Wait, people buy games from Origin? I thought the only reason to use it was to redeem cheap keys and get free crap each month.

I just played Dead Space, and it was pretty good. I enjoyed the supposed jump-scares, even though some are predictable and I was already aiming at where the mutants dropped. Story is good. I have a feeling that the series becomes too convoluted, however; I watched Dead Space Aftermath on Netflix before playing the game, and the movie sucked hard. I also played that stupid puzzle game where you have to connect the circuits, and the story sucked in that too. Here's hoping Dead Space 2 isn't awful.
Dead Space 2 and three are solid games, but the first was the most enjoyable for me. Largely more of the same in the sequels with a few tweaks and different settings.

dead space 2 had a great location and better enemies. Best game of the series. DS3 had a cool weapon system. Whole series is worth playin
Though, I think DS1+2 did a better job w/ the horror elements.

DS3 was good, but it felt way more of an action game. Weapon-building system rocked, though.

I noticed The Park is cheaper in Putinland GG by a few bucks so I decided to pre-order using some leftover BC I had. I only get the gift option for the game and no show key option. Game was originally scheduled for release today but was pushed back to the 27th. It's really short apparently but you get some chipmunk outfit for The Secret World if you pre-order and you get back like .50 in BC for pre-ordering. Will keep you guys updated whenever the keys show up.
I did the same. We can be sad together.

it will show up in some bundlestars bundle that you wont buy

then you will post in the cess pool how you want all the games from the bundle

then the sun comes up and goes down
And then you reply w/ a typical Drabe-response to a typical MysterD post.

And then the sun comes up and goes down again.

Creatures of habit will indeed be creatures of habit.

i answered your question other than the date that nobody could answer....so why ask it.

The least you could do is say thank you.

say thank you

Is there still any way to get Vermintide from GamersGate for cheap? A friend wants it and the prices don't update from USD to anything else after firing up a VPN and I had a bunch of blue coins to pick it up for her with.

You have to clear cookies or the prices won't change.

Also do it while you are logged out, add the game to the basket, disable or delete the VPN then login.the price will stay and you can buy in BC.

anything good at Putinland? working late and cant really check VPN
Not really. There's a bunch of Stardock DLC at about 50 cents. If you've been holding out for that, it's probably the cheapest you'll ever get it but otherwise the new sales are eh even the Putin-esca ones.

And then you have to fly to the Russian Office Max and turn in your Super Putin Crisp box tops and trade in the some KremlinStop POGs...

Oh yeah bros, don't forget Left 4 Dead is tonight at 10:00 PM ET.  I know a whole bunch of you have been jonesing to get your fist up in that.  I was going to attempt to join, but my mobile carrier sent me a friendly reminder today that I have exceeded my "high speed" data allotment for the month and will now be throttled to low speed data for the remainder of the month.

so no organized Rat hunt? booo

I always do my Putinescaing using a new incognito tab. It clears my cookies for me.
That's probably a better way to do it but if you use a browser plugin vpn they won't work with incognito mode.

Why the hell is this news? I'm sorry but if you are a PC gamer in 2015 and you have shit internet then just GTFO and go to consoles.

Instead of getting mad at the pubs, you guys need to get mad at yourself for making them waste so much paper and material to put a steam code into a silly box.  When the environment dies it it will be all your fault.

If you bought a game at retail b/c say you had to have it all in the box for whatever reason or you bought it dirt-cheap, wouldn't you want the entire game you purchased in the box?

Not everybody has fast Internet connections; and not everybody unlimited data downloaded caps.

It might not effect me or you, but it might effect others.

This only effects people who game from the library. If this effects you and you live in the US. Get a job.

If you live in a 3rd world country. Hahahahahhaahha.

I might have been nicer about it, but yeah, this ^

I'm surprised. Aren't you surprised? This is super surprising new to me.

I mean, just, wow. Wow.
There's no reason for console games to ship in-full on BR disc(s) - yet PC games still ship on the ancient DVD format on multiple discs or the game doesn't ship w/ all the files in-the-box. That's just plain silly.

I don't care what PC uses for a format at retail - BR discs, thumb-drives, or anything that they can come up w/ that can handle a full actual game; they have to come up w/ something better than DVD-format for huge-sized games like GTA5 or Fallout 4.

There's just got to be some kind of solution, if these companies are going to actually ship PC-gaming retail-boxes to actual retail-stores. They might as well not even ship PC retail boxes, if they're going to keep this non-sense up.

That's the best solution. For the US at least. Other countries can still have them if they need.

The only other suggestion I have is at these stores selling PC games that are huge-sized - they have some kind of PC kiosks set-up there that have the retail game-files stores on them; and it can cut the game onto BR-discs, DVD-discs, thumb-drive, or whatever if you need them to for some kind of additional fee.

I prefer big ass files. Only because eventually all this online streaming and gaming will force the evil internet industry to do away with those stupid bandwidth caps and speed limits. The death of the cable industry is the best thing that could happen from all this.

I can honestly say the few times I have bought things in a box I just activate the code and don't even mess with installing off of discs.

I'd rather just install the most current version of the game from the get go than install some old ass version and then have to patch on top of it.

Blu Ray drives aren't commonplace on PCs so if they put the full game on those people would bitch about that too.

Even if someone gets the full game on disc for these big AAA games if they have shit internet they just aren't going to have a good time with it. The patches on some of these games can be 5, 10, even 20 GB.

Then again the crew bitching about not having the game on disc would probably be the same ones outraged over mandatory patches. 'How dare they force fixes to our game upon us and try to get everyone on the same page so they don't have to provide support for 20 different versions! '

I'm sure we'll be rat hunting soon enough. I'm missing L4D2 night because my kid is sick so I'm in regular-AFK mode this evening. Sucks because I was among those jonesing for some L4D2 CAG multiplayer. Probably, you know, sucks worse for my sick kid though.

Lol boxes. What is this, the 1990's?
Well there's Blizzard who rarely have digital sales and only sell digitally through themselves and not through other stores.

They forced me to have to get a damned box for D3 like a console peasant.

But other than that, yeah boxes are like totally SO last century. DUH.

You and I don't mind doing the downloads b/c we have decent connections and don't want to install from 25 DVD discs (if the game has that kind of file-size). We have that luxury.

Also, about BR becoming PC format - never got adopted namely b/c digital downloads took off; especially in USA. Plus, I'd doubt Microsoft wants to fully be behind a Sony format more than they need to be.

Hell, even PC retail just resurrected + adopted HD-DVD format just for basically storing PC games on those discs supporting 15GB maximum per layer (that'd be 30GB if dual-layered) would be better than the age-old normal DVD format (4.5 GB per layer). I doubt HD-DVD drives + blank-discs would be as pricey as BR-drives + BR blank discs.

If they're going to retail PC games, they should just put the download key in a cardboard sleeve or something so there's fewer illusions about it containing discs, manual, etc like in the olden days.  I get WHY they do a retail version -- they still want grandma to be able to buy it from Walmart for Little Billy's birthday.  But, yeah, your internet speed isn't really of much concern to the game publishers.

Well, the other thing w/ Blizzard is retailers often have better deals on Blizzard games than Blizzard's digital store does itself. Especially even more so true on newer titles.

You know Grandma wouldn't pick the right damned game anyway. She'd get Billy some Hidden Objection Big Fish game.

Just buy billy a god damned Steam wallet card and call it good unless you want him to give you the ugly sweater gift face.
