so you might even already have it), and you'll have everything in the GotY.

Supposedly there's a relatively simple way to get access to the DLCs for free to play with others online, but I'll leave finding out how up to you.

PayDay 2 has more DLC than friggin' Magicka, and they seem pretty happy releasing new DLC for it often, so don't expect a proper GOTY release with all DLC anytime soon.

The current GOTY only has 14 DLCs out of the total 25, and that's not counting the 9 "free" DLCs.
Yeah, it's going to be much worse than Magicka by the time it's done. Not Train Simulator bad, but still pretty bad.

Glad I bought all dat Mafia 2 DLC, including the russian exclusive one!

Good news about the Risen 3 update.

If you haven't bought it the game yet or you are planning to do it, you don't need to buy the complete version.
Just the plain version which is on sale.

It seems buying the normal version, which is the cheapest, grants you automaticatly with all the DLCs, so you cansave some money.

Some people have reported they got it free, whether this is intentional or not, I don't know
An update on this: Deep Silver removed the DLCs. And it turns out that if you played the game during this period... you're boned because you need to buy the DLC to keep playing. The save games won't load without the DLC being present in your account. Lovely.

I don't understand the Mafia 2 love. Played until you go to prison and that was enough tedium for me.
Either you like it or you don't. I enjoyed it a lot but, if you're not into it, then things like a bunch of driving around gets old in a hurry. Also, it really needs to be played through as a plot-based game, not an open world crime game since there's very little to do outside the plot except cruise around and maybe rob the handful of clothing stores and restaurants.

Glad I bought all dat Mafia 2 DLC, including the russian exclusive one!
I think Jimmy's Vendetta became open for US purchases a while ago. I thought I'd missed out on the clothing/car DLC packs but I must have gotten drunk one night during a Summer/Winter Sale and bought them all.

Jimmy's Vendetta is not the same DLC as The Betrayal of Jimmy (the Russian / PS3 / Mac exclusive DLC.)

Huhm whaddaya know?  I own Betrayal of Jimmy but NOT Vendetta.  I wasn't really impressed with Betrayal so I guess that's why I never got Vendetta.  Or else I never realized that they were two separate products.

Mafia II wasn't really a game that lent itself to an "arcade action" DLC with leaderboards and crap.

You can still get the two main Mafia II DLCs from Amazon (Jimmy's Vendetta, Joe's Adventure) if, for some reason, you wanted them badly enough to pay $10 each.
