Is it even physically possible to have 40 tickets at this point without considering past purchases (I.E. Non-ticketed transactions)?

My understanding was that only releases 'post-ticket' were going to be considered for the rewards program (You get a physical ticket, duh). But I'm pretty sure I've bought every release, max quantity (and not acted like an asshole ordering with family/friends info) and I only have 21 tickets... I know I got shorted some recently and the Customer Support got to me quickly with a hard NO and literally emailed me the next day saying 'Nevermind. lol. Changed our policy.'

I would have 0000% of a problem with printing off my old transactions straight from my LRG account and mailing them in with my tickets. I would have MORE than enough then for the Night Trap Variant. :(

I've maxed on every release and I need like 10 more.

There was no limit on Silver case and a few other games when they removed the limit, so yes.

What? Poster tubes at retail is like $2-3, and still ships with first class.

The posters idea is because they're cheap to make, can be desirable, and won't reward hoarders/resellers as much.

They would because it would be something else to include in with what they resell. Much like LRG that come with the post card and sticker for the game they sell increases the price more. A poster would just be something else to complete a game for sale and make it worth more. Only things they wouldn't care about much would be just a generic poster for LRG or something, soon as you slap a product name and image from an actual game then it becomes something worth more.

Personally I wouldnt want posters for myself. I dont want to hang them at all or store them and Id never see them.

i know the front page wiki does a good job of things, but i feel like there has been so many other announcements and what not, that some games have gotten lost in the shuffle.  is there anywhere we can find all the titles and platforms that are "coming" from LRG?

As a vita only guy, with the rare ps4, i would love to know (specifically for budgeting purposes, lol)  whats ahead.

Ive look on their site, but there are titles i know i have heard coming that arent there, etc.

Basically, anyone got a master list of whats ahead that is public info?

I don't usually buy these limited run games (I only own Firewatch and The Swapper), but I hope Thumper gets a release because I'd buy that in an instant.

So with the kickstarter backers for Plague road getting keys soon (pc already going out it seems) I wanted to know what the normal cover would look like compared to the KS backer cover.  So i tweeted to ask.

So here is a better image of the 2 given that they are also gonna be available in poster form

https://sharkrobot.com/collections/arcade-distillery

Gotta say, I backed it to get a physical copy as it looks cool and the cover sold me and i was gonna be able to avoid the LRG crush on release day.  Now tho, I think i may double dip because that looks awesome

My sh*tpost wishlist right now for LRG probably is something like:

#1 VA-11 HALL-A (Wolfgame currently working on digital only Vita port, been playable at some events)

#2 VOEZ (released)

#3 Dies Irae (they reached their Vita digital Kickstarter stretch goal)

#4 Thumper (released)

Drive Girls (announced for release in EU, but not US yet)

Dark Witch Music Episode: Rudymical could also be cool

And maybe the two Degica published fighting games. Both have PS4 versions in Japan, but in the west they were only localized digitally for PC. I guess this is more on the publisher not even being willing to do a digital PS4 version, though:

Koihime Enbu

Blade Arcus From Shining: Battle Arena

Hell Yeah, Iv'e been waiting on this one for sure, as hopefully it's the gateway to the other Double Fine Lucas remaster games as well. Grim Fandango, Day Of The Tentacle and Full Throttle..........Yes Please! LOL

Broken Age is another great game I can delete off my memory card, and make room for some titles that may not get physical releases. I wonder what the qty's will be on this?

Stealth Inc, Stranger's Wrath, Lone Survivor, Thomas was Alone, Mutant Mudds, Furi and now Broken Age were all free on PS+.

Can one of the LRG guys explain the process of choosing what games they pick to release? Do you release just anything that a publisher wants to release? Have there been games you have turned down? IMO, its hard to be excited for games I've gotten for free and this trend seems to be continuing. A lot of people may be excited for these as they don't have PS plus or just like having a physical copy of every game, but I think a lot of other people have no interest in these releases. I'm not complaining, just trying to give legit feedback.

IMO the best releases have been games like Firewatch, Oxenfree and Darius. Very high quality games that should have gotten Physical releases from the publisher but didn't. Really looking forward to Night Trap, and hoping we get more unique games like that in the future.

I think their goal is to bring as many games to physical media as possible. Of course people who had games released for free via Plus are going to be eager to sell physical copies - they probably aren't selling a ton digitally because, well...they were free for Plus. So a huge market of people got the game for free, and this is a pretty excellent way to get people to double down and pay money for something a second time.

I stopped bothering with Plus in December and I haven't looked back. I went almost a full year without benefiting from the monthly freebies - either stuff I didn't want, or stuff I already had. The few digital games I DID buy with a discount aren't worth a year price of subscription. I don't play anything online so whatever.

To me owning something digital vs physical is no different than people having a jpg on their phone/computer vs having a print of it hanging on their wall. People such as myself just like owning something they can tangibly enjoy. Kinda like having an internet girlfriend, sure it's fun but you aren't going to be mashing genitals with her.

