Pollo Tropical is my favorite "fast food" place here in Miami and I'm going to miss it when I move up north );

I tried Spring Chicken and it's not bad but a bit pricey for me :\ At least the prices are better than Yard Bird >_> never again

WRC 6 for 25 is the lowest price yet anywhere and tempting. Considering the paladins pack and a few other ending deals.

Figured Rocket League would finally have a good sale since I got the 3 month combo deal using some amazon digital credit this weekend.

Alphabet Challenge ends soon if it's not already over an hour ago. Z ended up being the toughest one to find an easy achievement but I got it just before heading in to work.

The Babe's Chicken founders' first chicken restaurant is Bubba's Chicken, right across the street from SMU campus. It's drive-thru style instead of sit-down, and better than Babe's IMO if you don't need the endless sides. Raising Canes is epic most of the time, but best BBQ places is the real question.

Zaxby's sauce tastes like shit to me compared to Canes. I had only in the last couple years had Canes, I had Zaxby's in...2006? Something like that.

Warning, this is just from 30 minutes or so of play:

It's like Ori (minus the combat & upgrades) so far. Puzzles require manipulation of seasons (I only have Winter and the default at this point). Art style goes a long way for me, and this game looks gorgeous.

Looks only go so far, but I'm happy to say the game controls well. I was planning to buy at launch, but the $20 price caused me to wait. I would say $15 is a solid price. If you're not itching to play another platformer, it'll probably be cheaper eventually.
 
2Dark is a 2D Hitman type game. Not bad, but I think it should be $15 at full price, not 50% off. I wrote a longer review, if anybody is interested send me a PM. I don't want to advertise my shitty writing here. I'm a social worker not a writer. Plus I just checked and it was never published on the website. Our editor is way too far behind.
 
Kind of glad this week's sales suck. After last week's crazy sale and Hour of Devastation prerelease in two weeks, I need some crappy sales for the next month to recover.

On one hand, the games aren't exciting, but on the other, the first month in forever where I don't own a single game so that excites me. Not a fan of the inclusion of Kane And Lynch though. I'll download it just because, but probably won't play it on principle thanks to the BS leaderboard achievement.

 
My favorite chicken place sadly doesn't exist anymore. Anyone from the D.C. area would know Chicken Out Rotisserie. Give me a chicken pot pie, a side and a slice of carrot cake, and I'd be happy again.

No one in CA knows what a pot pie is, let alone can make a halfway decent one.

Just my last-minute two cents: Jotun is pretty great so far (roughly an hour or two since I downloaded it). Beautiful art and music, cool story, no hand holding at all but not terribly challenging (yet) either. Worth $5 already for me.

The Alien Breed games were ok. There's a lot of backtracking to open doors or to find a way around blocked areas. I don't regret buying it for $1.24/each last March but I wouldn't have missed it either if I didn't buy it. It rips off the Alien series entirely. Hope that helps.

On topic, purchased and played Bulletstorm: FCE and loved that one as well. I didn't play as Duke because I wanted to get a feel for the real character. Had some epic scenes and is exactly as the title describes, a Bulletstorm.

 
Yeah the HHAGG in Vegas is absolutely amazing. The best C&W ever. Really nice drinks and super cheap beers too. If you're a lame old white meat dork its not for you though. Thigh meat with the waffle and a bit of the honey syrup is next level.

Also if you are out there, you should fux with the Wicked Spoon, best buffet in Vegas (prolly the world)

It is a bit pricey, but just kills any other local fried chicken for a decent price.

They also have $1 PBR pounders too (at least last time I was there)

Any of the CAGs who love beer that either live in Vegas or plan on going there soon, should 100% go to the Ellis Island Brewery (and casino). all beers are 2 bucks and you can get a descent steak for like 8 dollars

Super simple Melee couch co op brawler. If you don't need extreme complexity and just want to punch your friends and throw diapers full of bricks at them, this is pretty enjoyable for the price point
