Little help, what price does this game have for you guys? It seems to be the equivalent of $16.75, but I don't recall this game being that expensive.
Considering the price before discount is 67 US dollars I can only assume that they believe people will buy it from them for that price because OMG delisted game so RARE.

I just want a key so I can get rid of the copy in my inventory. :(
They have it on the site that shall not be named for $5 or less.

Also there is some weirdness with pricing at Gamersgate.

Disney Chicken Little: Ace In Action is base price $67 there even though it isn't delisted and is $20 base price on Steam.

Looking further there are many more like that as well.

You'll never fund your retirement with that copy of Chronicles of Narnia Prince Caspian in your inventory. Far too many people bought the game before it got yanked.

The Bros took on global terror tonight in Rainbow Six Siege.  After a couple warm-ups in Terror Hunt where Fox would blow off Ash's explosive into wooden barricades people were trying to break, thus injuring his own team and wasting a breach charge in a single move, we were joined by Eldritch and moved into PvP.  We were... surprisingly okay.  I mean, aside from Fox killing a hostage while we were up 5-2.  Or Eldritch killing himself with his own C4 charge before the round started.  Or four of us falling off the roof in a single round.   But we actually won some matches despite ourselves, never got shut out and managed to walk away feeling adequate.

Fighting for freedom, wherever there's trouble -- Go Bros!

On Tuesday, we take on global horror in Dead by Daylight.

I think the Humble Monthly last/this month kicked ass! XCOM 2, ABZU, and SteamWorld Heist (plus other games I haven't heard of) for $12 is a good deal. Good job, Humble!

Edit: Until I saw this about ABZU - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vKqxYDOIO4g
That guy has a very punchable face. And a quite grating voice.
Maybe it's cause I was stuck in a car all afternoon and had to listen to sports talk radio the whole time, but rants and "hot takes" are just as bullshit on youtube as they are on radio.

*grumble grumble*

Gosh Ghost Recon runs like crap. It hovered around 58 fps on Very High @ 1440 in coop, but would fall to 44 while driving.
Sure does. I couldn't stay on those mountain roads because it kept plummeting and then the vehicle would go plummeting down the side of the mountain. Seems like there could be some fun there once it gets all patched up and for the right price, like The Division, but makes me glad I haven't pre-ordered it.

He's probably hoping to sell it for some ridiculous amount.
Maybe but $16.75 already seems like a ridiculous price to me...

from reddit

Pure - $4.82

yeah you can get it in some Disney bundle, but... ya know.
Solid ass game. Enjoyed it allot on my 360 days. I thought i owned it on Steam but I'm not seeing it. (Maybe I need to track down my code on some website.)

Glad you all had fun! :D

(I was hoping to show as a surprise entrant, Royal Rumble style, but I didn't get much sleep today and the wife and I settled on pizza for diner... So I fell asleep on the couch when I should have been killing terrorists. (or getting killed by Fox.)

I played some more Ghost Recon: Wildlands solo. It feels as though Far Cry and Just Cause had a baby -- but that baby was immediately taken from them and raised in an attic somewhere so it would share their DNA but none of their personality. It's attractive and captures the "Rural South America" thing well and looks like it has a bit to do but none it felt especially interesting or fun to do. At the same time, it doesn't feel serious enough to engage me in that way; I don't actually feel like I'm a real world special agent defeating narcos, I very much feel like I'm playing a game about narcos and not especially enjoying it.
How was the squad AI for you...? (I'm curious if the problems I was having was just me or everyone.)

I thought the story seemed dark enough... but at the same time I felt it was sort of hard to truly enjoy due to squad AI and not always knowing where the enemies where. aka I rarely felt I was in serious trouble. Basically, I sort of felt I was in control or seriously fucked with no middle ground. (And the times I felt I was fucked were extremely rare... I only remember one when I went into a base with purple enemies instead of the normal orange for a weapon attachment. Those bastards even killed squad AI.)

That was my buddy's and my conclusion as well. After a couple of patches and a price drop, we're in. The $10 we paid for The Division was money well spent.

It was... okay? For computer squad AI, I mean, which is to say it was nothing impressive and would make dumb decisions but I didn't feel as though they constantly blundered into danger or were significantly worse than most squad AIs. Mostly I was resentful that I was saddled with them at all.

I've played a few matches of Rainbow Six Siege during both free weekends and I enjoy it, but with so many other games constantly getting my attention, I can't put down $25 for it. Even the historic low of $15 wasn't enough for me to pull the trigger. At this point, the game will be dead by the time it gets to my buy price.

From what I understand, the RSS population has been growing and they're pushing the eSports angle, so you're probably right about the price not hitting your point soon. Maybe another store will dump their physical stock.

I wish I could say my gameplay last night was part of the wild fox era, but I just made some major mistakes.  When I killed the hostage I had completely forgotten there was even a hostage involved and just went into the door shooting at anything moving.  Then after I killed the hostage in my mind I thought "Well, if they were protecting the hostage and I just killed the hostage, they should lose because they failed."  Of course, that ignores the fact our team was sent in to rescue the hostage.  Then I killed Bah because his attacker equivalent had just shot at me and I ran into a room and saw someone with the same uniform on and in my mind I thought "THE OTHER TEAM SHOOT SHOOT SHOOT."  The roof was just an attempt at rappelling gone wrong, but I was like the last one to fall off the roof.

