PSNOT 3.0 - Let's Talk About University of Kentucky, Baby!

Really tempted to pick up dungeons 2. Had it confused with something else, cause I thought it was an rpg. It's actually an rts, which makes it even more tempting. The couple games i was going to trade in towards the witcher expansion also shot up in value, and will put me right about at $50 with the 50% promo at gs(which is how much the game costs).

Just played through the Odin's Sphere ps4 demo. Hopefully the vita version plays as smoothly. Really enjoyed the demo and now I'm half tempted to put in a preorder for both versions since its supposed to be cross save.

Round 6 is the only hard one and I'm pretty sure you don't have to do them all at once.
Each of the 6 challenges has multiple (5?) rounds. You have to do all rounds of a challenge in one shot, but you can do each challenge one at a time.

Challenge 6 is the balls hard one, but you definitely will fail sometimes in the other 5, they're not obscenely easy. I don't remember exactly but I think a successful run of challenge 6 takes about 20-30 minutes which is part of what makes it so frustrating. Once you get to the point where you can get through the first 3-4 rounds reliably and need to practice on the last 1-2 it takes 20 minutes just to get there every time.

Jim Sterling gave it an 8/10. That's a selling point right there!

But yeah it's more like Dungeon Keeper than anything else. Steam reviews are a bit mixed. Only 73% positive. Lots of crash reports in the review section. A port of a buggy game sounds risk so I'd definitely hold off on grabbing it at least until some information on the port is out. No telling if we'll have another Lichdom on our hands.

All you having off fuckers have brought this place to a screeching halt.  Doesn't anyone in here have normal job doesn't doesn't just close down whenever they want to?

Kyle Bosman did a whole episode about Chapter 4 in Uncharted. I knew it was the best chapter!
whats his site now? Ill watch it after I play it. I just started 3 last night. Hope to get through most of it this weekend, if not finish it. The last couple chapters in 2 seemed to go on forever but holy shit did it look pretty.

He does stuff with the Easy Allies guys, but I don't really pay attention to that cuz I'm not a big fan of most the rest of the guys.

Otherwise he just has a new Youtube series that he updates like twice a month. Wish it was more frequent but oh well. He has 4 episodes so far.

This Turtles game does kinda suck. There is so fucking much going on on the screen at once I have no clue what is going on. The first boss fight with Bebop was certainly annoying enough. Thanks Tyler for your impressions have helped me save some Amazon credit because this validates me returning this unopened copy lol.

oh neat, no sales tax in oregon. I'm updating my amazon/best buy preorders this morning to my new address. that's a nice treat.
no sales tax? so property and income taxes must be through the roof. way to get all the money from the people that live there and none of the tourists. Oh wait...i guess they dont get many of those so I guess that makes sense?

yeah, state income tax is double what it is in Kansas (8% vs 4% iirc). property taxes don't seem to be any more damning than where I'm living presently though. they might actually be a bit lower.

Im just spouting off gibberish waiting for the clock to move.  I just found out about a Margarita Fest at the park downtown tomorrow.  I think ima hit that!

I'd much rather no sales tax and increased income tax. Having to pay tax on all necessities and such is pretty shitty. Income tax only grows with increased pay while sales tax hits you no matter how much (or little) you make. Plus there's a certain appeal to stuff costing the amount it says it'll cost. It'd have been great for that $1699 bed I bought last week to not have an additional $170 tacked on.

"Many tax advocates believe that sales taxes are the worst way to tax residents, as their consumption focus tends to hit the poor the hardest."

yeah, so i approve of sales tax!  poor people's lives dont matter!

One of my friends lived in Minnesota for a little while and he said that there was no sales tax on clothes. I thought that was an odd exclusion.
I guess like food it is a necessity. Here in NY you don't pay tax on most food items at the grocery store. But do pay if it is prepared for you.

I think in recent years clothing items under $100 or something are also either tax free or at a lower rate. NJ I think has always been tax free on clothes so I think they had to do that to keep people from just cloth shopping in NJ.

My great uncle had a place on the Atlantic Ocean in Delaware. Not shitty. Was pretty sweet actually. Near the Maryland boarder. He also had a place near Ocean City, MD that was nice but NOT on the water.
Oh really? A million dollar house on the ocean is the opposite of shitty!?! Who would have thought that?!!?

Suck it Jimbob!

Income tax is stupid.

Sales tax is the best kind of tax, everyone has to pay it.
