I bought wolfenstein new order and old blood on there for $15 total. No problems.

Do you guys use g2a seems pretty awesome games are a lot cheaper than all other sites:) got like 15 games from them so far
They're scheisty as fuck and the digital protection money G2A Shield is a scam, but if you're okay with that and seriously impatient and have to have the AAA flavor of the week RITE NAO and can't wait for a sale I guess it's okay. It's a marketplace though so caveat emptor. There could be some sellers getting rid of keys bought with stolen credit cards and such that may get revoked later. It's rare but not completely unheard of.

Honestly it's better to just have some patience as they're really only good at undercutting prices on new releases and once stuff has been out a while and goes on decent sales or even gets bundled they can't match those prices.

If you're really needing to have every new PC AAA release that rolls down the pike at like 20-30% off I kind of question why you're a (PC) CAG and if you're really playing all those or just backlogging them. I guess if you're a newb just off the turnip truck you might be, but eventually DAT BACKLOG THO.

Edited to add: Oh and every 'Hey guys what do you think about G2A/CDkeys?' post inevitably first gets a reply 'IT GAVE ME CANCER!!' and then 'It worked fine for me!'

Also, a lot of the stuff that looks cheap on G2A is cheap because it has been either bundled before or it is region free.

Most region free stuff can be bought via another country for less.

I just assumed we were talking about new release AAA stuff because that's the only stuff that's even semi worth considering there, provided you actually will play it right now.. Of course don't buy any overpriced bundle keys from them, duh.

Never got DS2 because they almost immediately had the DX10 edition and started vomiting out DLC (that's apparently better than the main game). Granted DS3 has pre-planned DLC but from what I've seen DS3 is more a true sequel to DS1 than DS2. Even if there's some $10 bundle for everything DS2 I'll probably skip it.

Unfortunately the DS1 online servers have been down the last few days. The crazies are saying it's to force people to buy DS3. But, hey, if you're looking to play DS1 without getting ganked but having the ability to summon npc help then now is the time.
I got pretty far in Dark Souls 2 and dropped after my friends completed the game.

I didn't enjoy it as much as I did with Demon Souls and Dark Souls 1.

oh well I'm glad that you I don't make you all proud lol

One of these days I'm going to figure out how to really have a dual-country Steam account so I can buy these games at the lower local price.

For now, a discount from someone selling off their Steam wallet balance should do.

Shadow of Mordor: GOTY is back via Russian travel for $3.38. Lord of the Rings: War in the North is $1.50. Also some capcom stuff on sale but most of what I would buy is region locked. Anyone comment on whether War in the North is worth playing?

Don't ya remember I bought all these when price was actually good?

Is it really that hard to check if you bought it and not recommend?

I guess HITMAN is forgiveable as it was from US site. But then again Game library is shared between sites at least on UK, German & French and shows if you bought it from other one, so...

then tell the newbie with the snoopie dog avatar to do Russian travel. Cheaper and just as risky as Brazillian travel.

how often do humble bundles come back ..say for example if I missed the WB one will they likely bring it back in a month or so?
They generally have a bundle every week + the monthly. As for which publisher they will feature, who knows, pretty random. Considering that bundle was a year and a half ago it may be a case of WB doesn't want to do it again.

Are Capcom keys region locked? Keys for Resident Evil games appear to be cheap from the likes of putingate.

RE6 is region locked. IIRC 4 and 5 aren't. Look for RU in the URL. For example the normal URL for RE6 is gamersgate.com/DD-RE6/resident-evil-6 while the russian one is something like gamersgate.com/DD-RE6RU/resident-evil-6

I finally got a high end rig for the first time in my life so of course I'm looking to replenish my Steam backlog of games I'll never play. Where are the best places to look for discounts on Steam credit?

People can do what they want but honestly I personally feel people should not post about that anymore. noobs screw it up and then complain and even those of us who have done it plenty of times get caught sometimes lately because they are looking out for it.

If you know what you are doing then do it on the down low knowing that your order might get cancelled (or in extreme cases account banned but less likely) but otherwise I don't think we should announce it.

Well I'm just buy games that are 3-5 bucks max otherwise it's not worth it to me on pc.. I'd just get it on console
So you'd rather pay more and get worse quality games? I can't wait till consoles go all digital so that this kind of logic won't exist anymore, lol.

For anyone new to Russian travel. Don't login with your VPN going and don't checkout with it going. Personally I just use it to set the prices then turn it off. After turning it off login and pay through paypal as normal. I haven't had an issue so far, knock on wood. Motoki goes the extra step of using Blue Coins that were previously purchased with USD rather than paypal. Honestly that makes a lot of sense since it removes the fact you are paying with a US address paypal account from the equation.

Also, manual review doesn't mean you are SoL. I have been manual reviewed a couple times without an issue.

FWIW this is probably my last post on the subject or any decent looking prices from the site. For whatever reason people seem to fly through Nuuvem but manage to screw up Gamersgate when it is, imo, way easier to buy from.

I thought LOTR War in the North was decent co-op if you like the setting to begin with.  If you have little to no interest in LOTR I would definitely pass.

I actually had a run in DS3 tonight where I didn't die a single time for over an hour.  Of course when I did die it started a very brutal cycle of repeatedly throwing my corpse at a level that was pulled directly out of my nightmares.

I still can not wrap my head around how I can play a game for six hours straight without realizing how much time has passed when it is beating the shit out of me left and right.

Fry's Electronics does sales on Steam gift cards from time to time iirc, otherwise not really sure. Best discount is card idling, if you can deal with the mobile authenticator (or use a desktop one). Oh, if you can find Visa (etc.) prepaid/gift cards for cheap, you can use those to add money to your Steam wallet. Did that once since swagbucks was letting you redeem points for giftcards (semi-related note: unless you have no job or just willing to spend 1-3 hours a day basically farming, you don't want to use swagbucks).

FYI, don't bother getting Capcom keys from Putingate. Capcom added Russian keys to ALL their games. Even Street Fighter X Tekken. You know, the one they abandoned shortly after launch.
