First rule of Fight Club, you're hori stick can't be more expensive than your graphics card.
I owned so many sticks that it might cost more then the 1080 gtx now.
Along with the price of custom art for some of them.

Doesn't look promising

I have an R9 290X which would probably do okay. They show the stock 290 just under the GTX 970 so the 290X should be better still. Bigger bottleneck is my antiquated processor (i7-860 oc'd to 3.6GHz)
Time to upgrade I guess, I went to microcenter to see how much the 1080 would run me.

The bros didn't get enough people for Rainbow Six Siege so we switched over to a little Lethal League and Altitude.  Both are neat little games for short spurts, but sort of shallow and limited in game modes.  Would play again, but again in short spurts.

I also joined two games in Battlefield 1 and had fun using the Scout to snipe people.  Wouldn't buy it now because I don't have the time play every day, but it looked great and played great.

Zombie Driver HD and Chroma Squad are both in stock in Tremor. Chroma Squad is priced fairly high while Zombie Driver HD is fairly low priced.

Who are you and what have you done with our beloved FoxyPie? :speaktothehand:

He's obviously IAmTheCheapestGamer's new account.  Apparently he's insulting Fox with his new name.

Can we get some math lessons up in here?

Console players should be proud that they have to pay monthly to access online multiplayer. After all, if it wasn't for consoles we wouldn't have Steam/Origin and PC gaming would still be in it's infancy.

I'm happy to pay $3.50 a month in order to play Destiny. I've gotten more value per dollar spent, and fun playing with friends, than just about anything else I've played since FF11 or the infancy of WoW.

According to camelcamelcamel, someone keeps putting Vives up on Amazon for $609.95 and I keep missing them every time. Although, who knows if they're legit or not.

I feel this post. I haven't really touched my consoles since I finally moved to PC a few months ago but I still have an active PS+ subscription and Destiny (and to a lesser extent, Bloodborne) is the only reason I'd ever consider keeping it active. I'll still probably let it lapse, but those games are the only reason I'm keeping the console at all.

Plus, it's nice to have a few things lying around that my son can destroy and it's no biggie.

Same, my subscription is good until next year at which point I have no intention of renewing it. Journey is a good "freebie" this month if you haven't already played it, though. My 3 current gen consoles are basically just Amazon and Netflix machines right now until a good exclusive comes along. Which reminds me, I still need to finish Uncharted 4.

Speaking of Netflix, who's ready for Narcos S2 tomorrow?

the new Xbox One S is great value for anyone that is trying to buy a UHD 4k blu ray player right now, too.  Regular players cost $200-300 on their own.

Although it makes even more sense to wait until next year and buy a Scorpio instead.

You also buy $70 box sets of anime for no reason. Expendable income is expendable. Some of these poor people, like Booby, can't even afford pizza because they work part-time retail. #coupons4bobby

I personally don't care about recurring charges for any game, but I respect that poor people want to have things without being forced to pay more for them. Everybody is entitled to think what they want.

That's fine. I don't believe I was suggesting otherwise.

I am poor too. Broke as shit actually. It's just that I use my side-hustle in order to pay for entertainment and media because it's what I enjoy most. You guys probably live a lot nicer than I do.

"side-hustle" ;)

Now is NOT a good time to buy any console until both Sony and Microsoft releases more details on cost of upgraded consoles like the new upcoming Neo and Scorpio.

Also there is no release to buy a Xbone One S considering that it seems that most Xbox "exclusive" games are/will be coming to PC

Considering Microsoft already dropped hints that the Scorpio is going to be a "premium" console.. I read that like the PS4 and the launch is going to be $7-800 bucks.

I bought the S though because I was tired of underutilizing my 4K TV. And frankly, it was super worth it. 4K Blu Rays are pretty awesome and 4K Netflix is nice as well.

sry gaise. didn't mean to turn this into a console thread.

