Are people seeing an amazing price for all the endless legend stuff? I saw 66% off and that's decent but not something i'd go crazy for. The Endless Space stuff is well priced though.

There's some further bundle discounts on top of the 66% if you already own some/most of it that may make it worth it, but the problem is it's messed up and once you get it in the cart it's not counting the base Endless Space correctly.

I won a copy of RBI Baseball 16 last night (via a post in the contests section on CAG ironically) and oh boy does it suck. I knew it was an arcade game like the old school series of the same name, but ffs despite its general shallowness, the controls suck, there is barely any roster management possible and its just blah.

Ended up picking up the Amplitude pack since I didn't own Endless Space or Dungeon of the Endless and wanted them both. Glad they didn't have the latest Endless Legend DLC in it since that at 25% off would have been a bummer in the bundle.

I kind of hate the Humble monthly lately. Besides being a more expensive option because no tiers, the Poopees surprise shit keeps messing me up.

I skip them because I already have the flagship game like Ark or South Park or Mad Max but then the have other shit in them I want when revealed.

Of course, I can't buy it at that point. Then the foreigners steal all the copies from Tremor for way too many coins in the middle of the night and I don't have the time or patience to do all the Spoder wheeling and dealing shenanigans.

So I just end up without those games waiting for them to get rebundled again I guess. I'm sorry I'm just not willing to blind order something for $12 when I already have the highlight of the bundle.
so far i've only bought if i want the revealed game, but i might start buying regardless and selling the dupes. this past bundle i didn't buy because i had south park, but if i would've bought and sold it in the cesspool for 4 or 5 bucks the rest of the games wouldve been worth the price
That's probably what I would do. I can try to justify it that I can sell the dups but if I stop bullshitting myself I know I probably won't.
I think you guys are doing this the hard or at least the fakeybro way because people always buy/subscribe blindly even when they have the flagship game(s). I have yet to see any of these bundles where the big draw isn't something that either had a glitch or an at-least-75% sale, so many people who want it already had it. Most of the bundles have been fairly mediocre when taken as a whole unless you're one of those people who says, "Hey, I'll spend $12 on Mad Max and get a couple of other things as a bonus" (and if you are, well, there's probably no hope for you). They've had 2-3 games that are really worthwhile at most, and you can definitely troll the cesspit on reveal day and find people selling off extras for $1-3 each. Also, people will often drop monthly extras as freebies in the BGCQ group.

For reference, this page lists all of the previous monthlies. I took a peek again just to confirm that I wasn't simply being smarmy and cheap. I'm not--they really do average around 3 decent games per bundle.

The cesspool is nice if you don't want the flagship games (those tend to go for $6-7) and only want a couple games from the bundle, but if you want all of the non-flagship stuff it's still better to buy the bundles with a coupon and sell off the flagship games. I get people are lazy, but it's not all that difficult. I owned Wasteland 2, South Park, Nuclear Throne, and Mad Max.. sold them off for $5/$4/$4/$6 each. That combined with coupons made the remaining games cheaper than you can trade for them.

It comes out to 75% off the stuff (at least Dungeon of the Endless went from $12 base to $3 in bundle with the extra 25% bundle discount) which isn't amazing glitch pricing but is a solid discount if you're interested in the stuff. Of course, that only holds if the bundle actually works. Which it does not.

Oh, so I see you're only scrooge mcduck stingy when it comes to the bros.

I 'love' 'free' games.
Used to LAN twice a month, now its lucky if its once a year. Gamed with some of these people over 20 years. So long we game with their kids.

If it makes the bros feel any better, unless its on decent sale im still not going to buy it. Are you cheap shaming me? you of the used hard drives, small monitors, cheap keyboards and goodwill cases?

And I still kicked your ass in Chivalry.

I'd rather pay ~$4ish more for the convenience of getting them in one bundle than to have to wade through the trade thread or BGCQ.

Yep, that's where I am. Granted, of the Monthlies I missed, none of them made me full of regret. I started with the Ark bundle and sold Ark off for $6 so for $6 I got the rest. People were paying $20 to kickstart some game to get Wasteland 2, so to be able to get it for $6 and other games is a good deal. If you didn't have Ark, $12 for it alone would have been a deal, but all the other stuff is a lot of value.