I will say that unless you are elite with a squad that coordinates names, free weekend is pretty much the only time you'll want to play PvP and not end up feeling dejected. Against evenly paired teams, it's a ton of fun, but on non free weekends we've always been training dummies for high levels and it's just no fun then.

yea it is really a shame. Every update ubi always claims to fix matchmaking, since thats not supposed to happen, and every update its shown that its still just as horrible. I know if I was a low level id just throw my mouse at my monitor when playing 100+ lvls

One thing that probably throws it off, if you have one single high level person in your squad its going to greatly throw off the matchmaking. Even with that though we were seeing full squads of levels 0-5 being matched against us as 120-200's. I think their algorithms dont kick until you've played ~5 matches though, so that is probably part of it that alot of the free weekenders havent played enough for the matchmaking to figure out where it should place them

I think we should try it again next time its scheduled regardless. The matchmaking supposedly tries to match you with similar levels. That shit was a lot of fun and made the game a lot more tense. Id never played it before b/c I typically cannot stand randoms, but as a group it was fun rooting for each other.

EDIT: didnt see sasquatch's post before this, yikes, fuck it then

well its not completely level based any more, thats only part of it, here's their full explanation, you get a skill score amongst other things and rated on a bell curve to figure out your placement

http://rainbow6.ubi.com/siege/en-gb/news/detail.aspx?c=tcm:154-277344-16&ct=tcm:148-76770-32

also more matchmaking fixes should be coming in year two (as with every update) and a main focus is hit reg which is always a huge issue. I just hope they can fix the high lag advantage at some point. Having a ping of like 160+ is a huge advantage in this game right now

Keep on practicing with siege it's a lot of fun. Also, Ghost Recon is so bad. So generic and runs like shit. I know it's beta, but I'm not too enthused.

Is it worth it playing ranked?  I mean, I would hope that at least if we're all Triple Brass rated or whatever the bottom of the barrel is, we'd be matched against other similarly shitty players.  My understanding is that "Casual" PvP can be unexpectedly hard since high skill players go on there just to wreck the noobs.

Really, this is why I usually just play Terror Hunt.  I don't mind losing at PvP but I do mind wasting my time far out of my league.  Match me up with like-skilled people so we can go at it like a couple over-caffeinated six year olds with Nerf guns.

I think I pinpointed my moment of epiphany in Ghost Recon Wildlands -- I was at some bad guy settlement, doing my thing, when I saw a frontloader.  In the intro movie they actually show someone riding in one at the bad guys while the voiceover is saying "Do it your way!" while bad hombres are falling back, their bullets ineffectively hitting the bucket.  So, fuck yeah, right?  I jump into the machine, drive towards a couple drug dudes and... they shoot me dead in about three seconds.  I mean, how does a game manage to wring the fun out of driving a piece of construction equipment at bad guys?  I think that was when I thought "This game is actively opposed to me having fun" and gave up on it.

I haven't touched it since we bronighted it. I uninstalled it about an hour ago. Not interested. Will get when super cheap.

"Denuvo Website Leaks Secret Information, Crackers Swarm"

https://torrentfreak.com/crackers-swarm-as-denuvo-website-leaks-secret-information-170205/

Some of the leaked emails were from Rockstar. RDR2?
There was also some log files on what ips accessed the website, as well as two zip files on what appears to be a in depth explanation of the denuvo system. The biggest one was over 400 MB and wouldn't finish downloading for me though. the bug has been fixed since anyways.

yea matchmaking in ranked is more strict, because of the obvious. I rarely play ranked just cause we're a casual bunch, but if you do I recommend having a set squad, dont end up with randoms in ranked since you really need all the comms and teamwork you can get. It is fun though, its a more tense feeling in ranked

Well, on the upside, that money that I budgeted to buy Patriots super bowl champion shirts & hats is suddenly freed up for other use.

Now a 25 point lead. Going in, I could definitely see a scenario where the Pats lost this one. I just didn't see it playing out like this.

Congrats to all twelve of the Atlanta Falcon's fans.

yea makes sense, i think last i heard there was only a 3point spread in favor of the patriots. So one that small I can see creating a lot of heavy betting for both

This is a total ass-kicking. Ugh.

Local team here looks awful tonight.

If there is anything I know it's don't count the pats out. The football gods are definitely against the pats and for good reason Atlanta needs a super bowl. That and the NFC is where real football is played.

I guess the sports media will let loose with "Is the Patriots dynasty over?" articles, assuming there's no comeback. Many sports fans who wanted to see the Pats lose will listen to Yub Nub and celebrate the defeat of Emperor Belichick and Darth Brady.

Sports Media is about as useful as the liberal Media. They flourish by manipulating people who can't think for themselves that they need them.

Atlanta was the hottest team this year and sports media tried endlessly to make it seem otherwise. So they can make a fortune bashing NE for the 7 months of no football. New England Was the underdog and shows just how good they are by hanging in there
