This thread will attempt to provide a place to discuss past/present/future PC gaming deals. While mainly focusing on Steam games, any standout sales may also be presented. I will not be updating every Daily/Weekly/etc. sale. The tools to help individuals become a smarter shopper will be provided below.

See this POST for links to store sale pages, threads of interest and other tools to help you become a more informed PC game shopper.

Even fixed, it might make more sense to have, say, $8.50 in BC than to have $2.50 in BC and $6 in zGold.

But really, Fox should just buy some $7 RSS DLC to give Tachanka a samurai mask.
I might end up doing that. lol.

I still have tomorrow. I wish the Elite DLC was purchasable with money. I'd buy Rook's outfit. It's really cool.

extreme vetting, I'm sure TrumpCat will elaborate on how this will work.
If you're not all and only American, then you're not American. GTFO.

Well... in west Philadelphia I was born and raised. On the playground was where I spent most of my days. Chillin' out maxin' relaxin' all cool and I enjoyed shooting some b-ball outside of my school. Then a couple of guys (definitely PC elitists) who were up to no good, they started making trouble in my neighborhood. Man, I got in one little fight about liking multiple video game platforms and my mom got scared. Then she said, "You're movin' with your auntie and uncle in Utah."

True story, I swear. I'm Totes American! Totes man!

Female Enablers? wtf is a female enabler. Is that a female who is an enabler of someone who has an addiction? Or is it someone who enables females to do something?

I demand an explanation on my hellfire convictions

I also like how whoremongers are going to hell, along with occupational whores, but if you're just a straight up whore for the fun of it then your free and clear

Y no hipsters?  Someone call them and let them know they need a bigger sign.

Also, I did not know Obama was racist like the KKK.

Went to Walmart yesterday and browsed the PC game section to see if anything was marked down significantly. In a sea of hidden object garbage and full-priced Sims expansions, I managed to find two copies of Divinity: Original Sin for $9 a piece. I assume that upon activation they'll give you both the original game as well as the Enhanced Edition.

I'm not really interested in the game myself (only bought them because they were on clearance), so if any thread regular wants a copy at cost (~$10 after tax), let me know. Figured I'd ask here before putting them up in the B/S/T thread.

EDIT: Both gone.
Thanks. Apparently the store I went to had a third copy according to Brickseek, so if someone doesn't mind digging through the trashed and unorganized PC games section at the Chicopee, MA Walmart, it's all theirs.

Brickseek link if anyone wants to run a check in their area.

EDIT: For added fun, Brickseek link for Pillars of Eternity. Says that two stores ~30 miles away each have a couple copies for $7. YMMV as always with Brickseek's accuracy.

I *might* make a run to another Walmart within the next couple days that claims to have one D:OS available. If they do, I'll pick it up and get back to you.
If you do find it for $9 again, that would be an insane deal + awesome!

I wish my few WalMart's nearby actually had some good stuff for PC titles in Clearance...

EDIT:

You lost your lower jaw? That seems kind of extreme.
No, the "2 thumbs up" thing from Ebert was my reaction.

RIP to both legendary movie reviewers Siskel + Ebert, while I'm at it here.

EDIT 2:

The Pope or just any pope? What about former Pope Benedict?
There's no Pope around like this Pope:

Huh, I noticed that the BC cost of that Unreal bundle through the UK side of GG was 2,888 and I had gotten 2,700 as a kickback from buying SE4.  I only had to spend 18¢ in purchased Blue Coins!

I found some at a local Walmart and grabbed an extra so if any regular bros want it at cost, PM me. They had at least one more copy as well as the Diablo expansion (I think people were talking about that recently) but didn't check the price on it.

What's up with these dirty, disgusting, console peasant behavior? You actually go to a B&M store and buy games? What's wrong with you people?

When *insert name here*'s mom goes to walmart?

EDIT: I really should've made my username "insert name here"... it's probably taken anyways.

You should have just changed your name to Archie Goodwin. That's how I think of you anyways.

I literally can't remember what your old user name was.

New Middle Earth game...woot!

Shadow of War
Hopefully they build on the first game and don't just rest on their laurels. Shadow of Mordor was good, but after a short amount time you've pretty much seen everything the game has to offer. I really liked the game for the first 5-10 hours, but it got kind of stale and pretty repetitive.

A little bit of BG and Planescape Torment but no Icewind Dale. When those games came out I wasn't mature enough to play them.
Mentally, not age. I would try them now but 100+ hour epics are not something I want to even start in fear of getting into.

For me it was sports games at that time.
Eh, if you're gonna say D:OS is the best isometric game ever you should probably have had at least played the heavyweights, including BG2 and Planescape. Even if you skip BG1 and the Icewind Dale series, BG2 and Planescape are musts. BG2 is long, but when I played it last year i did close to everything in it and the expansion pack and it took me almost exactly 100 hours in total; BG2 base game probably took me a bit over 70 hours. At the very least play Planescape, that's not even 40 hours.

So anyway, there's no risk of getting banned if I buy something at Gamersgate UK instead of Gamersgate Latin America, right?
Not that I know of. Unlike trying to buy from Putingate, the UK store doesn't require use of a proxy or anything. Can't speak for going there from Mexico but, assuming it lets you make the purchase without any extra effort on your part, you should be fine.
