Where is the weekly ad?
They ended the weekly ad for more rotation of deals. Please check the homepage and deal link for the current deals.

I can't find a trade in value for an item?
It might not be tradable or calling a store to find the value may be the only option.

How many copies of a game can I trade in?
You are allowed to trade in 4 copies of the same game (same system) within a rolling 30 day period.

Are there trade limits?
Yes, $500 cash minus some electronic trade ins and or $2000 trade credit in a rolling 30 day period.

Can I use the $5 monthly coupon on gift cards?

Yes you can in store but not online please note not all gift cards will apply to this rule.

I have a $XX.xx pre-owned reward certificate, and I want to use it on a B2G1 transaction. Should I?
It depends. If the three games are equal value, do not use your certificate. The value of the certificate would be applied to the free game, which would not benefit you. If one game is more expensive, you can use the certificate to make it the same value as the other two games ($5 reward certificate applied to transaction with two $10 games and one $15 game would make all three games $10).

TERMINOLOGY AND LINGO:
ASL/SL: Assistant Store Leader, Store Leader; manager positions at GS.
B2G1: Buy two, get one free.
GS: GameStop
JD: Junior detective, an employee who is out to get someone
LP: Loss Prevention; this is the department that actually bans accounts after being flagged.
TC/TiC: Trade credit.
TIV/TV: Trade in value, or what a game currently trades for. When posting a TV for a game, always use the base value.

My purchases in this sale, which has gotta be GS’s best sale since that clearance one a couple years ago (maybe more?). Pictured separately is Tokoyo in its “new” state. I’ll be returning that, maybe they’ll have a case for it who knows. Most of these ”new“ games were the last ones in the store. Only Wizard with a Gun and UFO Robot Grendizer were actually sealed but that’s ok. Missed out on Trek to Yomi, oh well.

Any of them gutted? Are the codes in Miasma Chronicles, Dragon Age, and Dead Island still valid?

I got my order today:

- Advance Wars 1 & 2 Reboot Camp - Switch (opened with "new" sticker)
- Dragon Age: The Veilguard - Deluxe Edition - Xbox (opened with 2 "new" stickers, DLC code UNUSED)
- Kingdom Come Deliverance - Royal Edition - Switch (opened with shittastic clear seal sticker across opening)
- Reyantis - Switch (sealed)
- Visions of Mana - Xbox (opened with multiple "new" stickers and residue from removed shittastic clear seal sticker)

I honestly thought of all these games to come sealed it'd be Dragon Age, but all the games came in like-new condition and Dragon Age has its DLC code (and I did test the opened games), so, for these prices, I'm happy. It could've been worse.

So I’m at GameStop yesterday, and my buddy’s ringing me up for Dragon Quest III HD-2D, which is going for $39.99 new. We’re talking about PS1 games, just vibing, when all of a sudden, he starts talking like a robot. Out of nowhere, he’s like, ‘This is our last new copy. It’d be my pleasure to go in the back and reseal it to recreate the experience of opening it if it’s for a gift.’ I’m like, ‘Yo, you feeling alright?’ He snaps back to normal and just goes on like nothing happened.

I've had dozens of burner GS accounts over the years, and a few of them got the coupons. i'd be willing to send screenshots of em...30% for $5, 50% for $10. Amazon gift card preferred.

I just found the coupon and it shows 5/23/25 expiration. Can anyone verify that it works today?
I just used one for $1,000 trade 20 minutes ago. All mine show 5/24.

The employee did say that there was something posted in main menu about coupons disappearing from accts early when mine did not show on their end. I showed them the screenshot, she scanned it and it worked fine

And its towards switch 2 games right?
That's 40%, not sure when that expires, but yes that promo exists.
The 50% bonus is a coupon that was sent out. No pre-order necessary.
They stack, but today is the last day.
Sh!t is basically base x 2.2 right now in that scenario.
I got rid of some real trash for stupid money

The holy gamer ghost spoke thru him.

Just a footnote. When I tried to stack a preorder for Daemon x Machina it didn’t work with the 30% coupon. I noticed before swiping my trade card and I switched to Mario Kart World and it stacked as usual.

Is the Switch 2 preorder 40% trade bonus on games dead? It's not on the website. I thought it was supposed to last until the end of the month?

Edit: It's back on the website now. Earlier this morning, it was nowhere to be found. Weird.

Is this the first time a B2G1 sale has only included Xbox Series X as the only next gen option? Usually it's either they're both included or not at all. Xbox games really on their way out smh

Anyone reach a point where you have too many games?
See a couple I might want, but don't feel like I will play them.
I literally just traded in all the games I had except for 3 that were too little value or I was going to play next. Between things I've already bought in digital sales and whenever I re-up on the PS+, I'll never get to any of this backlog before they end up going on sale for even cheaper than I bought them for last year.

My issue I'm more or less forced to spend $55, or I pay shipping.
If I go instore, good chance sale items are gone in 2-3 days.

I used to have an original xbox and like 50 games.
I had slowly bought them over a year, only played like 3 games....
Bought dreamcast and Saturn too, modded them. Barely played.

I ended up selling it all a year later, since it was a waste to me.
I did make a profit, since I bought the games in lots, kept what I wanted and sold the others.
I used to buy a new PC, which can more or less play them anyways.

Bought a "new" copy of a game in-store, decided to return it, but because it didn't have the sticker on it and wasn't shrink wrapped the employee refused to allow me to return it and essentially accused me of lying when I said that's how I bought it.

Will CS be of any help?

PSA: If you have any expired coupons from yesterday or the day before, let a GSA scan them today and/or tmrw to verify and confirm if they have truly expired or not. Yesterday the 24th, I gave up in trying to find games to use the B2G1F (exp. 5/24) coupon on; however, today is the 25th, and I was able to redeem the expired coupon. Got three pricey games at a fraction, thank you CAG trader!

Literally same thing happened to me yesterday. I'm done with GS online orders at this point. Too much BS