Even though it was a free PS+ title and I have the Gametrust steelbook (which looks awesome especially for the 9.99 I paid) I'd probably buy it again.
Im in the exact same boat. I just liked the game so much id like to physically on it on ps4. I think it would work great as a Vita game as well.

I totally understand this. I have bought some of the LRG releases I already own digitally solely because I want to own a physical copy. But to me it seems like the Publisher is doing this:

1. Sell the game digitally until people stop buying it.

2. Then, release it on PS Plus to get paid by Sony.

3. Finally release is through LRG for guaranteed sales on a game that is pretty much dead and not making any money at all.

Why didnt they release Full Throttle instead of Broken Age? Almost all of us would have LOVED to see Full Throttle released. Unfortunately, I'm guessing the reason FT wasn't released first is because Broken Age has pretty much run its course and they want one last opportunity to milk the last few drops out of it. I understand that its their job as the Publisher to do this, but it feels like we are getting the scraps on some of these releases. They will do the same with FT and Grim Fandango somewhere down the line when they have run their course too.

Sort of disappointing to think that some LRG releases are simply the last stop of a games' lifespan.

Yeah it does seem that way... As far as Full Throttle which I would love to see physically too, I talked to Josh and he said there are (obviously) more hoops to go through (licenses) to get the Lucas Arts HD remakes printed but he hopes to. Makes sense.

Broken Age is a high-quality digital game with incredible production values. It's short-sighted to say that since it was free on PS+ it shouldn't be preserved physically. Your free PS+ game is only free so long as you maintain your membership or the service exists. PSN will inevitably shut down support for this stuff within the next two decades and you'll be shit out of luck as far as "owning" these titles goes. You don't own anything through PS+.

We've turned down plenty of games, but we won't turn down games that have been critically well-received or come from developers with large and passionate fan bases. One release does not come at the expense of another and many times companies will give us a lesser known title to test the waters before giving us access to something bigger or better.

With Double Fine - the LucasArts games are locked behind licensing issues with Disney and Sony. It will require substantial amounts of money (in the form of minimum guarantees) to convince anyone at either of those companies to play ball with us on this. We'll also need the full support of Double Fine in telling the licensors that we're trustworthy and can deliver on what we say we will.

I expected that Broken Age would be a title that people would be pretty universally excited for. I guess I shouldn't be surprised to find people upset about it.

Yeah, i mean, my assumption could be totally wrong on why they didnt release Full Throttle first. And I'm not trying to thread crap on their announcement. But it's hard to deny the pattern of some of the releases that were on PS plus months or even years ago.

Checking over their release list again I have found more games that were free on Plus: XeoDrifter, Futuridium, Oddworld, Octodad, Rainbow Moon, and the Swapper. This is WAY more than i realized.

Part of LRG's allure has been that they release the games that no one else bothered to release, or didn't have faith in. Now it seems like they are dangerously close to being just a middleman for Publishers and acting as a dumping ground for games at the end of their life span. I'm happy they are around, for sure! But does it not seem like they are releasing pretty much any game that a Publisher brings them? Seeing more and more games that were Free for anyone with PS plus, it feels like Publishers are just giving LRG the games they have no use for any more and can't make money on any other way.

I just dont want them to turn into Last Ditch, instead of Limited Run.

This is why I chose to ditch the internet girlfriend and get a Real Doll. Lucy is tangible and someone whom I can physically enjoy. Digital isn't the same.

Thanks for the response. Your passive aggressive statement at the end is a little off putting though. I think I was pretty fair with my criticisms. The pattern seems to show that companies release on LRG after the game has run its course. I listed several games where this was the case. I want LRG to succeed, and for me, your success comes from more games that werent free on PS plus, and less games that were. I can't possibly be the only one that thinks this. Honestly, I am probably one of your biggest customers, so I think this is feedback in the best possible way, and I don't think I was rude about it.

For me, I am usually not concerned with playing a game a 2nd time after I finish it. I have bought Physical versions of games I already own digitally, but that is mainly to support developers and games that I like. If I have not purchased a game digitally, I will buy the LRG release because I can sell the game in the future when I am done with it, just like any other physical release. I am not concerned about owning the game 20 yrs from now. I dont care about losing the game when PS plus disappears, I am most likely already finished with it. Not everyone is the same as me, and many want a physical version even though they got the game for free. It does not negate the fact that so many LRG releases appear to be the last ditch effort for Publishers to make money on a game, which removes the allure of LRG being something special, IMO.

I mean, is it just a coincidence that at least 1/3 or more of your releases were free on PS plus?

Finally, can you give us some examples of games you have turned down? That would be interesting to hear

I'm sure they have had some real stinkers thrown their way. Think about all of the trash that is on the Wii... yeah we don't need them saying "ok" to every dev that can program a pong clone.
