Are you freakin' kiddin' me??!?!?
YES!!! Especially at THIS price.
Anyways, Quake is the perfect example of old-school gameplay in a FPS. Most levels are labryrinths you have to find your way around + usually a certain weapon is extremely effective against a certain enemy.
Seriously, the campaigns for Quake 1 base-game (despite the "meh" ending) + especially Quake 2 base-game are outstanding.
If you're worried about graphics quality + features, keep in mind these games have been Open Source for years + that these games are legendary - so you'll easily find plenty of mods for them. Go grab a Modern Source Port + maybe some Texture Packs. For Source Ports, QuakeSpasm for Quake 1 & KMQuake for Quake 2 should be fine.
Quake 4's Campaign from Raven Software was pretty good + it probably could be argued it was a better-paced overall game than Doom 3 base-game's Campaign. I'm sorry, Doom 3 (base-game) w/ its Campaign got kind of boring in the middle, despite the 1st 1/3rd & last 1/3rd of it were insanely good.
I'm thinking about picking this Quake Collection up just to put all this great Quake stuff on Steam + to get Dissolution of Eternity - in which I'm still trying to figure out how + why the hell I missed Dissolution from retail back in the day.
