I checked out the Halo 5 Guardians Beta and found out that I'm still not good at Halo MP, but still had fun...

A Few Thoughts On Dead Space

Posted by _kurabi_ in Blog _kurabi_, 25 March 2015 - * * * * * · 665 views

I'm posting a multi-part video playthrough of Dead Space on Youtube . As a result, I took a look at something I wrote years ago in response to originally playing the game. Here it is, re-edited somewhat:

I played the original Silent Hill for about fifteen minutes before I had to press power and go for a quiet walk in the real world, perhaps secretly hopi...

The Eye Of The Beholder The Order takes place over several months in 1886 in an alternate setting of Victorian era London where a modern form of the Knights of the Round Table keeps the peace. Since this game is so new, that’s all you’ll be getting out of me in terms of the story

Like you all, I was incredibly concerned and losing sleep over the possibility of it not happening. I'd lie in bed at night and wonder "what if it doesn't happen? Would they really let us down like that?"

Night after night went by, and more information kept coming out, but not the information we needed. As the day is getting closer and closer I and every...

Tales from the Otherguy - Tokyo and Akihabara buyer's guide

Posted by Otherguy676 in Blog Otherguy676, 16 February 2015 - - - - - - · 651 views

Hello all.

I have just returned from Japan from my honeymoon. My fantastic wife agreed to spend most of the time in Tokyo within a 5 minute walk from Akihabara. When I went to Japan, I checked out all the Akihabara buying guides. While I believe Jeremy Parish had posted the best one, none of them quite did it for me. So I decided to make one of my ow...

I made more progress on my backlog in the past couple of weeks. I played a interesting mix of games.

Walking Dead Season Two
Another great Telltale game. It seemed a lot shorter than the first. Steam shows it took me 8 hours to complete the game. I highly recommend this game to anyone who likes this type of game even if you don't like zombies. I can't w...

Heavenly Sword (PS3) Review + Tip

Heavenly Sword, PS3, Review

Heavenly Sword (PS3) Review + Tip Heavenly Sword is an early Playstation 3 game, It was made in the time when developers were still enamored with quicktime events (there are a lot of them) and it features (thankfully optional) motion controls. The graphics are quite pretty even for a 7+ year old title but there are enough weaknesses in the core gameplay to detract from the experience.

1. Portal 2 (PS3)
Although it's my second (third?) time playing it, it's still one of my favorite games of all time. Clever, funny, simple but fantastic co-op, an amazing finale - it does everything completely right. Valve on the other hand - STOP Fuck ING UP YOUR CO-OP SERVERS FOR PS3. You're making everyone nuts!
