PSNOT 3.0 - Let's Talk About University of Kentucky, Baby!

I wanted to go to the one in Atlanta when I was down there a couple years ago, but we didn't have time. I've heard it's a pretty good one.
It is worth spending a few hours in for sure. It is usually so god damn crowded though that it pisses me off.

I really like the zoo here better because you do not seem like you are always about to be trampled by the mob of people. The silverback exhibit is awesome during feeding time.

There's a Ripley's museum in Ocean City, Maryland, but I've never been to it. We have a great science museum in Baltimore: the Maryland Science Center in the Inner Harbor. I'm always surprised at how good it is. There's tons to see and do, especially with kids.

I signed up for that Division beta. Why not? Well, I hate having Beta's in my library, but maybe this will be worth it. Hopefully they send out the codes early so we can download ahead of time.

EDIT: and just got an email with the download code. Queued it up and it's downloading....
Did you just sign up today? Had a friend that was going to try, but he was saying he had to register by yesterday.

As far as I can tell, that Mega Man collectors edition with the statue is not eligible for the 20% off with Prime even though it's a pre-order. I'm not interested in this, but that's some bullshit.

I was thinking that after we finish season 2 of Agents of Shield on Netflix, I could sign up for Hulu Plus to watch season 3, but is it right that Hulu only gives you access to the last 5 episodes? If so, so much for that idea unless we're willing to skip a bunch of episodes. Or am I reading that wrong?

What is available on hulu depends on the show. Some shows have only the most recent 5 episodes of the current season (or all available episodes), some have only previous seasons, some have both. A friend of mine finished watching season one of Flash on netflix, then saw episode 2 of the second season was on hulu, so they just bit the bullet and bought the first episode on google thinking they'd be able to see the rest on hulu. It turned out hulu had episodes 2, 3, 4, 5, and 8 or something weird. I'd never seen that before.

What you actually care about: even a paid subscription to hulu only has episodes 6-10 of the third season of Agents of Shield right now.

TL:DR

Hulu sucks.

Hulu is $8 a month and that's way cheaper than any cable option.

Also, fun trick I learned is that when you go to cancel your Hulu subscription, they give you one of those wait don't go deals for a month free. I haven't actually paid for Hulu since about July.

Cheaper doesnt necessarily constitute better.

I caved so hard and bought a tiny piece of plastic off of ebay for $30 in the form of a Vita slim cradle. Just search PCHJ-15019 if you are actually looking for one and are willing to be duped like I was.

The newer DS4s are superior. No sticky bumpers and the rubber on the analogs seem to not be a problem. Launch ones suck.
the shoulders seem to be a harder shiner plastic and the rubber is alot tougher and rougher on the analog sticks, it is great and no problems. the black one still works but it is now my sons controller cuz he moves and drops it etc so much. i can't complain tho cuz i had that controller for months before i had a ps4 due to some amazon tradein ds4 deal so not like i paid full price. even the red and blue new ones were cheap, 27 with that jet deal and some amazon warehouse deal. crazy they are so expensive usually

Yeah you're right. Cable is better. I mean having the last 5 episodes available of a show sucks. I like the cable option where if it airs and I miss it, I have to wait a month or two for that network to maybe replay the episode. Or if I feel like shelling out $5-10 more I can access the last 5 episodes on demand. Or if my pockets are really deep, I'll throw $15-20 at my cable company and get a DVR! Those are all better options than $8 a month.

I've got no beef with Hulu.  It's made for people who want to stay current with shows.  If you just want to binge them, wait for the season to end.  If you came to the show late and now need to watch everything RIGHT NOW, then pay your $3/episode late fee on Amazon or Apple or something.

Yea paying 8 dollars or so more a month to have a dvr is a way better option to me anyways.

I did not know Hulu only had the 5 most recent episodes of most shows.

Hulu sounds like a waste of time and money.

Hulu is actually pretty nice. Granted it may not be great for marathoning current seasons but it does allow you to not worry about missing a show on a particular night because you can get to it within a few weeks. Plus it seems to be getting better about retaining content, though I guess for the bigger shows there's going to be weird contract shenanigans at play.

I haven't found a suitable replacement for internet over fios. So I have cable anyway hence hulu is a waste. Plus having more options for the kid is good.

Who is this? I'm on the $8/mo plan and wouldn't mind dropping price and commercials.
HeavyD814Life. I used to buy Xbox points cards from him years ago. The one time I had a problem with codes he sent me, he sent me working ones within hours.

Yeah I did the $25 for a year of Hulu from the CAG guy option. I use it mainly to watch their original programming, but my son has enjoyed watching old AFV and He-Man episodes.

I wouldn't pay full price for it, but the $25 a year options is right in my wheelhouse.

I saw that my Zero Escape 3 order automatically has the discount applied now so there's a good chance it would do the same for the Mega Man collection.

I'm having the same issue with my Vita as well. Fully charged last night, but dead when I woke up today.
"System software stability during use of some features has been improved."

I've seen some suggestions that setting your Vita to airplane mode (or just turning off Wifi) might help with the battery draining issue.

Luckily, I have yet to update my Vita.

Pretty sure Paul is right up there with Caniac as our two PSNOTs that are the closest to being hipsters.
I don't know... I'm probably in that group too. I have a huge hard on for the witness and I haven't even seen anything other than very early videos because I don't want to spoil it for me. One of my favorite games of all time is Myst and other than FO4, Talos Principle and The Witness are the games that I would want to play most if I ever get to feeling like playing anything.

Oh, and if that isn't hipster enough for you, i loved Ico and SotC and still very much look forward to someday playing The Guardian even though it will likely be a mess compared to what it was meant to be.