This last one I still haven't sold off my extras (South Park and War is Mine) but once I do I'll be left paying less for some really well reviewed indie games. Went ahead and moran'd the one with Mad Max because I know I can sell it off for $5 or $6 and be happy with the rest of the games at that price.

It's not the deal that HIBs used to be and HIBs have suffered due to this, but it can still work out decently if you put in some effort.

Yep, it's not like we're going to see pre 2014ish style Humble Bundles again. If the 'teaser' game is good enough, then the cost is reasonable. Worst case scenario I paid $8 or so for Mad Max and $4 for four indie games (one or two of which I'm sure will be decent). That and I'm not one of the +1 collectors who probably spend $200 a year on library entries they never play outside of card idling.

If you have Raptr installed, check your computer. I installed it as part of the new AMD video drivers, but I uninstalled it yesterday after cleaning up the system... and today I found out that it downloaded and installed another program called Plays.TV without asking me if I wanted it. It started up today when Windows booted up, it wasn't installed yesterday.

Reddit says the client is installed if you use the express option when installing new drivers, but it hadn't started up at all until this morning. So what the crap, AMD? This isn't Windows 10, shoo.
Raptr installed this a Plays.TV program a while back - which wants to try to be the new Twitch + Youtube for gamers, I guess. As soon as I noticed this thing when it first debuted, which was a bit ago or so - I just disabled it from recording my gameplay and all. It's in the Plays.TV preference.

If you're into this kind of thing - you can post your videos up online + all.

Meh.

Wow, that Quantum Break PC port on the technical side...Eurogamer ripped it to shreds:

Eurogamer -> What Went Wrong With Quantum Break PC.

Video about it from Eurogamer / Digital Foundry:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zK2BUeYqLVI

In short, Eurogamer says:

UWP is garbage - too many limitations, lack of features, and issues with it.

This runs better on AMD hardware by a mile.

NVidia has crashes and other weird non-sense issues.

Seems to be a 50FPS cap.

No adaptive V-Sync feature.

Even a Titan can't run this maxed-out properly.

CDKeys is usually who I buy from since they're always $30-35, but looks like Dark Souls is $48 right now. Where's the best place to get it from? I'd rather just get it from steam for $55 and pay the extra few bucks if $48 is the cheapest.

Bamco always locks their shit plus most of you amateur Putins keep fucking it up and making it super obvious to them and making them scrutinize and crack down harder for those of us who actually knew which publishers to buy and how to sneak shit under their nose.

It doesn't work much anymore though because they scrutinize all the Russian orders now thanks to Putintards.

You're doing it wrong! You're supposed to fly to Russia, get into the Kremlin, knock Putin out and use his IBM 380sx to order it....

Oh and Funstock has a habit of running out of their [ycs]totally not grey market [/ycs] keys and taking a long ass time to restock them for new releases sometimes so you might want to check Reddit first where they are still allowed but GMG isn't because reasons.

You don't need a Russian address and I never login with the vpn. I'm always logged out with the vpn on just use it for pricing because it saves to cookies then turn off vpn add the game to my cart and pay with blue coins which I previously bought in USD so there's no funny stuff with the payment address.

I also tend to use it for sale shit and not to fakey the flavor of the week so they probably don't scrutinize my shit as much.

Oh ino, i just take extra measures...but then again that apparently doesnt work either.

Well the blue coins are a universal currency and don't have a region or address attached to them so it feels less suspicious to me even though it's extra hoops to jump through.

But anymore I think they are just suspicious of Russian orders in general especially for popular stuff.

eh.. wut?

u mean F it and just use Gamersplanet's cheaper price right? GMG hasn't had any good sales lately and at least with Gamersplanet, they show which key is locked w/o any guess work. I am preloading DS3 right now from Gamersplanet

CDKeys had Derp Soles 3 for like $37 back in the day if you got in on the ground floor. Gotta jump on deals like that before the preorder hype.

Also I am shocked how mediocre Just Cause 3 is. How does MGS TPP have better shooting and explosions than JC3, a game about flying, shooting, and explosions?