Steam trying real hard to make me buy a game, but so many of these are bundle bait. I just know Mushihimesama will be in a bundle eventually
That deal on Mushihimesama isn't great anyway. You're better off waiting for a bundle or for this to be 75% off. The base game has been $5 before on Wingamestore (although it might've been a price mistake)

EDIT: Oh, and Castle of Illusion is 85% off on steam now (daily deal), for those that want to use steam wallet before it's delisted.

EDIT 2: Hm, the Matsuri Pack is 66% off now. It wasn't when I checked before. Not a bad deal if you can't wait.

And to be fair, Ark is a perfectly playable and "complete" game -- I didn't always like the changes they'd make but I never felt that the game was ripping me off on content or mechanics.  If they want to market the game as "evolving" or state that they're going to keep adding content and patching mechanics then fine.  But developers shouldn't get to hide behind the "Early Access" banner to deflect criticism at the point where they're putting out $20 full expansions.  Hell, they shouldn't get to hide behind the EA banner if they're selling $1 skins for that matter (looking at you, Killing Floor 2).

Present your game as a complete product and THEN you get to do the extra monetizing of DLC.

I actually have enough if someone is putting it up for $600 new.

Maybe $600 if slightly used along with pictures to see the quality of the product.

really should just rename early access to better reflect what it is. "pay us while we maybe finish the game access"

I have mixed thoughts on the subject. I feel like ARK and KF2 are essentially completely functional games that really shouldn't be in EA and just keep releasing new content/tweaking the gameplay so I don't have too much of an issue with them releasing DLC or skins or whatever. Basically, I feel both are misclassified as EA. Most trash in EA though shouldn't be sold period, let alone release DLC or anything else.

Oh and you PCers are idiots buying incomplete games that may never be complete. Just like you doofuses buy new PC parts every year and spend like 10x what a superior console would cost.

And I will kill you all.

You ever tried to play a shooter on PC with a controller? If a controller is your preferred method of input and the PC game doesn't have aim assist it is a horrible experience and you will get massacred. On console using a controller is typically much easier and a more level playing field.

Sheeeeeiiiitt. Gonna blow the last of my Archibux on some goddamn shooters tonight.

Edit: and by shooters I mean "shmups", if you're a dingle like that.

Exactly. Every time I try to type my reports up using my PS4 controller it is a total pain in the ass and I usually just get frustrated and just plagiarize something.

I was actually just going to ask any COD fanboys in here if they could fill me in on what's the easiest way to get some zombie action? Seems like most season passes are not on sale and most DLC is like 4 MP maps and only one zombie map. Kind of bullshit is this? Oh yeah, I know, if they release all the zombie maps in one pack none of that other shit would sell.

I know Paradox weekend isn't more interesting than all the console talk, but hey! 75% off Cities: Skylines. Lowest price on Steam so far.

I'm really tempted to buy it, holding off right now until tomorrow's monthly.

If you don't already have Downwell, I highly recommend it.
Seconded. It may be the best game in that entire selection (not to say there's an overwhelming amount of shit in it). Waiting for a bundle is perfectly prudent, but for $1.49 its going to give you the bang for that buck and a half.

I also think highly of Guns, Gore and Cannolli (although its really short and does not have online co-op), Enter The Gungeon (definitely a monthly title at some point but a bonafide great game), and Sky Force Anniversary (will be even cheaper/bundled when the new game comes out and has been cheaper before) although it is super grindy. Flame Over is not bad either, but its challenge curve goes through the roof very shortly into the game. Its a tough little bastard of a game.

There's a handful of titles I want in the Shmup sale, but none of them scream out buy it right now to me that I don't already own or don't mind waiting for.

I'm highly considering picking it up too. I've never really given city builders a chance because I've always assumed they wouldn't be my cup of tea. Maybe it's just that I know if I ever get into one it's probably going to set off my OCD like crazy. We'll see what tomorrow has to offer first.

Yeah, Enter the Gungeon is pretty good as well.
