This thread will attempt to provide a place to discuss past/present/future PC gaming deals. While mainly focusing on Steam games, any standout sales may also be presented. I will not be updating every Daily/Weekly/etc. sale. The tools to help individuals become a smarter shopper will be provided below.

See this POST for links to store sale pages, threads of interest and other tools to help you become a more informed PC game shopper.

Also, this may have already been mentioned, but Nox is free with Origin on the House.
Sweet. Added it to my Origin account.

It's nice that I won't have to break out my retail game-disc for this game...which I've had for years + NEVER played, BTW. :)

Damn retail-game backlogs...

EDIT:

Well, actually...technically, now Nox is transitioning itself over to the digital backlog section...

Man, thank god its free so you don't have to take the cd out of its case in 2056 when you decide you suddenly want to play Nox

re: Dead by Daylight
I think that game sucks, but I can't confirm it since I've never been able to play it. It's like Damned, one monster and several victims. Online everyone wants to be the monster so there is like an infinite wait to get into a game. I've been in the beta for a while and have never been able to get into a game each time I tried. Even playing as a victim it always takes forever and crashes back to the main screen for me.

re: Logitech 302
I'm not a huge fan of the mouse. It's okay. A little light and the scroll wheel feels flimsy. Looks cool, but I don't trust it to last too long.

I saw one of those G302s at my local Target last night.  But I already had a six dollar G402 Hyperion from the Office Depot clearance.  Which I haven't actually taken out and used yet.

Well, there it is-  RX 480 for $200!!! launching on June 29th

I was thinking of selling my r9 390 and getting a 1070 or 1080 but with all the BS surrounding Founder Editions cards I'll probably keep my 390 and get a 480 to put in my pc that have hooked up to my tv.

I regret perusing some of those Fat Furries discussions.
I'm sorry to say I did the same. It was a discussion about how fat they are in IRL and dreaming about how fat they would they would like to become.

Got an eyefull of one dude who posted a picture of his fat gut next to a bowl of intestines. One of the other fat furries seemed to really get off on that.

Oh the Internet.

No one actually buys a founders edition card, those things are only good for epeen. Everyone is waiting a week for the AIB cards that cost 50-100 less than the FE's, have better cooling, and can be clocked higher

That's the same thread that I saw, unfortunately.

That would have been fun to play. Next time.
We're actually playing it tomorrow night if you want to join. Tonight was officially Homefront which we played for like 1.5 hours and was fun but Georgebot wanted to play something else because he totes sucked at it so we spent like 30 minutes trying to decide what to play and then did Rocket League. Parallacks really brought Syntax and I down. We were MVPs otherwise.

whatever happened to everyone playing the division?
I still play daily... or close enough to call it daily... but that shouldn't be a surprise as its really my kind of game.

I don't see too many cheaters, at least blatant cheaters, so that sort of died down.

Making money I'm the DZ is easier than before... and the 201+ DZ is pretty brutal in regards to the health/damage output of the PvE content so most people don't really go rogue anymore. (Hard to just run past PvE content now... and it will down you quicker than snot.)

The new PvE content in the rest of New York is grindy but decent. Hopefully they'll remove some of the grind elements and make it better.

The new Incursion is rather fun... It's just quick. (Falcon Lost has improved a little but still sucks.)

My friends list that plays is getting smaller and smaller.

Not really sure if I would recommend it even with all my hours played so the Steam reviews would be an intresting read.

It is in a better place for newer players in 1.2 than it was in 1.1, no doubt about it.

Uh... I think it's a uh... 24000 mobo.

*looks up definition of mobo*
Mobo = Motherboard.

I was wondering if it was a Socket 1366 LGA X58 basically.

If it is, you're basically CPU bound for a Bloomfield i7.

Basically, that's what my Asus Sabertooth is: a socket 1366 LGA X58 (my current gaming desktop, built in May 2011).

Couldn't tell from your pic on the box, since your pic wasn't super-clear for me.

Is this your motherboard?
