I don't know dude you might be better off not grinding shit. Tyler rarely does that stuff and flies up the tt point board. He just keeps playing more games. Grinding slows you down a lot I think. I grind some things but not unless it's going to get me a plat and never for more than a few hours. Those 20 hour grinds are stupid.

Do you know of any ways to recover bugged companions? I sent the BOS guy to The Castle (Minutemen place) a couple nights ago and then wanted to get him today for some BOS quests and he is not there. Rang a bell and he doesnt show up but I'm sure he's there since it says I have 5 settlers and only 4 come to the bell.

Not really sure about that one. The only thing I can suggest is that you check where you originally meet him. I've had both Curie and Strong wind up back near their original spots rather than the camp I sent them to.

Yea, making over 6 figures is a REAL drag on your taxes. Used FSA for daycare this year to have a 5k tax shelter but still didnt really help much, getting back 750 though so at least we dont owe. Owed the last couple of years before the kid and that aint fun.

Yea like vig said, follow the trophy guide. Lays out exactly where to save and when to reload what save, if you follow it you can get all the endings and then go back to which ending you liked best to continue playing.

Played great first half, not so much second half but still had a chance to win in regulation. Ulis was just wore out at the end, played every minute I think.

It's weird that TMNT game doesn't come out til September. It seems like it's close to being ready to release, they're just waiting for Fall I guess.

 
Speaking of grinding. I spent a couple hours upgrading my plane to beat the last boss in Luftwaffe then proceeded to try to beat him for over and hour. Over and over again I died on the same spot even after watching a video and seeing the guy that beat him using the same strategy i am. So I just deleted the fuck ing game. No going back. Not going to keep beating my head against a wall.
 
so I figured out the cube thing (thanks velo) and got a bunch of bitchin gear from the blood shard vendor and now I can putz around on torment 6 and 7 without dying too much. What now? greater rifts? I've got a couple set pieces I'd like to get just to see how far I can push it but outside of that there doesn't seem to be much to do once you have gear you're happy with.

And yeah Achievements already being on the server was one of the reasons that I feel like the game is basically ready to go.

 
So the main free roam area with missions, side quests, and encounters in The Division was pretty fun from a standard 3rd person shooter aspect.  There is just way too much in terms of RPG elements for my liking, but I think I could possibly get through that part if decent weapons were available.

Then I went into the Dark Zone and it didn't take me long to know that it would be everything I hate about competitive MP.  Since all the better weapons are apparently available by extracting them from the Dark Zone, I just dont know if this one is for me.

 
I only got to do the hospital mission and then it told me there were no more story missions in the beta. Was that a bug or is that right? I'm guessing bug.

Why would you think that is a bug? Do you expect them to let you play the entire game as part of a beta?

There are a lot of side mission things you can do that are marked on the map, but that hospital one is the one real mission available during the beta.

Ah. It said to do 3 missions, one for each part of the main base or whatever it is. Plus then I had that problem at the end of the Hospital and I had to quit out. But, yeah, I suppose that would be unreasonable.

Well I've played enough of the beta. I'll pick it up when it's cheaper for the missions. That part seemed fun.
 
Another thing that happened in the beta was in the Dark Zone there's a fence you can climb into a small area with a ladder. So I climbed it, but then you can't actually reach the ladder and you can't climb back out either due to unclimbable stuff between you and the fence. I had to wait for somebody to kill me so I could respawn.
 
Do you guys having the issue with the Vita battery draining have the Power Save Setting - Use Wifi in Power Save Mode, checked or unchecked.  Mine is checked.  This is what it means:
 
This setting allows the Wi-Fi to be put in a "Power Save Mode". This essentially means that it uses less power when it is on, and it turns itself off when it isn't being used (when the Vita is put into standby or sleep mode). Having this ticked means that the Wi-Fi is put into a lower power state, which can affect antenna strength and therefore download speeds. Unticking this means that the Wi-Fi is run at full power, even when in sleep mode.
A better phrasing of this setting might be Put Wi-Fi in Power Save Mode or more descriptive, Turn Wi-Fi Off When Not In Use

What I'm wondering is, if you have it unchecked, if that could potentially be the cause of the battery draining. Would explain why also some people say putting it in airplane mode, which turns off the wifi, claim the battery doesn't drain.
 
I had wifi turned off all day, but battery was still dead when I tired to turn it on just now after 12+ hours of idling in stand-by.

