PSNOT 3.0 - Let's Talk About University of Kentucky, Baby!

is the cassette of the soundtrack real. That would be cool

and did you get it today mine is slow as fuck
I think it's real but I don't have anything to play it on. Also sorry for spoiling it, didn't realize anyone else here subscribed to Indiebox. Mine came super quick this time, usually it takes like 5 days from shipping confirmation to delivery.

Went to one of the local Mexican restaurants for a Cinco de Mayo dinner after the boy's baseball game.  Had a couple Dos Equis and the wife had a couple magaritas.  She's been on a tequila kick ever since she had a paloma when she was in Austin about a month ago.

Sidebar: One reason to have kids is to relive your childhood vicariously through them.  My son's team won their last regular season game tonight with a walk-off grand slam in the bottom of the fifth inning.  I'm not sure who was more excited; the kids or all of us dads coaching the team.  Playoffs start next week.

Several of the families from the baseball team were at the restaurant.  It was pretty cool watching and listening to the kids relive that last half-inning.

Our wedding was here:

http://www.corleymillhouse.com/

It was in July, so we did a late afternoon ceremony. I remember it turning out to be a pretty mild day for the middle summer in South Carolina. We still had the ceremony and reception inside, though. We had an open bar, live band, and sit-down dinner with about 200 guests. It was what I would call a semi-formal, semi-traditional southern wedding. Her parents paid for all of it, and I have no idea how much it cost. If I had to guess, I'd say in the $10-15K range, but a good chunk of that would include her wedding dress. Those things can get expensive.

My dad paid for the rehearsal dinner; Beaufort stew and New York strips. My mom and dad split the cost of our honeymoon to New York.

The only thing I paid for was our wedding weekend at the Middleton Place Inn in Charleston; that was my wedding gift to my wife. It was a surprise since we weren't going on our honeymoon until August because she was taking summer courses at USC. In fact, the only other person that new where we were going on our wedding night was my dad, because he helped make the arrangements.

Fun fact: We were in New York for our honeymoon in August 2003 when the blackout occurred. We had just gotten of the Subway and gone in FAO Schwarz when the power went out. We had contemplated going to Queens because one of the art museums had temporarily relocated there while it was being remodeled, but decided at the last minute to go the next day. We might have been stuck in the subway tunnel if we hadn't gotten off when we did.

tl;dr: I enjoyed my wedding. Mild's advice is spot-on; do what you want.

A marriage shall be considered valid only if the wife is a virgin. If the wife is not a virgin, she shall be executed. (Deuteronomy 22:13-21)
And if the guy says she isn't and is proven to be a liar (how, I have no idea) his punishment is a 100 shekel fine paid to her father and he must stay married to her forever. Forevvvvvveeeeerrrrrrr.

PS4:

Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth DLC
Doom (5/13)
Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End

PS Vita:

MegaTagmension Blanc + Neptune VS Zombies
MOP: Operation Cleanup (cross-buy with previously released PS4 version)

Finally, after waiting for what feels like an eternity, on Tuesday we'll finally get our hands on MOP: Operation Cleanup on PlayStation Vita!

A little pissed at BBY... went to pre-order that Deadpool steelbook and kept getting an error message when I went to choose a store for pickup. Tried several times with no luck. Went to try it again and it had gone up to $25.

Why is every other sub-community on here super fucking weird? How did we get all the mostly normal people?

Yeah, Vigilante chooses some terrible gifs and image responses but they're still better than anything that gets posted in the other places. Anybody in here is heads and shoulders above anybody outside of here.

Thanks?

Me too. Kept crapping out on the store pickup location.

Jeez, why don't you two lovebirds just get married already?

http://www.engadget.com/2016/05/05/deadpool-digital-hd-sales/

Fox selling deadpool digital before the bluray has paid off looks like, sold over 1 million digital only copies already.

Loved the movie, think im gonna spring for the 4k hd blu ray for the inevitable 4k tv and ps4k that i'll own.
Didn't Amazon at one point give you the digital copy of a movie when you bought the DVD? At least on select titles?

So you would get it at midnight the day it came out digitally and later it would show up physically (same day for Prime).

Wish they would do that. I picked on the Star Wars steel book that as on sale the other day at BB. I opened the case and immediately redeemed the Vudu code. More often then not digging out the physical disc is a PIA. Just fire up vudu my my laptop or phone and send it to the Chromecast is just more convenient most of the time.

People can cancel pre-orders, though, which causes problems with that approach.

Count me in among those not in on a physical release of the really fun game Xeodrifter.

What if they offer a new set of trophies, though? Then you'll all be in like flynn.

Same.

$24.99 (assuming LRG is consistent with their pricing) would be a bit much for new trophies in a game you can finish within 1-2 hours.

I loved xeodrifter, but why do you need a physical release for that one? You're never going to play it again.
If they handled it like Indiebox and included some extra collectible goodies, I'd be all for it. As it is, it's about $10 more than a monthly indie box and is literally just cover art, a manual, and the game. It must cost a ton to print games (Indiebox of course doesn't so they're able to put that money towards actual cool things.)

I played some of that Uncharted mobile game. It's alright, just top-down puzzles and F2P elements. I would probably play through it if it was on Vita.

They announced who's gonna play Han Solo in the stand-alone origin story movie

His name is Alden Ehrenreich and his IMDB page says he's known for Beautiful Creatures, Hail Caesar!, Stoker, and Blue Jasmine.  He was also in one episode of CSI (OG) and Supernatural.  So there ya go.

That would be awesome, I'd definitely be in for an indiebox series if it were on PS4/Vita. Even if it were just a code + goodies.

Who wants to subscribe to munkybox? Box in question will be cardboard, possibly with Amazon markings. Poorly hand drawn cover art unique to your copy! Goodies may include a picture of me giving the thumbs up while playing the game and other surprises! Cost is only the price of one game*!

*game in question is rock band 4 full band bundle

Should be interesting to see the fan reaction to the movie and how it compares to the Han Solo Trilogy, which (I believe) is one of the more popular licensed fanfiction that Disney declared non-canon when it bought Star Wars.
