Yeah my extra $5 is also gone, I pre-ordered it when they ran the promo but I needed to cancel so I could use the gift cards on something else. I guess best buy's system is not as incompetent as I thought lol

Exchange seems to have worked properly since my $15  reward cert just popped up :). So glad the lady working the pick up counter the other day  just didn't know what she was talking about when she told me I lost all preorder bonuses by exchanging my XB1 version for PS4.

If you cash in those 250 points, and they remove them, your account will either go negative or they will be deducted from your total FYI.

 
Cool, my 500 points got added. 762 pending (I paid for the majority of it with a GC), though I pre-ordered before the actual cut-off date unlike the rest of you slackers. ;)

Fingers crossed it credits okay.

Thanks, I just checked mine and it's showing up on my second copy. Since I already got 250 added from my first copy, I'm guessing this is the other 500 points.I have 899 pending, 45 available now, and with my orders of Donkey Kong 3DS and UFC, I should definitely have a $20 cert in time for Uncharted.

I'm sitting at 3000($60) with 1284 pending. I should use it towards Uncharted but I don't want to cancel and reorder again.

That'd be my luck....I use to use it everytime I got to $40-$50 worth but I was thinking about saving. Like I said before, going through my rewards overview, it shows I used over $400 in Certs in the past 12 months. For points/rewards that's pretty impressive. At least I think so.
 
If you happen to be one that might accidentally buy four of a game with GCU don't sit on it though since when they did that random GCU sweep and round of RZ account bans those affected lost everything.  Think of person said they lost like $300 in rewards.

You're right. I stand corrected. I confused the exception for the GOTY and complete editions re-releases since they were different UPC's but CE's and LE's DO count as part of the limit. As a general practice I would advise keeping track of your purchases but for theking's situation tbh I think he'll be fine. I got banned when I got 4 vanilla copies of Black Ops 3 on the PS4. I was careful with my account and when I got hit I knew that had to be the reason. I think from an analysts' perspective, it's much easier to track it to a specific UPC than multiple one's to be assessed for quantity purchase limits. But to summarize, just keep your purchases to 3 per platform - period.

While I rarely purchase more than 2 copies of any game, I took your advice and used a $60 Cert. Had to reorder the No Man's Sky Limited Edition. Apparently now BB has a preorder bonus. Came out to $4.24, I'll take it!
 
I always bank my points until Black Friday, never use them until then. I'm careful when it comes to my purchases so I'm not really worried about going over the limit and getting banned. 

I just love the feeling of redeeming my certs and using them on those already great prices that BB has on BF.

Correct. There's never been a Sony title included. There's usually a different promo. Like buy game and get a discount on a headset. Wish they'd include UC4. But I'll be buying it whether they do or not. They've got my number >.<

Anyone playing the division? How is it? Do you have to have a group of friends to have a good time or can I play solo online?

It's enjoyable in it's own way but like Destiny and Borderlands it's highly repetitive and I would not buy it to play solo.

It's all-but-confirmed that this is not going to continue. The selection has never been so poor. Games are usually added several months in advance of release. :(

Pre-Ordered Division on 12/4 because of the $15 cert, but when I picked the game up the employee screwed up my order and didnt put in my $5 down payment, so they had to do another transaction to return my $5. Will this affect my $15 cert?

If there wasn't a pre-order/down payment, then I don't even think there was a pre-order to begin with. What does the top of the receipt(s) say?

There isn't a preorder on your account because it was refunded. You might be able to go to the forums and pleas your case.

Great more of a hassle. The employee was very adamant that she used the preorder receipt I gave her even though it obviously didn't add my $5 down payment in to the payment. I talked to a manager who agreed with me and she gives him and I attitude and sighs sacrcastically. People like this who don't want to do their job is ridiculous!

I'm planning on trading it in this week. It was really fun for 30-40 hours but after that its a very, very basic loot grind. I played solo 100% of the time, you can matchmake for all the missions (15 total or so) so thats good and matchmake for hard mode missions at level cap, only once I ever heard anyone else talk (PS4).

The end game is pretty disappointing, its very, very group focused and its sorta broken too, no one wants to really PVP (if you die you lose 4-5 hours of work) and everything else is just a boring grind. There are no raids or anything cool to do, just mobs that bum rush you so you need 4 really geared and coordinated players to do the highest level of missions.

vanilla Destiny had a far more fun end game imo, but Division's leveling is far, far better. I enjoyed Destiny's gun and class systems better too, there is nothing like gallahorn or ice breaker in division - its all guns that feel similar, I have two orange (legendary) guns but for the life of me have no idea what they are called.

since I got it for $33+tax at best buy I have no problems with it at all since it should trade for $30-35, for $60 i don't think its worth it

I really like it. If you're looking for a great story, avoid this. It's a mediocre plot, the characters are forgettable and/or annoying, and the voice acting is pretty weak.

I like the gameplay, though. It can be played solo for sure, and the quest content isn't all that hard. To me, the best part of playing is having people to play with and doing main missions together on Hard, where the difficulty and enemy scaling give you some semblance of challenge. I haven't tried the Dark Zone because I've had no one to go in there with, and I expect it would be a disaster.
