PSNOT 3.0 - Let's Talk About University of Kentucky, Baby!

Disgusting. Awful, awful football.

Ben better be near 100% for them to even put up a fight against the Broncos. Would have rather seen Patriots/Bengals and Chiefs/Broncos.

Just remember what Sam Wyche said..."You don't live in Cleveland you live in Cincinnati!"

Stay classy Cincy.

I guess I wouldn't mind the chiefs making a run. If the pats are still banged up still they have a chance, than anything goes in a division game against the broncos.

I'm trying, but I keep getting stuck on the loading screen. For whatever reason, my game quit on me suddenly while I was waiting for another posse invite.
Try starting up single player, then joining an online private lobby, then accept our invite to our public room.

I lost all my mp progress once when I got the never ending loading screen. Man someone lied to me when they told me they fixed the servers after all those other servers were shut down. Sounds like you are experiencing all the same crap that I did.

A burfect ending for the Bengals.

(I stole that)
It really is fun to watch other teams collapse instead of the one you cheer for.

Anyone up for a little bit of Rocket League? I want to see how much more fun it is with people I know instead of randoms kicking my ass.

I posted this in the book club But I'm not sure how that works yet and if we get notifications or if anyone will even talk in there.

How about Ready Player One? It's a pretty short book. Sort of video game themed, and should serve as a good starting off point. Unless of course I'm the only one who hasn't read it yet. Spielberg is making it into a movie, so I keep telling myself to start reading it before the film comes out.
I read it last month, or rather listened to the audio book while traveling. I enjoyed it and will definitely go see the movie when it comes out. I think it's a perfect book for fans of pop culture/the 80s/video games. I even started his 2nd book Armada after it. That should be a great selection if y'all wanna go video game themed.

Could you resend the invite? I accidentally accepted it in single-player and got another endless loading screen. I'm in an online private lobby now.

Yeah, well, now my wife is freaking out. She sees all those Cinci fans and their agony and now she is nervous that it would just figure the Hawks will lose on some crazy shit like that.

Earlier she was happy they were going to win once I told her about their playoff impotence.

Even if the exact same thing happened tomorrow to the Seahawks, it wouldn't be remotely the same as it happening to the Bengals (and Bengals fans) tonight.

Shipwreck going from excitement to misery.

I read Ready Player One a couple years ago. Agree with all the praise.

Finished off Armada a couple months ago too. Not as good as RP1, but still very enjoyable and right up the alley of any one in here.

I'm currently re-reading the first Dark Tower book (The Gunslinger) for the third time because the lady is reading them all for the first time. I'm gonna try to keep up with her and read them in sequence.

Also need to finish American Gods by Neil Gaimen, which I've state and stopped midway through twice now.

I'll play for a little while, I'll be online in a few mins.

LOL "Jerry Porter". He was a receiver for the Raiders. He means "Joey Porter", the former Steelers LB who is now a coach.

I wanna read American Gods. Might pick that up soon.

Anybody here still play Helldivers?
I was thinking of starting it tonight.

Thanks to everyone who helped with the RDR posse trophy. Based on the invisible-player issue and endless loading screens (both to start online free-roam and matches) I encountered, I can see why the MP isn't so highly regarded anymore.

Good Rocket League tonight. Had 6 players basically the whole night which made for good even teams without the crappy AI having to fill in a slot.

Regarding Alienation (UK release date):

Since that's a Wednesday, I suspect we'll get it the day before.

Yeah thanks guys, that was fun. I'm sure you all got tired of me scoring goals and winning MVP every match but you guys did pretty good yourselves. Also wanna give a shoutout to Myrtle!

So after we got all the posse trophies done and people tried to do the consecutive wins trophies and everyone else gave up and quit due to all the glitches I think Bum's and I figured out the sequence.

At the start of the session everyone boot up in single player and then join their own private free roam from the start->multiplayer menu. Then the one leading the session invites friends to their private free roam by pressing select->R1->triangle. Once in the private free roam posse up until everyone in the session is in the posse and then the posse leader selects move to public free roam. This pulls everyone to the same public server in one move.

Then the posse leader moves to a town like Chuparosa or Armadillo which has gang and free-for all matches and walks over and selects one of the two signs, this should create your own game lobby. If you join a game via the select menu that will match you with an existing game. When the posse leader picks a sign, that will pull the entire posse into the same game lobby.

Using that sequence we were able to get together in a gang match lobby and a free for all lobby and both get enough consecutive wins for the two trophies. Though later when we tried to use that method to get Bums 10 assists on a single hideout in a public game we kept joining but one or the other was invisible to each other so the above method either works or we were just lucky 3 times in a row (we lost connection and had to restart during the FFA section). The servers we connected to were full of players so that might have also been the problem. Smaller population = fewer glitches.

On the Gang Match (team play) those in a posse will all be on the same side, so once you enter the lobby you will have to split off and form two posses otherwise you can't start the match as no one is on the other team. You don't want to dissolve the posse, because this will shuffle the teams after every match making it so only one person can go for the trophy at a time. With 2 posses the teams will stay the same for every match so you'll only have to play 8 games for everyone to get the trophy. Once everyone has the team trophy, reform the posse and then have the posse leader exit to free roam if you still have the free for all matches to do.

I also added this information to the multiplayer trophy guide blog post.

RDR vanilla multiplayer 100%

Yeah, I'd love to replay RDR, but screw all those glitchy servers  Hopefully we get a remaster, although it will probably never happen.

Yep, thanks everyone. It took a little over an hour for everyone to get their posse trophy, but patience paid off. A shout out to Munky and Velo's wife for joining the group when we needed an extra couple people.

awesome news that alienation will be here soon.

rdr remaster would be an instabuy.

the man in high castle is getting weird.

I like ffx-2, it's great.

a lot of grinding left for that diablo plat.

I read madchemist's post as 'munky and velo's (shared) wife' and got super confused.
