I really want that dumbass pixel pizza game but I literally have every other game and I know some dirty foreigners will still them all at 3am my time when in 5 seconds when they get posted to Tremor. ugh.

If anything, Hatred will sell out fast on Tremor but I doubt Pizza Express will.

 
Yep. I bought some, anyway. PM me if you want one for $1.70.

I tried playing Hatred with a controller the other day, and it wasn't very good. The buttons are by default more logical than the keyboard configuration, mouse and keyboard offers better aiming, which is weird since it's essentially a twin-stick shooter.

I'm using a genuine 360 pad and I agree with him. The aiming sucks with the sticks since you can't really tell where you're pointing because your character is so tiny.

On the other hand, having shift be "run" can get very annoying, and you have to have a head start to jump over fences and through windows - you can't just skip over them. That's probably the bit that annoys me the most about the game's design. So far.

What about the soundtrack? Or the VRAMs? Or the hard drive space it takes up?

Yeah, distance is a huge problem. Your aiming reticle is too short and the cop AI is very accurate. You're likely to die whenever you're inside a building or next to a fence since the character is floaty and gets stuck often. I almost finished the first level, but about 40 cops were chasing me through town. The end-of-level mission was to go kill everyone at the police station, and I assumed they were all chasing me so nobody would be there. I ran in and about 30 more cops were hiding behind cover shooting me. I was at full health and died in half a second.

I can see why the game has been bundled three or four times in the past few months. It's not even close to Alien Swarm or the Alien Breed games.

Grenades or molotovs really help clear out enemies (and victims) that are in closed spaces. If you complete some of the additional objectives for the level (killing people at specific locations) you can get additional ammo and grenades.

And if you thought the police station was bad, just wait until you reach the train yard. You get swarmed by 30 heavily armed and armored SOLDIERS at the same time, and one of them is in a SWAT tank! It gets really tough, but running away and shooting at them from a distance helps.

I know, right? All this talk about game mechanics and plot lately is making me really uncomfortable.

And that's without even taking into consideration all the crossposting from Reddit going on. :puke:

The (few) pictures seen of that Pizza game reminds me of Pressure Cooker. Thinking about getting it for that and OFDP, since I've somehow missed the bundles that'd been in.

Yeah, don't bother with those splits. The people that manage to get it sit there F5ing all day for one shitty bundle game. Even I haven't managed to get it. Tremor's still your best bet.

 
Damn if you're complaining about people sitting on the computer all day F5ing to get something before anyone else does they must be hard core. ;-)

I think they live on the internet. AI has advanced enough that it's taking all of the good shit in bundle splits

Pinkgun made some really cryptic comment about people who bought that AJ Titty Tilley Slice of Life visual novel might want to apply for a refund soon last night. I was thinking today's IG Monday or maybe Poopees but truthfully I have no idear.