Tomorrow we start BSG s4. I'm really not looking forward to the end of the show. It's had its ups and downs so far but I know it ends on an ultra-shitty note, though I've managed to not get spoiled on the content despite how long it's been out.

Any good shows that started recently? I want to check out Blindspot but other than that only Lucifer is on my radar for new shows this past Fall/Spring. Right now I think we're about to be stuck marathoning the backlog of shows we've started but haven't finished; Lost Girl, White Collar, Leverage, Mentalist, and a few others.

I got it as well and didn't tell the wife. She watched a few episodes of Project Runway last night but still hasn't noticed the lack of commercials. I'm waiting for it.

Gotta say it's a huge improvement. Definitely jump on that $25 code for 8 months of commercial-free Hulu. Great deal.

I watch Blindspot, but it's not the greatest. Definitely skippable. I love White Collar, but I'm biased because I have a buddy who's on it. I need to start Lost Girl.

 
I watched the entire run of White Collar. Great show. Thankfully, USA let them have one last season to wrap it up after it looked like they were going to cancel it on a cliffhanger.

Blindspot is decent. I've been watching Mad Dogs on Prime streaming, and it's great. I'll watch and love anything Shawn Ryan is involved in (The Shield, Terriers, The Unit, The Chicago Code).

It's a little depressing right now because this is the time of year Justified usually starts a new season. I miss that show.

Lost Girl isn't great, tbh. It starts pretty weak and goes up and down in quality. There's a few really fun characters, though. Kenzi especially. I'd say about half the characters are really good and the other half are a bit annoying.

Probably the biggest problem with the show is an extremely long-running mystery which they leave as a running subplot for way too long. I'm not a fan of anything left open-ended for more than a season or two at most--it's hard to maintain interest when a show keeps revisiting the same idea without doing anything with it. It's what drove me to quit watching Monk even though I liked the individual episodes. I checked when it ended and I know how they resolved his wife's murder in the end; it definitely wasn't worth the wait. I cant imagine the Lost Girl mystery is going to be worth it either.

We talked about this not too long ago, that setting is a misnomer. Doesnt do what youd think it would do. Power save mode means the wifi chip uses less batter at all times. When you change it to not use that, it boosts the power used by wifi chip and helps give you a better wifi connection. Has nothing to do with turning off when going into sleep mode. With either the box checked or unchecked, when you hit the power button to sleep, wifi is turned off. You can tell this by signing in and then putting it to sleep, when it turns back on you will see the wifi pop up in the corner again and it will sign you back in to psn and you'll get the notices again about friends online, etc.

tldr that setting has nothing to do with wifi sleeping, but while the system is in use would indeed use more battery but in my experience doesnt hurt battery life much if any.

Im going to trade in a few games at gamestop today I guess, mostly vita stuff. Lego jurassic and wolf among us at a min, lego batman 3 too provided I can find the case haha. 

Would get 35 bucks for those 3 alone. Got plat on all 3 so no reason to keep them. 

Cant remember what I got in TIV for until dawn but that 33 is pretty sweet, especially if you got it cheap during BF like I did. Traded back to bby a bit ago and got around that pretty sure, whatever it was I basically played the game for free.

IIRC GS doesn't pay differently for a case. No reason not to take it back even if you can't find that.

 
Oh just read on the site that they pay the same without the box, not sure where the hell the lego batman 3 vita box is so will trade without it.

Yeah it's something to keep in mind when buying from GS--since so many of their used games don't come with the box/instructions you're a bit handicapped on the resale side unless you take them back to GS. BB also doesn't care about the additional materials. Walmart only accepts complete packages (last time I checked, anyway) and Amazon docks you for missing stuff. I think Hastings also only accepts complete games but I'm not sure on that one. Obviously eBay pricing takes a hit as well.

It's a bit of a pain but due to the above whenever there's a b2g1 or some other promo like that and I end up with games that don't have everything I'll often check surrounding GS for other copies. I've never had a problem going to a GS and getting the employees to let me swap cases or pick up a manual and it really helps for resell options.

Their site sucks for looking up values, I was looking at the cash with pro values like an idiot.

No pro trade value for lego batman 3 vita, lego jurassic vita, wolf among us vita, and gow 3 remaster would get me 60 in trade in, pretty good to me, will get some psn credit and amazon credit with it. Still sitting on I think like 100 credit from there already.
