Big headliners confirmed – The biggest bundle event of the year is coming soon

Gamers will be banging on the festival gates next week as we at Fanatical launch BundleFest, the biggest bundle event of the year. Starting Monday, February 18th, BundleFest will bring you exciting headline acts and exclusive bundle deals every day through to Friday, February 22nd.

Following the success of Fanatical’s best-selling Kingslayer Bundle, you will be itching to see what’s on offer during this 5-day digital festival. Although the lineup is still very much a secret, we’ve revealed the name of our headline act on Monday - the Colossus Bundle - which is to feature a strong list of exciting AAA and Indie titles.

And that’s not all. Make any purchase during BundleFest and you’ll instantly become a VIP, with an exclusive discount off your next bundle.

Make sure you visit the Fanatical Store at 8am PST / 11am EST / 4pm UTC on Monday, February 18th for the big reveal or check out our Blog Post for more information.
Guesses include:

Average Fanatical Bundle has been better value than the average Humble Bundle.  Actually looking forward to this to see if they come up with some good stuff.  Revealed games so far are kind of meh, though.

Assuming it's priced as low as the Kingslayer Bundle that would be a pretty impressive game bundle.
This could slay the Kingslayer Bundle.

I'm more hyped for bundlefest than I ever am for any humble bundles or steam sales.
Well it IS the bundle event of the year, dude.

Beyond Earth and Ash of Gods are the only ones that interest me in that group. Hopefully there are some pleasant surprises of previously unbundled indie games spread throughout the week's bundles.

It's crazy that in all the years they've been operating, I've never once bought a Fanatical/Bundle Stars bundle. All these hyped-up events fall flat for me. For as much shit as Humble gets, their bundles still manage to click with me a whole lot more often.

Of those seven guesses, the only one I might have any interest in is Mafia 3, and even then that game seems to have its fair share of issues.

I know we all have our opinions and it's pointless to argue about it, but I'm always blown away anytime people claim any other site has better bundles than Humble. I've bought less than 10 bundles from Fanatical/BS in their entire history. I buy more than 10 game only bundles from Humble every year and Fanatical puts out more bundles than Humble. I honestly can't think of a single game I've gotten from Fanatical that I've been super excited about.

Surprised to see shade being thrown at Fanatical. They do have a decent amount of solid bundles on a fairly regular basis. The only issue would be is if you buy a lot of Humble Bundles, whether their monthlies or their occasional weeklies, as the Fanatical bundles tend to have repeats from Humble's offerings. A lot of the bundles I see Fanatical drop, I look at it and go "I would buy it, but I already have half of the games in this bundle."

With that being said, Fanatical is a good bundle site for people who miss out on previous Humble Bundles or are new to PC gaming or getting back into PC gaming.

meh I said it before, every recent humble has one or two things I'm interested in which doesn't make it worth the arbitrary price tier (especially since they've upped that tier's price because of the coupon for people subscribed to their Monthly).  I've posted the amount of bundles I've bought from them each year for the past few years and it's been going down since 2016 or so.

When I buy a bundle from Fanatical, it's usually for two or three games, but their prices are lower so I feel it's more worth it.

For me - Humble lately seems to be quite good for Monthlies; and Fanatical for the bundle every now and then. These seem to be the one's I mostly buy from.

Don't really seem to be buying as many Humble weekly bundles either. Seems to be for me there on Tuesday weeklies: either quality isn't that hot on the weeklies; and/or I already got some of the stuff in the Monthly or older bundles.

If you're buying tons of bundles from almost everywhere, I can see some bundles from either being "meh" to you b/c you already own some stuff in there or you already have an entire bundle of repeats.

But, really though - I think Humble and Fanatical seem to be doing the best out of the club for bundles. Groupees and IndieGala last few years just ain't anywhere on the Humble and Fanatical level.

I mean... if 2deep4u pudding eating simulators are your think then, yeah, Humble is going to look better. There is no middle ground with Humble. Either it's AAA trash or extreme hipster indie with maybe half of the monthlies delivering and very few of the weeklies being of note.

Fanatical doesn't have much in the way of AAA but their indie offerings are usually superior than Humble.

I don't buy digital pc only titles very often but I use all options pretty evenly.  gog steam humble fanatical and green man ect.

If the games I played wern't cheaper physically on consoles, had running issues on pc or offer something like tales of zesteria did I would buy pc more often.  Fantical did have tales of berseria for 7$ which is the cheapest it's ever been so saying that they don't have good deals very often isn't true.  It's just that the stuff you are specifcially interested in isn't on sale.

Honestly usually in Bundlefests I usually get the 1 bundle (usually called Killer bundle or something else) with the less repeats and high quality games, and usually like 1 other cheap one for games I've missed or skipped over in previous bundles. I usually always buy at least 1 though so that's something, but usually most of the bundles are cheap but filled with mass repeats.

So there's two locked games...that show up in a week when it's still available for purchase.

I guess the idea is that you have to buy it this week to get a discount on your next bundle purchase?  I don't really see the advantage of buying early if you're on the fence.

It's not bad.  But I own most of it that I would want and only have marginal interest in Epistory and Chaos Reborn.  I don't expect the unlocks to be anything great.

If anyone is on the fence for Mafia 3 I would steer them away from it.  I got bored after a few hours.  I might pick it up later but, imo, the Mafia series has always been the weakest of the GTA clones as far as gameplay.

Colossal bundle is pretty disappointing for me.

Also, surprise surprise the star wars unleashed bundle doesnt even have star wars force unleashed 2. For an average at best game it sure doesnt ever get bundled, even in a bundle sharing its name.

You know who does have Star Wars Force Unleased 2? Origin Access.

1 & 2 never felt like they were trying to be GTA clones but rather linear plot-based games with a few open world aspects. Mafia 3 though... ehh...

Colossal.bundle... More like Colossal failure, AMIRITE???

Where's TrumpCat when you need him???

I'm a little tempted by Chaos Reborn, but I saw 1 review mention that there's not much to the singleplayer and you need to play multiplayer to really enjoy it.

Eh, it' in the dollar tier. If the single player is even an hour or two long it'd be worth that.
I'll wait until the other two games are revealed before deciding on this one, but before this goes away I'll be grabbing at least the dollar tier.

Since I already own half the revealed games in the second tier (and Mafia 3), anything else being worthwhile really hinges on whatever those two games are.

If anyone is looking for Mafia 3, they probably should also make sure to either go Deluxe from the get-go and/or make sure at some point they get the Season Pass dirt-cheap.

M3 Season Pass has been $4 on Fanatical before - https://isthereanydeal.com/game/mafiaiiiseasonpass/info/

The presentation; and both story & character development is excellent in M3, IMHO.

The game can be repetitive...and the Season Pass really helps mix things up w/ different mission types - i.e. Faster Baby DLC has vehicular combat missions; those are a blast.

I'm waiting for the Killer Bundle myself...usually is shown near the end, if there is one this time. The rest of the stuff I rarely if ever buy. I hate mystery keys and wont touch that with a 10 foot pole.

Not sure if Fanatical ever telegraphed from the start that they'd have limited keys for some of the games in the Colossus Bundle, but Tier 3 (Mafia 3, Civ BE) was dropped entirely this morning and the mystery games in Tier 2 (Ash of Gods, Invisigun Heroes) have been revealed.
